When Angelina found Julie and Flynn, the three girls went to Flynn's house. They stayed up for a couple more hours, talking before the two lifers fell asleep. Since ghosts don't necessarily need to sleep, Angelina left Flynn's house and stayed in Julie's room, refusing to go to the studio since the boys are most likely there. To occupy her time, she continued reading the third Harry Potter book that she had started earlier in the week. When she isn't writing songs with Julie, Luke, or by herself, she reads the magical series to pass the time.
When she finishes Prisoner of Azkaban, it is the late morning and Angelina figures that it is finally time to go to the studio and confront the three boys. When she poofs into the studio, she looks around, calling out, "Hello? Alex? Reggie? Luke?" She pauses and when she doesn't get an answer she calls out again, "Anybody?" Not getting an answer, the girl lets out a heavy sigh. The same jolt that she felt last night at the dance goes through her once more. She stumbles back and lets out a gasp in pain, clutching her chest. When the pain subsides, she stands up, gasping for air and asking herself, "What is going on?"
Instead of waiting for the three boys to get back to the studio, Angelina decides to just hang out with Julie while she is at school. The blonde poofs away to the school and finds Julie as she adjusts the jacket that she is wearing over her white tube top. While there, she finds out that Julie slept in and missed her first three classes this morning since Flynn thought the girl was serious when she said she could never show her face at school again.
Angelina also learns that the lacrosse team has to dance with Julie's dance class, which means the girl has to dance with her crush, Nick, who just broke up with the devil. Angelina didn't really get a good look at the boy last night at the dance because her mind was way too preoccupied with the boys and the jolt she has experienced twice now. Julie asks Angelina if the blonde will come and watch the dance performance that she has to do with Nick in a couple days.

At Eats and Beats Cafe & Bistro, Alex and Reggie are sitting at a table, watching a woman take photos of her pastry. Reggie is leaning close to her looking at her phone as she takes the photos saying, "Oh, great angle. Yeah." Alex throws out his hand in a 'what are you doing?' motion to the raven haired boy as the woman moves her phone to take a picture at another angle. Reggie leans closer, nods his head and says, "Now that's a good pic."
Alex speaks up, gesturing to the woman, "Is this what we're here for? To watch people take pictures of food?"
Reggie looks at Alex and tells him, "It's fun. Watch this." He grabs the plate with the pastry on it and moves it as the woman reaches for it, "People never stop looking at their phones." He continues moving the plate and the woman keeps searching for the pastry without looking away from her phone. Everytime the Peters boy moves the plate, he lets out, "Oop! Ehh! Woop." Reggie stops as the woman looks up from her phone to find the pastry. She grabs her plate and drags it back in front of herself, looking around as Reggie chuckles. She picks up the plate and leaves the table as Alex smiles at Reggie's antics.
After the woman is gone, Reggie adds, waving his hands around, "And Luke said something about this place being a hot spot for music industry people."
At the bar, a man walks by, setting a clipboard down onto the bar before walking away. Luke rushes over to it, cheering, "Yes!" He checks to make sure the barista isn't paying attention as he picks up the pen, clicking it against the clipboard before writing the band name on the playlist for that night. Reggie turns around and gives a confused look to Luke, who turns around and smiles while tossing the pen on top of the clipboard before heading over to the seat, where the woman was once sitting in.
On his way over, he pats Reggie's chest, causing the boy to turn his head to the direction where Luke will walk by to sit in the seat as the brown haired exclaims, "Boys, being a ghost definitely has its privileges." He sits down in the seat and gestures to himself while continuing, "I just wrote our names" he points to the clipboard, "On the playlist for tonight."
Luke looks over to Alex, who leans forward and loudly whispers to Reggie, "I'm getting a little worried about him. He keeps forgetting," He looks over to Luke and shouts, "That Julie quit the band. And for the first time ever, Lina is disappointed in us. That has never happened before. She can't even bear to look at us. Did you guys notice that she didn't even come back to the studio last night?"
Luke leans closer to Alex and states as a matter of fact, "And that Julie's gonna come back and Angel is going to forgive us just as soon as they know we have a great gig." Alex leans back into his seat, hoping that the brown haired boy is right. He needs his twin back to normal, talking to him again and no longer disappointed in him.
