It was a typical summer evening in Jakarta when four friends, Mia, Ani, Rina, and Dini, were walking home from a party. They were enjoying each other's company and chatting about the night's events when they noticed a strange figure in the distance. It was standing under a streetlight, watching them.

"Who's that?" Mia asked, pointing to the figure.

"I don't know," Ani replied, "but it looks creepy."

The figure was tall and slender, with long arms and legs. It was wearing a cloak that concealed its face, and it didn't move or make a sound.

"Maybe it's a ghost," Rina joked, trying to ease the tension.

"Let's just ignore it and keep walking," Dini suggested nervously.

But as they continued on their way, they realized that the figure was following them. It didn't move quickly or aggressively, but it was always there, lurking in the shadows.

The four friends started to feel uneasy about the figure following them. Every time they passed a streetlight, they could see it in the distance, watching them.

"I think we should confront it," Mia said, "I'm tired of feeling like somebody's watching us."

The others agreed, and they decided to approach the figure. As they walked closer, they could see that the face was distorted and menacing. They hesitated for a moment, but then Dini bravely stepped forward.

"Who are you?" she asked, "Why are you following us?"

The figure didn't respond, but it shifted its weight and made a strange, guttural sound.

"Maybe it doesn't speak Indonesian," Rina suggested.

Mia decided to try another language. "你是谁?" she asked in Mandarin.

Still, there was no response from the figure. The friends were starting to feel frustrated and scared, not knowing what to do.

Suddenly, the figure started to move closer, causing the friends to back up. They tried to run, but the figure was blocking their path.

"We need to get past it," Ani said, "I'll distract it, and you guys run."

The others nodded in agreement, and Ani bravely stepped forward. She started to dance and sing in front of the figure, trying to distract it.

It worked for a moment, but then the figure lunged at her. She screamed, and the others turned around to help her.

The friends managed to hold the figure back, but it was strong, and they were struggling to keep it at bay. They could feel its anger and pain radiating from it.

"It's possessed," Dini shouted, "we need to exorcise it!"

But they didn't know how to exorcise a spirit, and they were running out of energy. The figure was getting the upper hand.

Just when they thought they were doomed, a bright, white light enveloped them. The figure screamed and wailed and then disappeared, leaving the friends alone and shaken.

"What just happened?" Mia asked, stunned.

"I don't know," Ani replied, "but I don't want to stick around and find out."

They hastily made their way home, not daring to look back. But they could feel the presence of the figure still lingering behind them, making them question if it was really gone forever.

The next day, they found out that a murder had taken place in the alley where they had encountered the dark figure. It was believed that the figure was the vengeful spirit of the murdered person.

The four friends were forever changed by their encounter with the dark figure. They knew that the supernatural world was real, and that they should always be careful when walking alone at night.
