Brian hesitated for a moment before asking, âDid Rosalynn call me?â
There was a prolonged silence on the other end of the line.
All Brian could hear was Deannaâs heavy breathing.
He had probably hit the nail on the head.
Brian asked, âDid you send that fake divorce certificate to her?â
âYeah, I did.
â Deanna didnât mince words.
He sighed, clearly puzzled.
âBut why would you do that?â
Deanna answered, her frustration evident, âWhy? I have lost my family because of Rosalynn.
Canât I retaliate?â
Her tone carried a hint of anger.
Brian sighed and said.
âDeanna, itâs not entirely her fault that your parents are divorced.
âI donât care! I just canât stand her! Seeing her angry makes me happy!â

Deanna raised her voice and cried.
Her emotions resembled that of a child throwing a tantrum.
Brian pinched the bridge of his nose and said, âDeanna, you must understand that by doing this, you are ultimately tormenting me.
â
Recognizing that Rosalynn had become indifferent to him now, he knew he had hurt her again.
âBrian, I feel awful! I donât have a home anymore.
Itâs all her fault!â Deanna sobbed uncontrollably.
Brian glanced ahead and said, âDeanna, you need to grow up and face reality.
These are just parts of life, and you have to learn to accept them.
Anyway, try to get some rest.
Donât overthink things.
