Hey Angel ~ Julie and the Phantoms8,427 words~43 min read

Back at the Hollywood Ghost Club, Luke and Reggie are talking to a man wearing a black suit and a woman in a white wig wearing a black and white dress. Luke is looking at Reggie with his arms crossed as the Peters boy heartbrokenly asks with tears building up in his eyes, "They made eight more Star Wars movies, and they killed Han Solo?" Luke heavily sighs, tilting his head back as the man and woman look at each other, their mouths wide open, not realising that they just basically destroyed the raven haired boy's world. The woman puts her hand to her mouth before the man looks back to Reggie. Luke turns his attention to Reggie as does the woman, once she removes her hand from her mouth. Reggie rhetorically asks, looking between the group, "What kind of future is this?"

Reggie groans in frustration as he storms off. Luke moves forward about to go after Reggie with his mouth held open. He instead licks his lips and turns back to the couple and tells them, holding out his arms and looking between them, "We found out, like, two weeks ago, okay? We just didn't have the heart to tell him." He glances in the direction Reggie stormed off, making sure the boy wasn't around before turning back to the couple and begging them, "But just please don't mention Jar Jar."

Meanwhile, Willie and Alex are sitting at the table, talking to each other. "That was one crazy show," Alex tells Willie as he waves his hands around. Willie smiles at the blonde, who gestures to the people in the room and asks, "So I'm guessing all these lifers are, like, sworn to secrecy or something?"

"Or... something," Willie hesitates as he looks off into space. He looks back at Alex and says, "Yeah. Let's just say Caleb's offered everyone here, with their membership," He gestures to the lifers. Alex looks to them before looking back to Willie, who continues, "The opportunity to experience this for eternity." He shrugs his shoulders and adds, "And they've all happily accepted."

Alex looks away from Willie to look around at the people in the room. Alex leans closer to Willie and asks him, not taking his eyes away from the people having fun, "And all these ghosts, they just wanna, like, party forever and never cross over?"

He looks back to Willie, who replies, "I mean, yeah, man." Willie leans back and waves his arms around as he adds, "Why would you wanna cross over," he leans forward, proceeding to wave his hands around as he continues, "When you can just... hang out and, you know... do this forever?" Alex glances away before looking back at Willie, smiling and nodding his head. Luke turns around and notices the two staring at each other. "There's a lot to, um... like here," Willie says before he gets up and leaves, while Alex watches the long haired boy walk away.

Luke smirks and walks over to Alex as the couple he had been talking to sit back down at their table. Luke climbs on top of his chair as he talks, causing the blonde to turn and look at him while the brown haired boy keeps his eyes on Willie, "Oh, you got a crush on Willie." He glances at Alex before looking back to where Willie went.

Alex throws up his hand and looks to the place where Willie walked off to and quickly denies, "What? No." Luke looks at Alex, who turns his head and looks at the table while he continues to deny it, "No, man, no. We're just-"

Luke chuckles as he cuts the boy off, "Alex," The blond looks up at Luke, who nods his head and says, "I'm happy for you." He chuckles again, which causes Alex to smile.

Reggie walks up to the two boys and exasperatedly tells them, waving his hands around, "You guys are not going to believe this," Alex and Luke look up at Reggie, who continues, "But someone just told me they added a character named Jar Jar. What's a Jar Jar?" Alex and Luke look at each other, internally sighing at the fact that Reggie now knows about Jar Jar Binks.

Caleb walks up to the three boys and holds his hands out as he asks them, "I take it you boys are enjoying yourselves?" Reggie fixes his jacket while Alex and Luke stand up out of their chairs.

Luke responds, "Yeah, I mean, you'd have to be insane to have a bad time here." Reggie and Alex, who is smiling, look over at Luke before they all look at Caleb.

Caleb throws out his arms and looks around the club while saying, "Well, entertainment is our specialty." He looks back to the boys and claps his hands together. He holds out his hands, gesturing to them as he adds, "So now, I understand there's something I can help you with." He looks between the three boys as he folds his hands.

Reggie nods his head and Luke looks over to the bassist, as he starts talking, "Yeah, we hope so." Alex looks over at Reggie, who glances at Luke before looking back to Covington and continues, "There's an old buddy of ours who ripped us off big time, and we wanna make things right."

Luke agrees with Reggie and turns to Caleb, "Yeah." Alex looks over at the brown haired boy, who continues, "We wanna look at him in the eyes and make him admit to what he did to us." He gently hits his fist on the table before removing it while Reggie subtly nods his head.

Alex looks over to the man in purple and holds out his hand while saying, "So if you could make us visible, that would be perfect."

Caleb chuckles and scratches the side of his nose before he holds up his hands and throws them toward the boys while saying, "Well, sure, I could do that," he holds his hands out to the side, "But we're at a party. Why focus on those who have wronged us when we're among friends?" He holds his hand out to the boys and continues, "Now, I understand that the three of you are talented musicians." Reggie shrugs as Caleb goes on, "I doubt... your dream is to settle a score."