Luke looks over at Reggie, who looks between both boys, saying, "But if Julie doesn't come back, let's not forget, we do have somewhere else we can play and eat pizza."
Luke looks back and forth at Alex and Reggie while saying, "Dude, I know. It was awesome to be seen by lifers at Caleb's party, but... but we got this with Julie. And Angel has finally agreed to play and be in a band with us. We don't need him." They get hit by the jolt again, the three of them jumping back in their chairs as they groan out in pain. Reggie throws out his hand while Luke and Alex grab their chests.
Alex rubs his chest, trying to ease the pain as he says, "Oh! It's that same thing again!"
Alex and Luke look at each other as the guitarist adds, "Just like yesterday!"
Reggie puts his hand to his chest and squints as he says, causing the other two to look at him with concern, "It feels like that time I was fixing" he waves his hand and looks between Alex and Luke, "My amp in the rain."
Alex shakes his head and whispers while looking at Reggie, "You shouldn't..." He trails off and looks over at Luke before continuing, "Okay. Look, do you think something's wrong with us?"
Luke glances to Reggie before he looks back to Alex and responds, "Yeah. Yeah," He removes his hand from his chest and adds, "We ate ten pounds of pizza yesterday without a stomach." He leans forward and rests his other arm on top of the table. "I'm sure it's just our bodies working through it."
Alex nods his head before looking at Reggie, who speaks up, "So we're just gonna forget about getting back at Trevor? That jerk stole our music."
Luke looks at Reggie and replies, "And he has to live with that guilt." He briefly looks at Alex before looking back and Reggie and rests his left hand on the table while he says, "It's just like what Julie said. We have a new band," he puts his other hand on the table and looks over at Alex, "A new sound, okay?" He looks back at Reggie, telling the two, "That's what we should be focusing on."
Alex looks over at Luke and something in the window catches his eye. He looks to see what it is and he sees someone that looks like Willie peaking through the window, looking at the three ghosts. Alex gestures to the boy and asks Reggie and Luke, "Yo, isn't that Willie?" Reggie turns his head and Luke turns around to see who Alex is talking about. When Willie notices that the three boys have spotted him, he turns away from the window and rushes away on his skateboard. Alex gets up out of the chair and walks through the door of the cafe. He walks to where Willie was standing and tries to find the long haired boy.
Reggie chuckles and looks at Luke, while saying, "Well," Luke turns his head to look at Reggie, "Someone's not focusing on our music." Luke lightly chuckles at the raven haired boy before he turns his head to look at Alex, who is still outside trying to find Willie.

After school, Julie and Angelina are walking to the studio. The Mercer girl is telling Julie all about the ending of the book she finished reading last night. "And then Harry and Hermione go back in time to save Buckbeak from being killed. And Harry is able to save Sirius, his godfather from the Dementor's kiss of death." Julie looks up to the sky and heavily sighs as they walk down the steps that lead to the studio while Angelina continues talking, "When Sirius is taken back to Azkaban, Harry and Hermione fly on Buckbeak and they rescue Sirius."
When Julie steps off the final step, she glances over her shoulder and says, "I know, Angie. I read the book already." They walk over to the studio and the doors are already open. When the two girls are in the doorway, they see the three ghost boys standing in a straight line. Luke, who is holding a piece of paper, is in front with Reggie behind him and Alex behind the raven haired boy. Reggie leans to the right and throws out his arms, singing.
Reggie
We're sorry
Reggie looks over at Alex, who leans to the left and waves his left arm out, singing.
Alex
So sorry
Luke
We're super duper, crazy stupid
Luke throws out his arms and kneels on the ground. The other two boys turn to face each other and they do jazz hands as they look at the two girls.
All
Sorry
The boys don't move from their spots and Reggie speaks up "In case you missed it, we're really sorry." Alex looks over at Reggie, who drops his hands. Reggie turns his body to face the two girls and Alex puts his hands down, facing them as well.
"Yeah. I... I got that part," Julie tells them as she nods her head.
Luke puts his arms down and Alex briefly throws out his arms, saying, "We've been here for, like, three hours."
