chapter 11

(Scarlet’s pov)

I woke up with a big stretch. “awhhh…. That was some good nap.” I look to my left to see if Danny was sleeping beside me but only to see no Danny. “ hmm.. He must be down stairs” I said to myself. I went down stairs and saw mom cooking. “ hey mom have you seen Danny? I asked. “ ya I did he went out an hour ago, I though he should be back right now. He’s gone quite awhile now. He said he needed to go to the supermarket. I he needed to go and buy some toothpaste. I overheard him say it. Ha haha. I guess he dint want me to hear that part.” she replied while pouring the egg into the frying pan. “hmm.. If he’s just going to get toothpaste it shouldn’t take that long. He should be back by now…” Scarlet scrunched her face in confusion. “ I call him” she said.

She pulled out the phone and dialed his number. It ringed but he dint pick up, it then went to his voicemail. She kept trying again and again, but it  kept going to voicemail. Scarlet started getting worried. “ mom I think something happened to Danny” she said panicking. Her mother picked up the panicked voice and stopped cooking. She turned off the fire and faced her daughter. “I’ll call your dad me and will look for him around the town you look for him in the supermarket.” Clarissa said.

Once her dad was called, they locked up the house and started looking for him. As Scarlet was walking, she noticed a white and red looking thing on the floor. She walked towards it. As she got closer, the strong smell of blood hit her. Her eyes widen in horror that it might be Danny’s blood. She quicken her pase. as she reached there she lifted the plastic bag. It was covered in blood. She sniffed it. Her eyes widen and she dropped the bag. It was Danny’s. she started sniffing around who might have been here and where did they take him. She smelled about 7 different types of sent including Dan’s and it all headed directly to the woods.

She called her mother “mom I found Danny’s sent its leading to the woods, it’s about 5 houses down ours. Im going to find him” she said. “ Scarlet wait don’t go in alone, its dangerous. You don’t have your wolf to protect you.” her mother said. “ he’s my husband! im going to find him! I don’t care about my wolf.” she closed the call before her mother could say anything and took off in to the woods, following  Dan’s sent. “I’ll find you Danny, I’ll make them pay for what they did.” she said to herself.