Caleb pauses before looking over at Luke, smiling while theorizing, "No, your dreams are bigger than that! You're like me," he points to himself with both hands. He points at the boys and looks between them while adding on, "Born to perform your music in front of," he waves his arms, "Sold out crowds." Covington lifts his hand and snaps his fingers. The man in white appears with a chair. Caleb moves forward and gestures to the boys while telling them, "Please sit." The man in white places the chair behind Caleb and the man in purple sits down on it.

Alex and Reggie sit down while Luke brings over a chair, the back of it resting against the table and the guitarist takes a seat on it. Luke crosses his arms and leans on the table while the three of them are looking at Caleb, who is holding up his pointer finger at them and says, "What if I were to tell you," he waves his hand, "That with a wave of my hand," Reggie quickly glances over at Alex, who has his arms crossed over the table.

Luke sits up straight and rests his arms on the back of the chair. Reggie looks back to Caleb, who holds out his hands, continuing, "You could share the spotlight with me..." He points to himself again with both of his hands before he finishes, "And join my house band?" He points at the boys before he leans back into his seat, awaiting their answer.

Luke chuckles lightly as he glances at the two other boys. Reggie looks at Luke before looking to Alex, who turns his head and looks at Luke, smiling. Luke looks back at Caleb and tells him, gesturing to the boys, "We... We already have a band." A smiling Reggie and Alex look to Caleb.

The man dressed in purple holds his hands up and gestures to Luke as he says, "Yes." He moves his hands and gestures them to Reggie and says again, "Yes." He looks between the three of them and continues, holding out his hands to them, "But when you're done performing, you disappear. You cease to exist." Covington pauses and the smiles fall off of the boys' faces. Caleb continues, "No bows. No... no soaking up the applause." He closes his eyes and holds his fists close to his chest.

He opens his eyes back up, looking at Luke and adding, "No real connection with the audience. Yeah? Here," He throws out his hands and looks around the club. He looks back to the boys and says, "The audience knows what you are," he holds his arms out, gesturing to the boys once more, "And more importantly," he throws his arms out "They know how special you are." He looks over to Luke, who is looking back at him with his mouth opening and closing, thinking of something to say as he plays with the ring on his pointer finger.

Luke raises his eyebrows and looks over at Reggie and Alex, who are already looking at him. Luke holds out his hands before he folds his hands again while saying, "Well, it could be cool to play here." The boy grins at his two best friends.

Caleb leans forward and tells them, holding out his hands and looking between each of them, "Oh, it... it's not just here." The three boys look over at the man. Caleb leans back in his seat and glances behind him at the people dancing before looking back at the boys and adding while waving his hands around, "We party like this all over the world. Tonight, Hollywood. Tomorrow, Paris."

Reggie stares at Covington with wide eyes as he dreamily says, "Ooh là là!"

Caleb waves around his hands and says, "It is... all of your dreams come true... forever." The three boys just stare at him as he holds out his hands, awaiting for their answer. The man in white comes and stands behind Caleb as he nods his head and gestures to the boys as he gives in, "I'm gonna give you some time to think about it." He stands up and the man in white takes the chair away. Caleb turns to leave before he turns back to the boys, pointing at them as he says, "Oh, by the way, make sure you try the sliders. They're to die for." The three ghosts stare up at him in confusion as he turns around and walks away.

Coming to a realization, Reggie points to the table and clarifies, "W-W-We can eat?"

Luke turns his head and looks at Reggie as Caleb turns around and replies, "Here you can." He turns and walks away but not before snapping his fingers. Three servers appear, carrying three trays filled with food. One tray is filled with sliders, some with cheese and some without. The second tray is filled with meatball subs and the last tray is filled with slices of pizza. The boys stare at the food, jaws dropped and mouths watering. The servers set the trays down onto the table.

Reggie grabs a meatball sub and Luke reaches out his hand to grab a slider while saying, "Oh yea-"

He is cut off when Alex grabs his arm and shouts as he stares at the sliders, "Wait!" Reggie freezes, the meatball sub in his mouth and Luke looks longingly at the sliders. Alex looks up at Luke, who looks back at him before saying, "I want the one without cheese." He grabs a slider without cheese and lets go of Luke's arm. Reggie digs into the meatball sub and Luke retracts his hand and grabs two slices of pizza instead. Luke and Alex eat their food as Reggie puts the sub down and grabs a slice of pizza.

Luke puts the pizza slice that he bit into in the hand that is holding his other slice as he reaches over the table and grabs a slider as Alex lets out a groan at how good the food tastes. Reggie starts mumbling as he grabs a slider and Luke takes a bite of his own. Alex reaches over the table and grabs a slice of pizza and says through the food in his mouth, "I just want a little bit." He puts the entire slice of pizza in his mouth as Luke mumbles. Putting the slider in the hand that is also holding two slices of pizza.