He holds up his hand as Reggie lets out, "Yup." He high fives the blonde drummer, the two of them smiling at the two girls.
Luke stands up and says, "We almost sang to your little brother." Julie crosses her arms as Angelina puts her hands on her hips.
"He comes in here a lot," Reggie tells Julie. He points over his shoulder with his thumbs as he continues, "Mainly to use the bathroom."
"Yeah," Alex speaks up, "It's not our favorite part of the day."
Luke addresses the Molina girl, "But, Julie, it wasn't okay that we flaked on the dance last night." Alex nods his head as he and Reggie look over to the brown haired boy, who adds, briefly glancing over to Angelina, "We know we let you down."
Reggie and Alex look back over to Julie as the latter says, "Yeah, and none of us wanted to disappoint you." He looks over to his twin, adding, "Either of you." He throws out his hands and gestures to Julie as he says, "You're the best thing," Luke looks over at Alex, "That's happened to us since we became ghosts." Angelina clears her throat and gives Alex a pointed look. The blonde gestures to his twin as he quickly adds, "Besides Lina, my favorite twin who loves me very much, of course."
Angelina narrows her eyes at Alex and tells him, "I'm your only twin." Alex lets out an awkward chuckle.
"So," Luke says as he cuts the awkward tension between the siblings, "In hopes that you'll rejoin the band," He takes a giant step toward the two girls. Alex and Reggie move closer as Luke puts the paper that he was holding into Julie's hands, saying, "We booked a new gig." Julie looks down at the paper and Angelina looks over the girl's shoulder.
Reggie, who has his hand on Alex's shoulder, speaks up, "A mega important," Alex smiles and looks over at Reggie, who lifts up his hand, "Life changing gig."
Luke points at a specific part of the flier as he says, "Oh, okay. Check it out." He looks up at Julie, "Tons of managers go here to listen to new bands." Luke looks over at Angelina and continues, "All we gotta do is blow them all away," he throws out his arms, "And we're living the dream."
Julie looks up at Luke, saying "So this means a lot to you, huh?" Reggie nods his head and Luke looks over at Julie. Angelina looks up at Luke as Julie throws out her arms and continues speaking, "Kind of how playing in front of my whole entire school meant a lot to me."
Alex looks down at the ground and Reggie looks up to the ceiling and says thoughtfully, "Sounds like sarcasm." Alex looks over at Reggie, who gasps as his eyes grow wide and his mouth opens. He leans over to Alex and loudly whispers, "I'm starting to think our plan isn't working." Reggie looks back over to the two girls as he leans away from Alex, who looks back over to Julie and Angelina. Julie turns her attention to Alex and Reggie. Luke looks over at Angelina and sees that she already has her eyes on him. Angelina quickly averts her eyes to her twin and a smirk grows on Luke's face.
"Look, we know we messed up," Alex says, shrugging his shoulders.
Julie looks back over to Luke, who looks at the Molina girl and adds, "But we need you in the band."
"Of course you do," Julie speaks up as she looks between each of the boys, "Because without me, no one can see you guys playing." Luke looks down at the ground as Julie looks up and continues, "You know, I thought," she looks back at Luke, "That the music that we were writing with Angie was special but," she points at Luke with the flier, "You're too obsessed with your past to even care."
"I do care," Luke sharply says to Julie. "Our band has a real chance at greatness. I'm not gonna let that get away from us again."
Julie nods her head and says, "Uh-huh. Right. So then why did you bail on me to get back at Trevor?" Luke looks at Julie and doesn't reply. The girl answers for him, "I'll tell you why. 'Cause there's only one thing you care about, and that's yourself."
Angelina looks over at Julie and whispers, "Julie..." Julie turns around and walks away, causing Angelina to sigh and look down at the ground. Luke looks over at the blonde girl, who refuses to make eye contact with the brown haired boy. He walks past Angelina and watches Julie storm away from the studio.
Alex assures the boy, "Dude, she didn't mean it." Reggie shakes his head as Luke turns to look at the two boys. He looks over at Angelina, who still refuses to look at him and is instead looking at Luke's blue electric guitar. The boy sighs before he poofs away.
