ZEESHAN POV.....

Zeeshan ran his fingers along the cold metal of the anklet, his grip tightening as his mind wandered back to the present. A slow, eerie smile stretched across his lips.

Aaradhya was his. She had always been his.

Eshaan thought he could erase her memories and take her away?

How foolish.

If anything, Eshaan had given Zeeshan the perfect opportunity to rewrite her reality. To mold her into the perfect version he always wanted. A version that only belonged to him.

Aaradhya had forgotten him?

Good.

Now, she could remember him the way he wanted her to.

With slow, deliberate movements, Zeeshan rose from his chair, his dark eyes gleaming with something dangerous. He had spent years lurking in the shadows, watching, waiting. But now?

Now, it was time to step into the light.

To claim what was his.

———

Aaradhya’s POV

The soft hum of the hospital lights flickered above as Aaradhya flipped through Zeeshan’s file, her brows knitting together.

His case was… different. Unlike any patient she had ever treated before.

Something about him unsettled her.

His words seemed too carefully chosen, his expressions too calculated. One moment, he was vulnerable, lost, terrified—and the next, there was something unreadable in his gaze.

A chill ran down her spine.

Why did it feel like she was the one being studied?

She sighed, shaking her head. She was overthinking. Zeeshan was a patient. A deeply troubled one, but still… just a patient.

Then why did it feel like his presence wrapped around her like invisible chains?

Why did she feel as if the moment she stepped into his orbit… she’d never be able to escape?

Zeeshan’s POV.....

Hidden behind the slightly ajar door of Aaradhya’s office, Zeeshan watched her.

His chest rose and fell with an excitement he hadn’t felt in years.

She was frowning at his file, her soft lips pursed in concentration, completely unaware that she was already tangled in his web.

His little doctor.

His little savior.

His obsession.

A slow chuckle rumbled from his throat as he turned away, disappearing down the empty corridor.

Let the game begin.

Aaradhya Vidya Kapoor POV

The air in her office was thick with silence, the only sound being the faint ticking of the clock on the wall. The dim glow of the lamp cast shadows that danced eerily, making the room feel colder than it was. Aaradhya sighed, rubbing her temples as she stared at the thick file in front of her.

Zeeshan Iqbal.

His name was written in bold letters on the front, but it was the contents inside that sent a shiver down her spine. His symptoms matched classic psychosis—paranoia, delusions, hallucinations. But something about him unsettled her more than any other patient she had ever treated.

Most patients suffering from paranoia exhibited a lack of control—erratic speech, disorganized thoughts, frenzied expressions of fear. But Zeeshan?

He played the part too well.

Every word he spoke felt measured, calculated. His paranoia surfaced at all the right moments, his body language shifting seamlessly from vulnerable to terrified, as if he had rehearsed it a thousand times before stepping into her office.

And that look in his eyes…

The way he stared at her, so intently, so deeply, as if he was memorizing every single detail of her face. It was suffocating, like a predator watching its prey before making a move.

Aaradhya leaned back in her chair, inhaling sharply. Was she overthinking? Was she letting the weight of his presence cloud her judgment?

No.

Her instincts were screaming at her, and if there was one thing she had learned over the years, it was to trust them.

Zeeshan wasn’t just another patient.

He was something else entirely.

And for the first time in a long time, a chill ran down her spine—because it felt like she wasn’t the one in control of this therapy.

It felt like he was.

*******

Zeeshan’s POV

She was thinking about him.

Zeeshan knew it.

He could picture her sitting in that dimly lit office of hers, frowning at his file, her delicate fingers tracing over his name.

The thought alone made his pulse quicken.

Aaradhya.

She had no idea, did she? No idea how long he had waited for this. How long he had watched her from a distance, memorizing every little detail about her—her smile, her laugh, the way she tucked her hair behind her ear when she was lost in thought.

He had been patient. So, so patient.

But now?

Now, she was right in front of him. She had to talk to him. Had to look at him. Had to listen.

And oh, how beautiful she looked when she did.

She thought she was treating him. That she was the one in control.

But she was wrong.

She had been his from the very first moment he saw her. She just didn’t know it yet.

But soon…

Soon, she would.