Luke grabs a meatball sub and asks, "Are these good too?" Reggie mumbles due to the abundance of food in his mouth as he points to the slider he is eating before pointing at the tray that contains the sliders. Luke takes a bite of the meatball that is in the sub and says, "This is a meatball sub!"

Alex points at the tray filled with pizza and says, "Oh, pizza."

Luke's eyes widen as he shouts, "Oh my God!"

•••

At the dance, Angelina is pacing back and forth, clutching onto the heart shaped locket that Alex had gotten her. Julie is sitting on the ground, playing with the cord to the 'projector' that she uses for her 'hologram' band. Flynn walks over to her best friend and grabs onto the curtain while saying, "I can only stall for so long." Julie looks up at her best friend and sees the distressed blonde ghost pacing back and forth in front of her. Flynn continues, "It's eleven o'clock." She gestures to Julie before suggesting, "I think you should just play by yourself. I mean, holograms or no holograms, you'll be amazing."

Julie throws out her arm and exasperatedly says, "You saw me the other day. I can't play without them." She rests her hand on the ground next to her.

Angelina stops pacing and lets go of the locket. She looks at Julie and tries to comfort her, "You are amazing Julsie. You don't need us to be the amazing singer that I know you are."

Julie looks at Angelina and gives her a tight lipped smile before she tells the ghost, "Thanks, Angie. But I can't go on without you guys." Flynn glances to the empty space where Angelina is standing before she looks back to her best friend. Angelina sighs and turns her head from the girl. Julie looks to Flynn and assures her, "They'll be here. They have to."

Flynn taps her wrist signifying the time before she walks back to the turntables on stage. She shouts into the microphone, "Lookin' good, Bobcats!" Angelina turns her head and sees a blonde boy wearing a hat enter the backstage area.

The blonde ghost looks to Julie and tells her, "You have company so I'm going to go hover by Flynn." Instead of looking at the blonde girl, Julie just slightly nods her head. Angelina heads over to the turntables where Flynn is jamming out with the headphones lifted up to her ear. She stands next to Julie's best friend and on her other side is a grand piano that just happens to be sitting on the stage. The blonde ghost starts to nod her head and dance a little to the music when all of a sudden, a jolt shocks through the girl. She stops dancing and cries out in pain, putting a hand over her chest. When the pain passes, she wraps her hand around the angel wing necklace and hopes that the boys would just suddenly appear next to her.

A few minutes later, Flynn grabs the microphone off the stand and pushes the stand toward Angelina. Flynn turns her head and notices the boy wearing the hat has rushed onto the stage. He grabs the microphone off of Flynn and speaks into it, causing Angelina to look over at him, "Hey, everybody!" The music stops and everyone stops dancing, all eyes turning to the boy. Flynn gives the boy a 'what the hell?' look as he tells the crowd, lifting his arm in the air, "We fixed the hologram thing." He puts his arm down as he asks, "Who wants to see a show? Come on." He brings his hands up, trying to get the crowd to cheer, which they do.

Flynn backs up and stands next to the piano, leaning against it. Angelina looks confused before she turns her head to Julie giving her a puzzled look. The Molina girl just shrugs her shoulders back at the ghost girl. Julie grabs onto the curtain and peaks out from behind it to look at the audience. Once she sees the crowd cheering, her eyes widen and her mouth drops, knowing that she is majorly screwed.

Hat boy holds out his arm as he introduces, "Now... give it up..." he raises his arm, his hand doing the rock on sign and shouts, "For Julie and the Phantoms!" He moves the mic away from his mouth and puts down his arm. He immediately puts both hands in the air and cheers along with the crowd. He turns and beckons Julie to come on stage, telling her, "Come on! Come on." Julie reluctantly and awkwardly walks onto the stage. When she reaches hat boy, he hands her the mic and says, "Here you go."

She takes it from him and he walks away from the turntables. Julie makes eye contact with Angelina, who sends her a look that asks her if the boys made it. Julie subtly shakes her head, letting the blonde know that her brother and his best friends are still not here. The young Molina turns to the crowd, awkwardly smiling. She chuckles and says, "Uh..." She lifts her hand and greets, "Hi." There is scattered laughter throughout the room and Angelina looks out at the crowd, glaring at some of them, even if they couldn't see her.

"So here's the thing..." Julie says as she awkwardly chuckles. In the background, Flynn throws out her hands before she folds them back together. Julie continues, "Even though we got the machine fixed, thanks to Nick..." She gestures to the boy, who is standing in front of the stage, looking up at Julie. The crowd lets out loud cheers for the boy in that hat who fixed the hologram machine. Nick turns his head and looks to the crowd, nodding his head at them. He turns back to Julie, who holds out her hand and informs the crowd, "I can't seem to link up with the band. Wifi, am I right?" The crowd just stares at the girl.

