It was the start of the new academic year at SMPN 2 Balai, a middle school located in a small town in Indonesia. The school was like any other building during the day, with students running around, teachers instructing students, and the sound of chalk scratching against the board. But as the sun goes down, the school transforms into a different world altogether - one shrouded in darkness and mystery.

The school had been abandoned for several years before the government decided to refurbish it and use it as a school again. However, nobody knew of the school's past, and the legend that surrounded it.

On the first day of school, as the last bell rang, a group of students was wandering around the deserted school building. They entered a forgotten classroom, and that's where they saw her. Her name was Ibu Arini, the previous headmistress of the school.

"Who are you kids?" Ibu Arini asked in a stern voice. "What are you doing here?"

"We're just exploring the school," answered one of the students.

"Well, you shouldn't be here. This school is full of dangers," Ibu Arini warned.

The kids thought she was just a paranoid ghost, but as the night went on, they saw strange things happening in the school. The lockers would open and shut by themselves, the wind would howl through the corridors, and there were whispers and footsteps heard around every corner.

The next day, one of the students, Rini, asked her teacher if anyone had died in the school. The teacher hesitated for a moment and then shared the story of Ibu Arini. Several years ago, Ibu Arini had been murdered by her husband, who had found her in bed with another man. After the murder, Ibu Arini's husband took his own life in the school. Ever since then, the school had a reputation for being haunted.

The students decided to investigate the legend and started to research the school's history. They started to hear more and more stories from the local residents about the school being cursed. Some said that the ghosts of the students who died in a fire years ago still roamed the corridors at night.

One night, as they were exploring the school, they heard a baby crying. They followed the sound to the old storage room, and inside they found a baby wrapped in a cloth. They took the baby to the school's principal, who decided to call the police.

It turns out that the baby was left there by one of the school's caretakers, who had stolen the baby from its parents. The caretaker wanted to perform a ritual to remove the curse from the school, but the police arrived and arrested him.

After the police left, the students thought they had finally put an end to the curse. They thought wrong. The next night, as they were walking down the corridor, they saw Ibu Arini standing at the end of the corridor, staring at them.

"What do you want from us?" one of the students asked.

"I want peace," Ibu Arini answered. "But I can't rest until my murderer and I are at peace."

The students agreed to help Ibu Arini and started to investigate her murder. They found out that Ibu Arini's husband had been the one to blame for the murder. They also found his spirit wandering around the school.

The students found a way to reunite the two spirits by performing a ritual, and at the end of it, Ibu Arini's spirit disappeared. The school was finally at peace, and the students could continue their studies without the fear of the supernatural.

From that day on, the students continued to explore the school. But this time, they respected Ibu Arini's warning and stayed away from the abandoned classrooms, knowing that the school was filled with ghosts who were looking for peace.
