From the outside, things looked to be going in their favor.
A small smile made its way to Rosalynnâs lips, then she looked away.
âThat concludes my presentation.
Thank you, everyone.
â
Maggie wrapped up, then bowed to everyone, the tension leaving her body as she breathed in relief.
Gailâs gaze fixed on Rosalynn before she turned her head towards the stage and asked, âMay I ask who was primarily responsible for the designs?â
Maggie turned towards Rosalynn and said, âThe person behind them is a designer from our company, Rosalynn Fuller.
â
Upon being called, Rosalynn stood up and bowed slightly toward the judges.
Gailâs eyes gleamed with admiration.
âMs.
Fuller, your portfolio is impressive.
The ingenuity of your designs reminds me of the internationally renowned designer Rose.
Did you consult her in building your portfolio?â
Rosalynn smiled and answered, âNo.
â
It would not be accurate to say that she consulted Rose when she was Rose herself.
âIs that so? Then, all of it was from your own ideas?â
Gailâs eyes brightened even more.
Rosalynn smiled and was about to explain her identity, but Maggie beat her to it.
âActually, Rose is none other than Ms.
Fuller.
â
A look of surprise swept over Gailâs face.
In the next second, the entire room was filled with low murmurs.
âDid I hear that right? Sheâs Rose, the acclaimed designer? No way!
But sheâs so young!â
âI had always thought that Rose is a persona made up by her studio.
It seemed more believable that a group of people were working together and collectively releasing their work under one name, especially with the numerous awards Rose has amassed.
â
âItâs created a trend, actually.
Many companies are doing the same to reel in the public.
Isnât it all one big marketing gimmick?â
âThat couldnât be right.
Our company was also present at another bid conference.
Someone asked about Rose, but she denied that they were the same person.
â
Suddenly, everyone was talking about Rosalynn.