Angelina leans over to Julie and tells her, "Just do the performance by yourself, sweetie. You are outstanding even if the boys and I aren't there with you." Julie looks down at the turntable and is quiet for a minute. Flynn looks to her best friend, not knowing what the Molina girl is going to do next.

She looks up and out to the crowd before apologizing, to the people in the crowd and to Angelina, "I'm sorry, but... I'm gonna have to cancel." Angelina sighs and looks down at the ground, her anger growing immensely toward the three ghost boys who just 'ghosted' Julie.

The students gasp and people in the crowd shout out in protest and frustration. Nick gives Julie a sad look before looking down at the ground. Carrie walks up to the stairs of the stage before she walks up them. When she gets to the top, she says, "Um... Anybody know the heimlich? Julie's choking." She looks over at Julie, who looks back at her with a blank expression. Flynn looks at Carrie and Angelina glares at the mean girl. The students all start to laugh.

Carrie scoffs and walks over to Julie, saying, "Only one way to save this dance." Flynn walks closer to Julie, staying close to the piano, which just so happens to be next to Angelina. Carrie walks over to Julie and rips the microphone out of her hands, causing Julie to take a few steps back as Bobby's evil daughter asks the crowd, "Who wants to see Dirty Candy?" The crowd cheers and Carrie moves her hand to touch the soundboard on the turntable.

Flynn leans forward, through Angelina, and puts her hand over the knob Carrie was headed for, letting out, "Oh!" Carrie turns to Flynn and Julie looks at her best friend, who breaks the knob. She leans back, no longer going through Angelina and holds up the knob saying, "Oops! Knob's broken." The crowd lets out loud groans.

Carrie gives Flynn her mean girl face as she says, "Okay. Two can play at this game." She turns to the crowd and announces, "Party at my house!" The crowd cheers and laughs. Carrie glares over at Flynn before she lifts up her arm with the mic and drops it onto the table. Julie stares at the mic with her mouth hung open and Flynn gives Carrie a 'what the hell?' look as she huffs.

Angelina holds out her hands and leans forward, still glaring at Carrie and muttering over and over again under her breath, "Nobody will know. No one will ever be able to find out." Carrie turns around and walks off.

Angelina moves forward to go after the girl, but Julie whispers so only Angelina and Flynn could hear, "She's not worth it, Angie. Besides, you can't even touch her." Angelina heavily sighs and drops her hands, looking after Carrie with a murderous glare.

Julie turns her head and looks at Carrie, who is standing at the top of the stairs, holding out her hand to Nick. Julie moves forward and stands in between Angelina and Flynn. The boy looks to Julie, who gives him a tight lipped smile and a knowing nod. Nick looks away from Julie and grabs Carrie's hand before he turns around, helping the evil girl down the stairs. Carrie waves to the audience, who cheers and follows after her and her boyfriend.

The three girls watch the room clear out. Flynn looks over to Julie and gives her a sad smile. Julie looks to Flynn before looking back out at the emptying room with a dejected look. Flynn wraps her arm around Julie's shoulder and the three girls walk to the stairs as Flynn says, "Well, that kind of backfired." They notice a small boy standing up in the back of the room and holding out his hand to a girl extremely taller than him. She takes his hand and stands up.

They walk to the middle of the dance floor and start to slow dance, both of them swaying an arms length away from each other. Flynn gestures to them and says, "Oh, I mean, the whole night wasn't a bust." Julie looks over at Flynn who continues, "The new guy found someone." She looks over at her best friend before the two of them look back at the pair. They look back at each other before Flynn exclaims, "Little man has game!" Angelina lets out a laugh and Flynn looks back at the two slow dancing. Julie chuckles and rests her head on Flynn's shoulder.

•••

Willie has rejoined the boys at their table while Luke, who is no longer wearing his jacket, and Reggie have somehow ended up switching seats. Willie is currently watching the boys eat the last of the food that was brought to the table. Alex is eating a slider and Luke is eating pizza while Reggie is kissing his meatball sub with his eyes closed. Luke looks at his pizza and says, "Oh, pizza! Man, I missed you!" He takes another bite of the pizza slice.

Alex looks over at Reggie and asks, "Reg, are you kissing that meatball sub?" They all look over at the raven haired boy, who stops kissing his sub and looks up at them.

"It's what you do with the things you love," Reggie defends himself.

Covington speaks out to the crowd, "I take it you're all enjoying the feast?" The crowd cheers and the four ghost boys look over at the man dressed in purple. Alex puts down his slider and looks around at the crowd and Willie turns to look at the blonde drummer. Reggie puts the sub down on his plate and wipes his hands on the tablecloth that is covering the table before he turns to Covington. Willie and Alex look back at Caleb, who says, "So many delicious sights, so many tantalizing sounds. But... your eyes still hunger for more."