"Where's he going?" Reggie asks the blonde drummer.
Alex briefly glances at Angelina before he looks back over to the spot Luke had just been standing in before replying, "Where do you think? Remember what today is?" He looks back at Reggie, who looks to the blonde and subtly nods. Alex sighs as Reggie looks over to the spot Luke was in.
At Alex's words, Angelina wracks her brain, trying to remember what today is. When it hits her, she lets out a gasp and covers her hands over her mouth. She exclaims, "Oh my gosh. I'm such a terrible friend." A tear leaks out of her eye when she realizes what she had done.
Alex takes a step closer to her and tries to reassure her, "Lina, you are not a terrible friend."
Angelina looks up at Alex and replies, "No, Alex. I am. I have been so stubborn and I haven't stuck up for Luke. The three of us know the real reason he wants to get back at Bobby. We know that Luke cares about everything but himself. He doesn't have a selfish bone in his body." More tears stream from her face and Alex takes another step closer to his twin, who adds, "And the worst part is it's his birthday today. Not only did I forget, but I was so hell bent on being disappointed with you guys. What kind of friend would rather be disappointed in her best friends and not wish one of them a happy birthday?"
Reggie speaks up, "I'm sure Luke would forget about it in a heartbeat because he is so in love with you."
Angelina shakes her head and scoffs at the Peters boy. She walks off into the studio, away from the two boys. Alex looks over to Reggie, giving him a 'what the hell?' look as he says, "Dude..."
Reggie looks over to Alex and asks, "What? What did I say?"
Alex rolls his eyes and tells the oblivious boy, "Let's go. We need to talk to Julie. Get her to understand why Luke wants to get back at Bobby so bad." Reggie nods his head and the two boys poof away to Julie's house. Angelina walks over to the piano with her journal in hand. She sets it on top of the piano as she sits down on the bench. She lets out a loud sigh as she leans forward and puts her head down on the keys of the piano, causing a loud noise to come from the instrument.
A thought comes to the blonde's head, causing her to shoot upright in her seat. The only way she could think of to make it up to the Patterson boy is to get him a present that he would never forget. She poofs up to the loft and searches through all the stuff until she finds a shoebox filled with memories. She takes the box and poofs away to Julie's room. Once in the room, she sets the box down on the girl's bed. She poofs away to get more supplies for the best present Luke is ever going to receive.
â¢â¢â¢
When Julie finally decides to give the three ghost boys a second chance, they decide to start practicing while they wait for Luke to get back. Julie had to go up to her room to get Angelina when they realized that she wasn't in the studio. Julie was a little bit confused when she walked into her room and found a mess that Angelina had made while putting together Luke's present. The blonde had to explain to Julie what she was doing and the girl smirked at Angelina and told her she understood.
In the studio, the three ghosts and Julie have their instruments set up. Alex is sitting at his drum set, Reggie has his bass strapped on, Angelina has her light blue electric guitar, and Julie is sitting at the keyboard. Reggie is standing between the keyboard and Alex's drum set. Angelina is standing on the other side of Julie's keyboard. Alex hits his drum sticks together and they start to play the music for Finally Free. Julie starts to sing.
Julie
Marching on proud
Turn it up loud
'Cause now we know what we're worth
They stop playing once Luke poofs into the room. He falls into the rolling chair and looks around the room. When he sees Julie, he stands up and says, "Whoa, Julie." Luke looks over at Angelina and longingly whispers, "Angel." The blonde girl gives the brown haired boy a sheepish smile.
Julie smiles at Luke and gives him a knowing look as she tells him, "Grab your guitar. We got work to do." Luke looks over at Reggie and Alex. Reggie shrugs and Alex smiles at Luke, who chuckles and grabs his guitar.
Julie stands up as Luke comes over to her and asks, "What made you come back?" He rests his guitar on the ground and sets his hands on top of it. Angelina looks over to Julie, wanting to hear what the girl will say.
Luke looks over at the blonde girl as Julie replies, "I realized how important music is to all of us. And we've lost so much already. We can't lose this too."
