Chapter 2834: Chapter 2839

My Bossy CEO HusbandWords: 1994

Sheldons large eyes blinked, processing the comparison.

His face grew thoughtful, his Little hands fidgeting in his lap.

Before the conversation could go any further, Corrines voice rang out from the dining room.

Keanu, Sheldon, dinners ready! Come on over! Alright.

Keanu straightened, offering Sheldon his hand.

Lifting the boy off the sofa, he smirked subtly.

Seeing Sheldon lost in thought, he couldnt help but smile.

Keanu knew Lyndon had hinted to the boy that he was the one trying to break up their family. So in return, Keanu also indicated to Sheldon that Lyndon might not be as dedicated to Tilda as he appeared to be.

The smart boy would surely question Lyndon about it! Keanu smirked secretly, imagining Lyndons forthcoming embarrassment.

As they entered the dining room, the table was spread with an array of dishes.

Keanu hesitated, his confident smile freezing slightly.

The presentation was… unique.

The dishes on the table didnt really look… delicious.

Corrine beamed.

You must be starving! Heres milk for Sheldon, juice for Tilda, and wine for the Keanu.

Tilda gracefully poured milk into Sheldons glass.

As she did, Sheldons gaze fixed on a particular dish.

Aunt Corrine, whats this? he asked, pointing to a plate of glistening meat.

Corrine leaned in proudly.

Thats a plate of pork ribs! I spent half an hour perfecting it.

Go on, give it a try! she said with a smile, offering a piece of pork to Sheldon.

Sheldon swallowed expectantly, opening his mouth as Corrine offered him a bite. He chewed twice before his brows furrowed tightly, his face twisting in discomfort.

He turned to Tilda with wide, pleading eyes.

Mom, can I spit it out? Tilda winced embarrassedly.

She had a feeling this might happen.

Uh… does it not taste good, sweetheart? Before Tilda could give him permission, Sheldon leaned over and spat the bite discreetly into his napkin, shaking his head vigorously.

Its really bad.

Corrines smile faltered.

Is it… really that bad? she asked hesitantly.