Reggie smiles and Luke nods his head, still eating his pizza. Caleb adds, "Something sweet." The crowd cheers out as the man turns and walks over to the band. Willie glances at Alex, smiling before he looks back to Caleb. The man stops walking as he turns around and says to the crowd, "Something... savory." The crowd laughs and he continues walking over to a grand piano. He climbs on top of it as he asks, "How many newcomers do we have in the club tonight?"

People cheer and raise their hands. Willie turns to Alex and hits the blonde's chest, nodding at him. Alex turns his attention back to Caleb and raises his hand along with Luke and Reggie. Caleb looks over to the band and calls, "Ladies... " he gestures to the crowd, "Let's show our guests how we do dessert." The crowd cheers as Caleb shouts, "A one, two, three, four!" The band starts to play and dancers dance to the music. Caleb lays down on the piano and looks at the girl playing it as he lets out, "Ha!" The four ghosts dance in their seats. Caleb starts to sing, still reclined on the piano and waving his hand around.

The dancers and the crowd join Caleb in singing, including Willie, Alex, Luke, and Reggie. The man in purple sits up on the piano.

Willie gets out of his seat and Alex stares at the boy, who starts to dance with the dancers.

Alex, Luke, and Reggie dance in their seats, smiling at each other.

Caleb and the two dancers walk down the stairs of the stage.

Where you won't be misunderstood

Life is good on the other side of Hollywood

Willie does a flip and lets out, "Woo-hoo-hoo-hoo!" Caleb joins the group of Dancers and slides the dancer in pink under his legs. She hops up right in front of the man in purple. Willie heads over to the boys and pulls Alex out of his seat, causing the blonde to put a hand on the table and jump over Willie's chair. Reggie hops out of his seat and Luke gets out of his. Luke looks around the crowd, trying to find Angelina so he can dance with the girl. The pink dancer dances around Alex and Reggie, spinning the raven haired boy before she dances over to Luke, spinning around with the Patterson boy before she lifts up her leg, causing Reggie and Alex back away. The dancer puts her leg down and takes Reggie's hands, shimmying down to the floor with her back to him.

Alex and Willie are laughing with each other and Luke continues to look for the blonde haired ghost who always seems to be stuck in his mind. The dancer stands back up and she turns around to face Reggie, running her hand along the side of his face. She turns and dances away as the raven haired boy groans lightly, fainting. Alex rushes forward and Luke spins around, catching Reggie as he shouts out to Alex, "Whoa, Whoa, catch him!" Luke lifts Reggie up and pushes him into Alex's arms, causing the boy to spin right out of the drummer's grasp.

When Reggie is standing upright, Alex asks the boy, "You good?" Alex looks forward and sees Caleb, spinning the two blue dancers into the arms of Luke and Reggie.

The dancer with Luke spins him around, causing him to let out, "Oh? Whoa!" The other blue dancer pushes Reggie away from the group. The two dancers start to dance with the two boys, however, Luke is still looking around the club, trying to find Angelina.

Caleb walks forward and tells the blonde, "Come now. You can't be the only one at the party not dancing."

"No, I... I know. I'm just... I'm looking for Willie," the blonde stutters as he gestures to the crowd before he turns and looks for the long haired boy.

Caleb holds out his hands and shouts, "Dante, Fuego..." Alex turns back to Covington as two men come up behind the blonde, standing on either side of him. The blonde looks at the man in the pink blazer as Caleb introduces him, "Meet Alex." The two men wrap their arms around Alex's as the Mercer boy looks over at the other man. "You're welcome," Caleb tells the boy as the two men grab Alex's legs. Caleb ducks as the men lift Alex up and take him to the dance floor, the blonde chuckles, shouting out, "Whoa!" When Caleb stands back up, he starts to sing again.

Caleb

Life is good on the other side of Hollywood

Willie is off to the side, singing along and clapping to the music. He makes eye contact with Caleb, who makes a gesture with his thumb, causing the boy to stop dancing and the smile to fall off of his face. Caleb slides out of the way and Alex can be seen dancing with Dante and Fuego.

Life is good on the other side of Hollywood

When Alex sees Willie, he stops dancing and beckons the boy over, saying, "Come on." Instead of joining him, Willie walks off. Dante and Fuego start dancing with Alex again, not letting the boy go after Willie.

So welcome to the brotherhood

Where you won't be misunderstood

The two blue haired girls dancing with Reggie and Luke switch, so that they are dancing with the other boy. Luke continues to look around for Angelina, wondering where she could be.

Life is good on the other side of Hollywood

Caleb runs up the stairs of the stage and continues singing.

Of Hollywood

Of Hollywood

The two girls dip Reggie and Luke.

Ain't it something?

Dante and Fuego dip Alex as the performers shout, "Yeah!" The crowd cheers while Luke and Reggie laugh. The two girls let Reggie and Luke stand back up, letting them go before they join the crowd in clapping. Caleb holds out his arms, smiling and takes a bow. He stands up and gestures to the band, causing the crowd to cheer and whistle for them. Caleb faces the crowd once more and the clock strikes midnight.

