Rosalynn Led Maggie to a secluded corner and pulled out her phone.
âMaggie, thereâs something that I need to tell you.

â
âRosalynn, whatâs going on?â Maggie asked with curiosity.

âIs the man in the photo your boyfriend? He might have betrayed you.
â
Maggie took the phone and looked at the photo.
Her smile gradually faded away.
Her eyes welled up with tears and she gripped the phone tightly, remaining silent.
Observing her reaction, Rosalynn sighed and gently patted her shoulder.
âBefore my business trip, I saw your boyfriend with this woman at a car showroom, I encountered them again while shopping with a friend yesterday.
I purposely talked to the woman and she revealed to me that he was her boyfriend.
â
Tears streamed down Maggieâs face.
After a moment, she managed to say in a trembling voice, âThis woman is Yana Shear, my cousin, who is just a few months older than me.
It Looks like sheâs stolen something from me yet again.
â
The woman was Maggieâs cousin?
Rosalynn was taken aback.
âHas your cousin taken things from you multiple times?â
âYes.
â Maggie nodded with anger in her red eyes.
âYana is my uncleâs daughter.
Their family runs a business and is quite wealthy.
My family, on the other hand, is poor.
My parents work at my uncleâs factory.
Since I was a child, Iâve always been more Likable than Yana, which has made her jealous and driven her to take things from me.
As children, she would tell me she was a princess, and because my family was poor, I was only fit to be her servant.
I couldnât stand her, but my parents insisted that I should be grateful to my uncle and keep her happy.
So, every time she took my favorite toy, I had to bear it.
Every time she pushed my friends away from me, I had to endure it.
It upset me, so I stopped making friends and focused on my studies.