Luke nods his head and says, "Thanks." Luke looks over at Angelina, who looks back at him. They stare at each other for a couple seconds while the other three people in the room smirk at the pair knowingly. Luke looks over to Julie and asks as he chuckles, "Alright, boss. Where we at?"
Julie chuckles and says, "Oh, and by the way, happy birthday." She sits back down on the bench to the keyboard. Luke looks between all of the ghosts in the room as he backs up and moves to the spot he is going to play in. Julie chuckles and announces, "Let's go from the pre chorus." She nods to Alex as Luke gets his guitar ready.
Alex hits his drum sticks together and shouts, "One, two, three, four."Â The band spends the next hour or so practicing the song.
Once they finish practicing, Angelina puts her guitar back on its stand. She walks over to the piano and sits down on it. She presses the keys of the piano to the song that she has stuck in her head. Luke looks over at the girl as he places his guitar on its stand. He walks over to the girl and says, "Hey."
Angelina stops playing the piano and she looks up at the boy before she says, "Oh, hey." Luke points to the bench of the piano. The blonde nods and moves over, making room for the boy to sit down next to her. The other three members of the band pretend they are busy doing other things and that they aren't eavesdropping onto the conversation. She looks down at the piano and says, "I want to apologize for being a horrible friend."
Luke furrows his brows and asks the girl, "What do you mean?"
"I forgot it was your birthday today," Angelina reminds the boy.
Luke rolls his eyes and says, "I don't care that you forgot my birthday." Angelina looks at him confused so he explains, "You haven't seen Alex, Reggie, or I for twenty five years. I'm not going to hold that against you."
Angelina smiles and shakes her head as she tells the boy, "What would I ever do without you?"
Luke laughs and answers her, "Well, you have lived twenty five years without me. So, I think you would be fine."
Angelina chuckles and says, "It was very painful for the first couple of years." She looks down at her lap and fiddles her fingers. After a beat of silence, Angelina speaks up again, "I know you went to see your parents today."
Luke looks at her with furrowed brows and asks her suspiciously, "How do you know that?"
Angelina rolls her eyes and looks over at the boy as she responds, "I know you, Luke. I knew that was where you would go." Luke nods and looks away from the blonde haired girl. Luke's eyes fall onto Angelina's journal, which is still sitting on top of the piano.
He looks over to the blonde girl, who is watching him carefully as he asks, "Can I?" Angelina lightly sighs before she nods her head, giving Luke permission to go through her song journal. Luke opens up to a random page of the journal. When he reads the title of the song, he teasingly asks, "What's this?" Angelina braces herself, thinking that he found the song that she wrote about him.
She looks at the journal over the boy's shoulder and moves to take the journal out of his hands when she sees the song he is talking about as she says, "No." Luke is too fast for her and he moves the journal out of her reach. Angelina puts her hands over her face to hide her embarrassment. She doesn't know whats worse, Luke finding the song that she wrote about him or the cringy song he is looking at right now.
He looks at her and asks, "Froyo Yolo?"
Angelina removes her hands from her face and takes the journal out of the brown haired boy's hands. She closes it and puts it back on top of the piano as she defensively says, "I wrote that song when froyo became popular again. Everyone was going crazy for it and I wanted some but I can't eat anything. So, I wrote this stupid song. Not all songs are hits, Luke"
Luke slowly nods his head at the girl. Angelina rolls her eyes at him and looks away. Luke speaks up, causing Angelina to look back at him, "Can you sing some of it for me?" Angelina stares at the boy, who starts to give her a pleading look complete with puppy eyes and a pouty lip.
After a couple seconds the blonde gives in, "Fine. But promise you won't laugh?"
"I would never," Luke assures the girl. Angelina sighs before she starts to sing the chorus of the song.
Angelina
I love froyo oh, oh, oh oh
It's so yolo, oh, oh, oh-oh, oh-oh
Frozen yogurt is my favorite treat
Sweet and yummy, froyo's all I eat
'Cause you only live once
Angelina looks over at Luke, who is trying so hard to not burst into laughter. The blonde girl looks at the boy for a couple seconds before they both break and laugh loudly. Luke quickly apologizes for laughing, "I'm sorry."
Still laughing, Angelina responds, "Don't be, the song is really bad. It isn't my best work. I was going through a really bad writer's block at the time."