Caleb holds out his hands and looks around at the crowd, saying, "Oh! The haunting hour is upon us."

Everyone lifts up their arms and let out spooky noises, "Oo-ooh!" Caleb waves his arm and the music kicks back up again. The crowd cheers and starts to dance again. Reggie is slow dancing with his dancer and Luke is dancing with his, still looking for the girl he is crushing on. Caleb is sitting on the platform by the band, dancing to the music.

In his search for Angelina, Luke's eyes come across the giant clock and takes notice of the time. Realizing how late it is, the boy stops dancing and walks forward before he shouts, "Twelve?" The girl walks over to the brown haired boy and grabs his chin, trying to pull his attention to her. Luke chuckles as he says, "How... How'd that happen?" He looks to the girl and apologizes, "I'm sorry. Dude!" He starts hitting Reggie's shoulder, who swats the guitarist away. He calls out to Reggie again, "Dude! Dude, we lost track of time..." Luke says as he pulls Reggie's shoulder.

The raven haired boy turns to the brown haired boy and scolds, "Not right now, man." He turns back to the dancer and continues to slow dance with her. Luke turns to Reggie and huffs before he moves forward, wrapping his arms around the boy's waist. He picks him up and moves him away from the girl as he shouts, "Reggie!"

Reggie flaps his arms and exclaims, "Hey, what the..." Luke sets Reggie down and the raven haired boy abruptly turns to face Luke. The girl that was dancing with Luke walks over to the other girl and they stand next to each other, looking at Luke and Reggie.

The distraught boy explains, "We were supposed to be at Julie's school at nine."

Realizing what Luke is saying, Reggie sighs, staring off into space, "Oh shoot. That's right." He whips his head back to Luke and says, "Uh, maybe we can still make it." Realizing that Alex is nowhere to be seen, he looks around, asking, "Where's Alex?"

Alex shouts, "Up here."

Not seeing the boy, he shouts, "Alex, we forgot..." Realizing they heard Alex's voice, the two boys look up to the ring hanging from the ceiling and find Alex sitting on it.

Alex cuts Reggie off, "Julie. I know. This place is..." The ring is slowly turning and Alex's back is to the boys. He tells them, "One sec." Luke makes a frustrated face and waves his arms, signalling Alex to go faster. The blonde swings his legs back and forth, trying to get the ring to move faster. Once he is facing the boys again, he says, "This place is some kind of time warp."

Luke shouts up to the boy, "Poof down here, bro. We gotta get going." Reggie nods his head in agreement and Luke frantically points to the exit. Once Alex poofs down next to them, the boys start to run for the exit, but not before Luke grabs his jacket.

As they are running past the tables toward the stairs, Reggie shouts out as Alex is quite literally dragging the Peters boy behind him, "Yeah, ah... I can't... Ow!"

When the trio reach the stairs, Covington poofs in front of them, asking, "Gentlemen, what's the rush?" The three boys stop in front of Caleb, who continues, "The party's just getting started," he gestures to the three of them, "And you have an eternity, after all."

Luke puts on his jacket, looking at Reggie and Alex smiles while Reggie explains, "You know that girl that can see us?" Alex looks over at the raven haired boy, who continues, waving his arms around, "We sort of bailed on her. See, there's this dance at her school tonight," Luke and Alex look back to Caleb, "And she's got this friend Flynn, who is like a super cool DJ," the two boys look back to Reggie, "like-" He starts making noises as he puts his hand over his ear and pretends he is spinning a record on the turntable.

Alex cuts Reggie off as Luke rolls up his sleeves, "Okay, I don't think he has an eternity to hear the story."

Luke turns to Caleb and throws out his arms to the side, saying, "Basically, we're late for a gig." Luke puts his arms down as Alex and Reggie turn back to Caleb.

The man dressed in purple looks between the three ghosts, holding out his hands and asking, "But what about my offer?"

Luke speaks up as Alex nods his head, "It's very cool of you, Mr. Covington, but, like I said, we already have a-"

Alex turns to Luke as Covington cuts the guitarist off, "A band of your own." He waves his hands at them before continuing, "I understand."

The three boys smile at him and Alex lets out, "Okay."

Luke furrows his brows and looks around, still not seeing Angelina. He turns back to Caleb and asks him, "Oh! You haven't seen Angelina anywhere, have you?" Alex looks around, not realizing that he hasn't seen his sister in quite awhile. Reggie gives Luke a puzzled look, before remembering that the girl was with them at the beginning of the night.

Fake realization crosses Covington's face as he tells them, "Oh, she left a couple minutes after nine. She told me to tell you that she was leaving. I didn't think it was important and I guess I just forgot."

Shock appears on their faces and Alex takes a step forward, asking in frustration, "You forgot?"

