chapter six

"Elena! I know you're home!" Alex yelled as she stormed through the Gilbert household, looking for the doppleganger. instead she runs into her new guardian, Alaric.
Alex uses her magic to lift her hand up and telekinetically pin him against the wall and choke him, "if it isn't the babysitter" she smirks, "the eldest, Elena, did something to my sister, so you're going to tell me where the doppleganger is or else i'll deliever your head to her on a platter"
Alaric visibly chokes for air, "she went out. I don't know where" he whispered due to the lack of oxygen.
"well that's a bloody shame, isn't it? you're quite a handsome one" Alex puts her palm out, ready to chop his head off, when the one and only Elena walks throug the door. Alex throws Alaric across the room and rushes towards the doppleganger. her eyes glowing red and veins crawling down her eyes, "where is Rebekah!"
her eyes showed fear, but Elena stood confidently, "Rebekah isn't the only one you should be worried about"
Alex huffed and used her powers to slam the girl into the wall, she walked over to her and kneeled in front of her, "what did you do, Elena?"
"it wasn't me. Stefan took the coffins. all I did was dagger Rebekah"
Alex stood up straight with a scowl on her face, "you and your flithy friends will not only suffer the wrath of one, but two Mikaelson's!" she shouted in rage, "congrats, Elena. you just made me your enemy"
Alex has already lost her family before, she won't let it happen again. and with Klaus by her side, she will do whatever it takes to get them back.

instead of school, Alex was at the Mikaelson's new home, which was under construction. she walked into the area she knew Klaus would be in just as Tyler stormed out and one of the hybrids held a bloodied sack, most likely with a head in it.
"what's gotten you in a sourwolf mood, brother?" she asked with a smirk, knowing all too well that whatever he had planned probably didn't work, like always.
"your acquaintance, Tyler, refuses to do as I say, so we shall do things my way" Klaus says, walking through the house. Alex follows.
"and what may that be?" she asks.
"we're going to a founders meeting"
"Carol! oh, it's o good to see you" Alex smiles as she approaches the Lockwood woman with Klaus by her side, "this is my brother, Niklaus"
Klaus shows off his famous grin and kisses Carol's hand, "please, call me Klaus"
Carol smiles, "your brother is quite the charmer" the woman giggles like a little school girl. Klaus had that effect on people.
"well... look at what the cat dragged in," Damon speaks a he approaches them, "nice vest" he says to Klaus.
"why thank you, It's good to see you, Damon" Klaus smiles, very sarcastically by the way.
Damon nods and looks down at Alex - who stood about 3 inches taller than she actually was with her heels on - but alas she was still a good bit shorter than him,"you look stunning as always, Alex"
Alex rolls her eyes, "your charms don't work on me, Damon"
"anyways," Klaus clears his throat, "Carol and I were jsut discussing whether you'd be tonights other big benefactor"
"what do you say, Damon? Klaus has made a very generous pledge. you know how we're chomping at the bit to begin the renovation"
Damon hums, "Carol, don't take this the wrong way, but do you realize that you've been kissing the ass of two immortal hybrids who ruined your son's life?"
Alex took a step closer to the vampire, "Carol and I are friends, so she knows everything. and Niklaus saved Tyler's life, she is greatful for us" she smiled.
Carol agreed, "Klaus and Alex have promised to protect Tyler, Damon. and our town"
"from who? his hybrids are the ones the town needs protection from"
"well, I'd have no use for them if your brother would kindly return my family"
"not gonna happen"
"that's what i thought. which is why i've come to an agreement with the mayor. you and the council stay our of my hair, I'll stay out of yours. your town gets prtected, my hybrids get left alone and everyone will be happy. all you have to do is get Stefan to stop decapitating my friends"
"please, Damon," Carol begs, "get your brother under control or the council will be forced to take action against him"
Damon scoffs, "you've got to be kidding me"
Alex smiles, "oh, come on, dracula. give peace a chance"

in order to get their family back, the powerful hybrids had a plan. Klaus would use his hybrids to get Bonnie to tell them where the coffins were by using her mother and her family as leverage, and then the Mikaelson's would get their family back. and turns out, the coffins were in the basebent of the houe 100 witches burned in, but seeing as Alex was a witch herself and was known to help her kind, they let herself and her brother into the house with no harm.
Damon happened to be there too, which Alex was not pleased about, but Klaus promised her she would get her family back so she decided not to complain. currently, the witches used their spiritual magic to weaken Klaus, all because he insulted them.
"the funny thing about witches is that living or dead, they care about their own," Klaus grunts in pain as the spell strenthens, "a hundred dead witches have a thousand living descendents. and I have no problem killing every last one of them if I don't get my coffins back! as we speak, my hybrid friend is prepared to end the bennett line," with that, the witches stopped. Klaus stepped closer to Damon with a smirk, his next words directed towards the dead witches, "now... please... show me the coffins"
just then, three coffins were revealed from their cloaking spell. Alex narrowed her eyes, there were supposed to be four, "Niklaus..." she spoke softly, but anger was bulding up, "the last one is gone"
"where's the fourth?" Klaus asks, growing impatient, "show me!"
"well, ehh, here's the thing. they can't. it's not here" Damon laughed, walking over to where the coffin previously laid, "Bonnie gave me a heads up, and I didn't have time to grab all four, but I did have time to get one"
Klaus slowly walks towards Damon, "I will tear you limb from limb. and only then, when you are a writhing mass of blood and flesh, will I rip your heart from your flesh"
Alex glared at the vampire, "or I could do it myself, right here right now"
"sorry," Damon started, "same rules apply. leverage and all... I know you want your family back, but something tells me you want what's in that coffin a lot more," and with that, he walks away.
Alex and Klaus quickly got the hybrids to bring the coffins to the finished home. Alex was happy, soon her family would be back and things will be good again. one of the coffins was still missing, though, but Rebekah's coffin laid in it's place.
Alex walked into the coffin room to talk to Klaus, "Niklaus what do you say we-" she stopped as one of the hybrids fell to the floor, their brother Elijah, stood with his heart, "-oh my god"
"what did I miss?" Elijah asked, he took the hankerchief from his pocket and cleaned his hands, "i guess it wasn't either of you that removed the dagger from my chest"
Alex hadn't seen Elijah in many years, so she was too in shock to speak, but she gained back her voice once Elijah slammed Klaus through the door to the other room. she screamed at them to stop as they fought in the room, destroying tables and other breakables. Klaus opened the coffin to their brother Kol, took the dagger out and aimed it right at Elijah.
"Niklaus stop!" Alex yelled, finally gaining the two brothers attention. she used her magic to bring the dagger into her grasp.
Klaus, still holding onto Elijah, speaks, "Mikael is dead"
Elijah stands up in shock, "what did you say?"
"I killed him. with his own weapon. he's gone, Elijah. forever"
"why do our family remain in these coffins? Finn for over 900 years, Kol for over a century"
"because of Stefan Salvatore," Alex says, walking over to her older brothers. she handed Klaus the dagger and Elijah stood in shock about this all.
"all we ask, brother, is that you remember the oath of loyalty you once swore to us," Klaus re-daggers their brother Kol, "always and forever... we need you to stand by our side. be our brother"
"help us," Alex continues, "destroy Stefan, and we promise you, Elijah, that our family will be whole again"
Elijah turns to fully face his youngest sister, the answer evidently a yes, "Aleksandra..."
she smiles widely at her brother, "took you long enough"
