Tilda was tensed.
She didnât know why Sheldon called her mom out of the blue, but she loved it.
A spark of excitement flashed in her eyes behind her glasses.
It was the first time he ever called her that and she wanted to respond so badly.
She pushed her electric wheelchair forward, but they were very fast, so she couldnât catch up.
Ivy stopped and asked the woman who was with her, âTo confirm what I heard, what did that kid call them?â
âHe called them âMom and Dadâ,â the middle-aged woman replied almost instantly.
Ivyâs expression changed immediately she got that confirmation.
She hadnât heard wrongly after all.
Could it be? Could the boy really be theirs?
That was not possible!
He couldnât possibly be Lyndonâs.
He could be Tildaâs, but definitely not Lyndonâs.
âWhat took you so long? Are you alright?â
Renata had waited for a long time for her daughter to return.
After much waiting, she came outside look for her.
âHom!â
Ivyâs eyes were red with anger when she remembered the humiliation she had faced earlier.
Her mother noticed her expression and asked, âWhatâs the matter, sweetheart? What happened to your face? Tell me, who did this to you?â
Renata was both shocked and anxious to see the red marks on her daughterâs face.
âIt was Tilda.
She hit me,â Ivy explained, playing victim.
âTilda? Why would she hit you?â She narrowed her eyes, her face darkening at the same time.
âI cursed her a few times, so she hit me,â Ivy answered.
Filled with rage, Renata asked, âWhere the hell is she? Iâll make her pay for what she did to you!â
Ivy quickly replied, âThere will be no need for that, Mom.
I just discovered a secret that could be a better tool against her.
â
âWhat secret?â
âThere was a little boy with her.
He called her âMomâ.
I think she had a child secretly and nobody knew about it.
â Ivy took her time to explain everything.
Renata was left utterly surprised.
âWhat did you just say? A child? Huh?â