Caleb shrugs and says, "It's hard running this place, boys. I've got to pay the bills and make sure everyone is having a good time. I have been so busy tonight and it just slipped my mind."

Luke awkwardly smiles and says, "Okay." Reggie looks over at the two boys before throwing up his hands and looking down to the ground.

The three boys walk forward and Caleb stops them, "Oh, boys..." The three of them stop once more and Caleb continues, "If you ever wanna come back and fix that little problem with your friend, the Hollywood Ghost Club is always open."

The three boys smile at the man and Luke replies, causing the other two boys to look over at him, "Yeah, man, we'd love to come back."

"Ah! Music to my ears," Caleb tells them as they turn their attention back to him. He holds out his hand to Luke, who smiles and grabs the man's hand. A sizzling sound is heard and Luke furrows his brows. Luke looks down at his wrist, seeing the HGC mark on it as Caleb moves over to Alex, who takes the hand as well. The mark appears on Alex, who looks down at his wrist in confusion. Luke looks over at Alex to see he has the mark as well and Caleb finally moves over to Reggie, the same happening to the raven haired boy. Luke looks back at his wrist and Reggie furrows his brows, looking down at the mark on his arm. They fade, purple smoke coming off of them. Caleb sees their concern and assures them, "Oh, it's just a little club stamp."

Luke looks up at Caleb and Alex rubs his thumb over where the mark was on his wrist. Reggie looks up at the man and says, "Cool." Luke shakes his hand and Alex looks up at Caleb, smiling at him.

Caleb nods his head and looks between them, saying, "Until next time." He holds out his arm, making room for the boys to walk past him.

Luke chuckles, moving past Caleb as he throws up a hang loose hand sign. Caleb chuckles ominously at the brown haired boy, who says, "Peace." Caleb watches the boy leave before turning back to the other two boys.

Alex smiles and Reggie says, "See you around." The raven haired boy lets out a smarmy chuckle like Caleb had just done. Alex looks over at Reggie, giving him a 'what the hell?' look before hitting the boy's arm. Reggie stops chuckling and looks over at Alex, and defensively states, gesturing to Caleb, "What? That's what he just did."

"Dude," Alex whispers to Reggie, who turns to Caleb and shrugs before running off, after Luke. Caleb watches Reggie leave out of the corner of his eye before he looks back to Alex.

The blonde watches his friend leave before he turns back to Covington and chuckles, "Um... Uh, if Willie asks, uh, not that he would, but if he does, will you let him know that I was looking for him?" Caleb subtly nods and Alex chuckles again, "Thanks." The blonde walks away and Caleb watches him go, smiling.

Willie rushes over to Caleb, watching Alex leave before turning to the man and timidly saying, "Um... Caleb?" Caleb looks down at the ground, brows raised as Willie continues, "You never said you were gonna... use your stamp. You know what that'll do to them."

Caleb looks over at Willie before he says, "Of course I do, William, but they're too powerful. I need them working for me." Caleb throws out his hands and says, "Now they'll have no option but to accept my invitation." He walks forward and pats the side of Willie's head before walking off. Willie turns, watching Caleb walk away and he immediately starts to regret introducing the four ghosts to Caleb.

•••

Angelina, Julie, and Flynn are sitting in the back of the gym, popping balloons. Julie stops and shakes her head, saying, "I can never show my face at this school again."

Angelina stops popping the balloons that are by Julie.

Flynn also stops and turns to her best friend, sighing, "That's what we get for depending on boys." Julie puts her hand over her face and Flynn shakes her head.

Angelina scoffs, shaking her head and looking down at her nails, "Tell me about it."

Julie sighs, throwing out her hand, "I don't know if I should be mad or worried. They're ghosts. I don't know what kind of trouble they can get into." She turns, looking at her best friend and Angelina lets out a loud sigh, shaking her head at how stupid those three boys are.

Flynn turns to Julie, holding out her hands, saying, "I'ma get us some ice cream from the cafeteria." She lightly chuckles, holding up her hand that has the keys in it as she remarks, "Fools gave me the keys." She playfully rolls her eyes as she looks back to Julie, causing Angelina to let out a loud laugh. Flynn gets up and tells her best friend, "We can crash at my place and forget about this whole nightmare. Angie can come with us too, she probably doesn't want to look at their gorgeous but stupid faces." Angelina lets out a laugh and nods her head while Julie chuckles at her best friend.

Flynn turns and pops a balloon that is next to her head. She turns to Julie and chuckles before she walks off to the cafeteria. Julie watches her leave before she shouts, "Get me two... of everything."

Angelina looks over at the girl and says, "If I were able to touch you, I would give you the biggest hug and I would never let go."

Julie smiles and lets out a chuckle, "Thanks, Angie. You always know how to make me feel better." Angelina gives the girl a bright smile.

