A loud sigh could be heard from a male who was once lying peacefully in his bed until a loud blaring sound of his phone's alarm clock started to yell into the room.
Shifting his whole body to face where his phone was on the bedside table, tired (E/c) hues glared at it in annoyance.
Lifting an arm, the male brought his hand down and turned the alarm off.
"Fucking hell," he muttered as he sat up in his bed, slouching his figure over which caused strands of (H/c) to cover his face.
His arms sat limply on his legs as he debated if he should get up or not.
With a heavy sigh, blankets were thrown off as the male shifted his body so that he was sitting on the edge of the bed, slipping on a pair of slippers.
"Why do I always have to wake up at 6 in the damn morning again?" The (E/c)-eyed male muttered. "Oh, right. Because I have to wake up a very specific man who doesn't like to wake up on time to take his son to school," he then deadpanned while grabbing a pair of clothes from his closet.
It wasn't much, just simple everyday wear.
"Should I shower now or wait till I get back?" He mumbled to himself.
His eyes shifted over to the bathroom door that was connected to his room and shook his head a bit.
"I'll take a quick shower, I guess."
With a slight shake of his head, the (H/c)-haired male headed off to take a shower before he went off to wake up a certain pair he had as neighbors.

About fifteen minutes later, the male could be seen standing in front of a front door not long after getting finished.
With a sigh, the male knocked on the door.
A grumble of annoyance was heard inside the apartment that the (H/c)-haired male lived in with several other tenants.
The second the door opened, a man with short black hair and green eyes could be seen glaring tiredly at the person who had decided to interrupt his sleep.
"Good morning, Toji," the (H/c)-haired male greeted.
The man, Toji, grumbled angrily but stepped out of the way so that the other could step inside the apartment.
"You're an asshole, (Y/n)," Toji scowled.
(Y/n) just waved off Toji's annoyance.
"Shush. Just be lucky enough I'm taking time out of my day to wake you and Gumi up," the (H/c)-haired male replied.
Toji rolled his eyes at the other but didn't dare to snap back.
"Go take a shower while I wake up Gumi," (Y/n) ordered as he headed over to a bedroom that held the named sleeping boy inside.
Toji glared at the back of (Y/n)'s head, a heavy frown on his lips but went off to take a shower like he was ordered.
(Y/n) gently knocked on Megumi's bedroom door before quietly turning the door knob so that he could push the door open slightly.
Popping his head in, a small smile appeared on (Y/n)'s lips as he noticed Megumi still sleeping with two plushies that were black and white dogs.
Pushing the door open even more, (Y/n) entered the room and sat down on the edge beside Megumi's sleeping figure.
"Gumi," (Y/n) said quietly as he gently shook Megumi's shoulder.
A soft whine was heard from Megumi's lips as he tried to move away from (Y/n).
A soft chuckle left the male's lips as he shook Megumi's shoulder once more.
"It's time to wake up, Gumi," (Y/n) states.
"No..." Megumi mumbled as he stuffed his face into his white and black dog plushies.
With a playful eye roll, (Y/n) stood up and had his back facing Megumi's figure.
"I'll carry you," (Y/n) urged, wanting the young boy to wake up and get ready for the long day ahead.
Megumi released another whine before rolling on his side to tiredly gaze at the man whom he had grown accustomed to being woken up to.
The young raven-haired child pushed himself onto his feet with trouble since he had his plushies in his hands.
(Y/n) felt small arms wrap around his shoulders and neck, which caused him to easily pick up Megumi from under the boy's knees.
"Hmm..." Megumi nuzzled his head against the back of (Y/n)'s neck, taking in the soothing scent that came from the older male's body wash and shampoo he used earlier.
"What sounds good for breakfast?" (Y/n) asks as he walks out of the bedroom while carrying Megumi on his back.
"Eggs?" Megumi murmured in a hopeful tone.
"With toast?" (Y/n) questioned.
"Mhm," Megumi nodded his head as he sighed quietly.
"Don't fall asleep on me, Gumi," (Y/n) coaxed softly. "We wanna show your dad that you're a big boy, right?" He asks.
Megumi took in the male's words despite his mind feeling fuzzy with sleep.
"Yeah," Megumi mumbled.
(Y/n) chuckled as he and Megumi entered the kitchen.
The duo could hear the shower going off from where they were but made no mention of it.
The (H/c)-haired male placed Megumi down onto one of the seats he pulled out before heading over to the fridge to grab the eggs.
"How many would you like?" (Y/n) asks.
"Two," Megumi answered as he waited patiently in his seat while slowly waking up.
"Scrambled or sunny-side?" The male asked once more as he took the eggs out of the fridge while grabbing a carton of milk so that he could get Megumi something to drink.
"Scrambled," Megumi replied, watching his favorite neighbor walk around the kitchen getting things ready for breakfast.
If Megumi had to be honest, (Y/n) was probably the only person and neighbor that he and his father would let into the apartment.
They had grown comfortable around the male ever since the other had helped Megumi find his father one time after getting lost in a grocery store, but that was a story for another time.
It didn't take long for the sound of sizzling to be heard along with the wonderful, but smothering smell of eggs and toast being made in the house.
Megumi's green eyes then landed on the pan beside the one that had eggs in it and started to smell sausages in the mixture.
His mouth started to water a bit as he gazed in silent awe.
A cup of milk now sat in front of him, but he didn't notice it since he was enjoying the beautiful smells that took up his senses.
The duo didn't hear the shower go off and the bathroom door opening, indicating that Toji was finished with his shower until he entered the kitchen in casual clothes.
Toji eyed (Y/n)'s figure for a few moments before turning his attention to Megumi's figure.
He held back a chuckle as he walked over to the coffee maker that sat in the corner.
(Y/n) finished up the sausages and scrambled eggs, plating them up on separate plates.
The (H/c)-haired male placed two sausages on Megumi's plate along with a piece of toast that had butter on it.
Megumi watched as (Y/n) placed down the plate of food in front of him, which made his eyes sparkle in excitement.
"Scrambled or sunny-side, Toji?" (Y/n) asks as he heads back over to the stove.
"Sunny-side," Toji simply answered as he waited for his coffee.
(Y/n) hummed lightly in acceptance. "Two or three?" He questions.
"Three," the man simply replied.
The (E/c)-eyed male said nothing else as he continued to make breakfast for the three of them.
The only sounds in the apartment were the sizzling from the pans and the coffee machine going off as it poured the hot liquid into a coffee mug.

Megumi looked between his father and (Y/n) as he tried to figure something out.
"Um..." Megumi murmured, capturing (Y/n)'s attention.
"Is there something that you need, Gumi?" (Y/n) asks not long after taking a sip of his (F/d).
Megumi fidgeted with his fingers. "Are you...dating anyone?" He nervously questioned.
Toji eyed his son, trying to figure out what he was trying to get at by asking that sort of question.
(Y/n) blinked as he stared at the raven-haired boy in surprise. He honestly didn't think that he'd be asked that after months of knowing the boy and his father.
"I'm not," (Y/n) answered in a confirmed and truthful tone.
Megumi's eyes seemed to brighten up at the answer but they quickly went back to being normal.
The boy looked at his father in the corner of his eyes when he saw (Y/n) turn his attention back to eating.
Toji watched as his son gave him a look like he was telling him that he had a chance with the other.
The male rolled his eyes at his son's attitude, but couldn't help but feel relieved in a way at the fact that (Y/n) wasn't in any sort of relationship as of right now.
But at the same time, he was still a grieving widower who didn't even know if he was ready to step back into the dating cycle.
Maybe one day, but right now it wasn't the time.
