When I was younger, I used to teach kids on the street every weekend to share what I'd learned in school. I also used to teach my younger sister and it makes me happy to know that somehow I am helping my fellow youngsters in learning new things.

My heart was in pure bliss when I heard the news about the student who was also teaching kids on the street and suddenly I missed the town I grew up in, I missed the children listening to the lessons I would teach.

When we moved to this province, I still did not stop teaching instead I wrote what I had experienced in the form of literature.

Carving a Heroine

If only I could talk to my younger self.

I want to imprint this on her heart, "You're such a great role model."

My heart is in pure bliss to remember that you used to teach kids on the street every weekend-

to share what you have learned

and to spread hope to every child

who listens to you.

I could still feel the fire

that lies inside you,

you didn't even realize that time,

you already gave them the key to their future.

As I was writing you on this poetry,

I saw that everyone could be a hero-

even if you're young.

It's not just about saving lives

but also on how you are well

dedicated to give knowledge to

everyone.

On a simple act of kindness,

They can trail it back every time

because no one will steal

what you had carved.