The blonde's smile falls when she hears the door open and Reggie shouts, "Julie, we are ready to rock this dance," they stop in the middle of the room, when they notice it's empty, "Which is clearly over." Luke turns around, looking for Julie and Angelina while Reggie exhales sharply as he looks around. When Alex notices the two girls, he nudges Luke, who turns around and sees the two sitting on the floor. Reggie looks over at Luke and turns his head to see what the boy is looking at.

Julie and Angelina stand up, the former putting her hands in her pockets and the latter crossing her arms over her chest, giving them unimpressed looks. The three boys walk forward as Luke says, "Look, we are... so, so sorry that we bailed on you."

Alex looks at the girls and agrees, "Yeah, I mean, the night really got away from us."

"And the twins," Reggie adds out of the corner of his mouth. Luke turns to Reggie and hits his shoulder giving him a 'shut up' look as the raven haired boy gives Luke a 'what?' look. A deep glare finds its way onto Angelina's face and Alex looks over at the two boys.

Julie sighs and looks between them begging, "Just please tell me it had nothing to do with you getting back at Carrie's dad."

Reggie and Alex look at each other as Luke says, "Pfft! Of course not. No. No."

At the same time, Reggie denies in a high pitched voice, "No! We wouldn't do that."

Alex looks at Julie, also saying in a high pitched voice at the same time as the other two ghosts, "Us? No."

Julie throws out her arms and asks, "Seriously? You're lying to me?"

Angelina glares at them saying, "You guys are horrible liars." The three of them stare at the two girls with shame on their faces. They open their mouths and look at each other, trying to think of what to say.

They turn back to Julie and Angelina, Alex waves around his arm, saying, "Okay, look, it was something we needed to do." Angelina rolls her eyes. This band and more importantly, Julie should be more important than getting revenge on Bobby, which is something they have the rest of his life for.

Luke steps forward as he speaks up, "B-But we'll do whatever it takes. We'll play the next school-"

Julie cuts him off, "What? Another dance where you can bail on me and make me look like a fool?" Luke takes a step back and they look at her with regret written across their faces. Julie shakes her head and continues, "Save it. You know what really sucks? Our songs were good."

Angelina's glare falls off her face and she takes a step closer to Julie, who continues, looking between the trio, "And all three of you knew what I've been through, and how tough it's been for me to play, and then you do this? At least Angie was there for me, where were you?" Angelina takes another step forward and stands next to the upset girl, who adds, looking between the three ghosts, "Bands don't do that to each other. Friends don't do that to each other. This was a mistake."

Luke's brows furrow as he takes a step forward, asking, "You mean the school dance, right?" Alex looks over to Reggie.

"No," Julie sharply replies, looking at Luke. She looks at the other two boys, continuing, "I mean joining a band with you guys." Julie turns and runs off, heading straight for the doors that the boys had entered through just moments before.

Luke moves to follow the girl, sadly saying, "Julie..." He stops following after the girl and trails off when she starts running faster.

Angelina takes a few steps after the girl and calls, "Julie!" The boys turn and look at Angelina, who is looking at where Julie has just disappeared from with extreme sadness across her face.

Reggie is the first one to speak up, "Are you mad at us, Ang?"

Angelina looks over at the three boys, who are awaiting her answer. The anger that she had built up towards them dissipated. She sighs and says, "No." The three boys sigh in relief and small smiles cross their faces. Angelina shakes her head and continues, "I'm not mad. I'm just disappointed in you three." The smiles fall from their faces and it feels like they have just taken a knife to the heart. The blonde girl has never ever been disappointed with them.

The blonde girl adds, "You guys knew how much this meant to her and you guys let her down. And by doing that, you let me down." Angelina takes a few steps back away from them and it feels like more knives have been stabbed in their hearts. The blonde sighs, "I can't even look at you guys right now." A few tears fall from her eyes and without another word, the girl turns and rushes out of the room in the direction that Julie had gone.

Luke turns and shouts after the girl, seeing her in tears, "Angel, I'm sorry. Angel!" Angelina ignores the boy and leaves the room, trying to find Julie.

Alex is looking down at the ground and Reggie turns to the blonde, shock on his face as he says, "Well, if... if Julie's," he gestures to the direction Julie and Angelina left, "Not in the band, then..."

Luke turns around and finishes as a stray tear runs down his face, knowing that he made Angelina upset, "There is no band." The same jolt that went through Angelina goes through the three boys. The three of them stumble back as they groan out in pain, each of them grabbing their chests.

They slowly stand up straight as Alex looks around, asking, "What was that?"

The blonde looks over at Reggie, who says, "It felt like we were dying all over again." Reggie puts his hand back down to his side while Alex rubs his chest, trying to ease the pain and Luke keeps a hand over his.

Reggie and Alex look over at Luke, who looks between the two, asking, "How can we die if we're already dead?" Reggie shrugs his shoulders and slightly throws up his hands, showing that he has no idea.
