A chilling light flashed in Barlowâs eyes as he gripped the manâs collar.
âWho are you? Who hired you to take these pictures?â he demanded, his voice icy.
Taken aback by Barlowâs forceful demeanor, the man warned, âDonât do anything rash.
Weâre in public.
If you lay a hand on me, Iâll scream.
â
Ignoring the threat, Barlow pressed, âHow much are you planning to sell these photos for?â
The man blinked in surprise.
âWhat?â
Barlow offered, âYouâre planning to sell these, arenât you? Name your price.
Iâll pay double.
â
A greedy glint appeared in the manâs eyes
âLook, I may be a paparazzo, but I have my professional ethics.
â
Barlow scoffed.
âEthics? You have no right to talk about ethics.
How much do you want for the photos? If you donât tell me, Iâll hand them over to the police and have you charged with invasion of privacy.
â
Upon hearing Barlowâs threat, the man hastily replied, âAlright, alright! I was going to sell them for $102, 200!â
He had deliberately inflated his original asking price.
Barlow released him, asked for his account information, and promptly transferred $200, 000.
He then removed the memory card from the camera.
Upon receiving the notification confirming the transfer, the man felt a mixture of elation and regret.
The original buyer had promised him only $50, 00, and here he had managed to get four times that amount.
If heâd known how generous this man would be, he would have aimed even higher.

Barlow entered the restaurant and quickly inquired about Donnâs room number from a waiter.
Without wasting any time, he headed there and pushed open the door.
The sight that greeted him was that of a man passionately kissing a woman.
His eyes narrowed instantly.
He moved quickly, grabbing the man and striking him forcefully.
With a shriek, the man tumbled to the floor.
Ignoring him, Barlow turned to the woman, whose clothing was half-removed, exposing her fair skin.
She hastily covered her chest and looked up at Barlow, panic filling her eyes.
She wasnât Karina!
She was just a waitress.
A wave of relief washed over Barlow upon realizing this.