When they stop laughing, Luke asks her, "What about that song that you were playing?"
Angelina opens her mouth and rambles, "I just finished writing that song. I don't know if it's good or not. I haven't played the whole song yet. I want it to be perfect."
"Well, play it for me then," Luke offers to the blonde girl.
Angelina smiles and sheepishly says, "Okay," She grabs her journal and opens it up to True Love, the song that she has been writing about Luke since the three boys showed a couple weeks ago. She props the journal up on the piano so that Luke can see the words of the song. Angelina starts to play the song on the piano. Before she can start singing, Luke sings instead.
Luke
If I could do it all over, maybe I'd do it different
Angelina smiles over at Luke, who is looking at the lyrics in the journal as he sings.
Maybe I wouldn't be here, in this position
Angelina starts singing, causing Luke to stop and look over at her.
Angelina
I found you then I lost you, looking back is torture
And it hurts to know I'd let you go, you live right around the corner
The two ghosts look at each other as they sing together.
Both
And I could've had it all, could've had it all
True love, I know I had it
True love, was so hard to find
They turn their heads away before they look back at each other.
True love, If I could get it back
Angelina glances at the keys of the piano, to make sure she is pressing the correct keys before she looks back into Luke's eyes.
I'd never let it go this time
Luke looks away as Angelina looks down to the piano.
Luke
True love
Angelina
Is an inspiration
Luke
True love
Angelina shakes her head and closes her eyes as she continues to sing.
Angelina
It was mine, oh mine
Luke
True love
Luke looks over to Angelina.
Angelina
Yeah
The blonde looks over to the brown haired boy.
Luke
I'd never let it go
Angelina
I'd never let it go
Both
I'd never let it go this time
Angelina stops playing the piano as Luke gets off the bench of the piano and grabs his guitar. He puts the guitar strap around his body and starts to play. Alex sits down at his drum set and starts playing. Reggie plays his bass and Julie sits down and plays the keyboard.
Angelina
Feeling it all around me, wondering how I blew it
And I wanna know the secret, of how they, do it
No such thing as perfection, I'm still learning that lesson
The Mercer girl gets off the bench of the piano and grabs her guitar.
To forgive is key to forgetting me
And I'm staring at my reflection
The band stops playing and Angelina continues to sing.
And I could've had it all, could've had it all
Angelina starts to play the guitar as the rest of the band joins her.
Both

Alex and Reggie stop playing their instruments. Angelina stops singing and Luke continues as he walks toward the blonde girl.
Luke
If I knew then what I do now, I'd be with you tonight
If I knew then what I do now we'd be alright
Luke stops in front of Angelina as the two of them stop playing their instruments.
And I could've had it all
Alex smiles knowingly at the way his best friend and his twin are looking at each other. Julie and Reggie smirk to each other, both knowing that there is something there between the two.
True love

Julie stops playing as Angelina and Luke start to sing together again.

Reggie, Alex, and Julie sing with Angelina and Luke as they play their instruments once again.

They all stop paying their instruments. Luke glances down at Angelina's lips before he looks back into her eyes.
Luke
I'd never let it go
Luke plucks some of the strings on his guitar and takes a step closer to Angelina, who licks her lips before she starts to sing again.
Angelina
I'd never let it go
This time
True love
When the song ends, Luke and Angelina slowly lean in. The Mercer girl and the Patterson boy quickly pull away from each other as Reggie starts to clap and say, "That was amazing Ang. It is definitely perfect. Nothing needs to be changed." Alex and Julie send Reggie a sharp look for letting Angelina and Luke know they were listening to the conversation between the two.
Angelina smiles and says, "Thanks, Reg." She sets her guitar onto the stand before she walks over to the piano. She grabs the journal, closing it as she turns to the group. She looks between them, quickly looking at Luke as she says, "I'll see you guys later tonight for the gig."
Luke takes a step forward and says, "Angel, wait..." Before he could say anything else, Angelina poofs out of the studio. Luke turns around and gives Reggie an 'are you kidding me?' look.
Reggie looks between the group and innocently asks, "What? What did I do?"
