It's a beautiful summer day, and I am sitting in between Jace and Andi. They are holding each of my hands. While we are watching and listening to Taylor and Lauren getting married. They look amazing, but the woman standing behind Taylor is even more beautiful. She smiles to me and I mouth I love you to her, which makes her smile even brighter in that gorgeous purple dress she is wearing.
"Mommy?" I hear Andi ask with her cute little voice.
"Yes, honey?" I answer and kiss her on the top of her head. Andi looks so wonderful. I wanted to say that she was a princess today, but my little girl is not much of a princess. She was not happy when she knew her brother was going to wear a suit and she had to wear a dress. Andi had that same grumpy face as her mother and it was a struggle to hide my smile. I don't care that she is only four years old, she can wear whatever she wants to, but I got to say she is adorable. Just like her brother Jace. They are both amazing today. Jace is looking around curiously with widened eyes. Everywhere we go it looks like he is in Disneyland, so fascinated with everything.
"Did you and mom get married like this?" Andi asks with her big brown eyes. There are too many brown eyes in my family and it's melting me.
"Almost, and your mom was so beautiful," I look at my wife for a short moment.
"She was wearing a dress that looked a little like that one." I smile as I point at Taylor, who could not be happier than she is today. Laruen as well, and I know that, because I had all of this some years ago.
"I don't want a dress." Andi says, wrinkling her nose as if she was looking at the most disgusting thing she had ever seen.
"I know, honey." I chuckle.
"And you never have to wear one." Andi watches me with happy eyes and with that same huge grin as her mother also have. I think Ethan and Nathan has a big effect on Andi. She looks up to them a lot, and that might be the reason she doesn't want to wear those dresses or skirts. We always find her running around with her brother, Jace cloths. Therefore, Sky and I have just given her what she wants. Jace do not really care what he is wearing, he is more of in his own world. I don't know what is going on in his mind, but he seems very happy. He loves drawing and we always have to read him a Goodnight story before bed.
"Can I go to mom?" Andi ask, which makes me chuckle.
"No, not yet..." But she gets off her seat before I can even reach her. She steals all the attention as she runs up to her mother. Sky smiles, surprised as she sees her little girl coming towards her. She bends down and pick her up to plant a kiss on her cheek. My wife watches me with a raised eyebrow, and I just shrug with a grin. Can't really get mad about something that makes everyone smile. I just keep on watching Sky holding our daughter. Jace and Andi can't look more just like her. The perfect blond hair, the brown eyes. Andi with her reckless and Jace with the curiosity. It is all just perfect.
Ethan and Nathan have a soccer game about right now. I don't like that I am missing that, but Sara and Sky's parents are there and that means a lot for my wife and me. Can't believe they have grown so much lately, and I am scared that they will get much taller than me. How am I supposed to mess up their hair?
"Hi, beautiful." I smile as Sky comes towards me after the ceremony with my handsome little girl in her arms.
"Hi, honey." Skylar smile and then put Andi back down on the floor next to Jace. She kisses his cheek before she watches me again.
"No, No, Jace!" Skylar shout as our boy runs over to catch a dog's tail, but he misses it. Which makes Sky breath out in relief.
"Relax," I kiss her cheek.
"It's not every day he sees a dog." I chuckle and that leaves Sky thoughtful.
"Maybe we need a dog, to keep Jace on a leash." I laugh of Sky's words, but she seems nervous as she looks for him.
"Jace is fine, honey. He is just... okay, I got him." I say as I run after my little boy who is now crawling under some tables.
"Jace." I say as I grab him. He shrinks as he looks at me.
"I'm sorry, mommy" He says.
"It's okay," I kiss his forehead.
"Just be with mom and me, okay?" I say and he nods as he takes my hand in his. We find our way to Sky and Andi again, Sky breaths out.
"Calm down, I got him." I promise to my wife and she nods with widened eyes. I cup her cheek and brush my lips against hers.
"I needed that." She smile.
"Yeah, I noticed." I snort, but then Sky puts her hands on my waist and I feel her thumbs stroke me on my stomach.
"I can't wait," She leans her forehead on mine.
"For," She kisses me on the nose.
"Alex to come to this world." Skylar smile and I feel my cheeks turn warm.
"He or she will be just as amazing as Ethan, Nathan, Jace and Andi."
"It's getting too much." I grin and she raises her eyebrow.
"Hunti, are you complaining about having too many kids?" She teased, which makes me roll my eyes.
"No, I love running after them at the mall, the soccer field, and now at a wedding." I smile and Sky laughs before she put her lips on mine.
"Yeah, but now we are going to get a nanny-dog for Jace so I guess it will all be fine." My wife shrugs and I grin the only way Sky and my children can make me.
"That's true. Still, we need to buy some more clothes for Andi, before her brother must walk around naked." I say, and Skylar closes her eyes as she chuckle very low.
"Yes, that girl is as picky with cloths as you are." My wife mocks me, which makes me suck on my lower lip offended.
"I am not that... picky." I roll my eyes.
"Okay, fine, I am picky. I like sweatshirts, hoodies and jeans..."
"With holes in." Sky smile.
"You know me too well." I grin.
"Of course I do. I love you and... Andi! Don't touch that cake!" Skylar walks pass me in a hurry as she reaches for Andi before she can touch the wedding cake. My wife comes with Andi in hand in hand.
"I don't get why they have to be so..."
"You?" I say and Sky watch me insulted.
"They are not..."
"Yes, they are," I chuckle.
"They are just as curious, reckless and as stubborn as you." I say as I look at both of my children with a huge smile. The boy that didn't want to move in his mother's stomach and the girl with the soccer feet. She is going to kick every boy and girls butt when she gets older. Jace is, well, like his grandfather, Jason as Sky's grandmother said. A very creative and dreamy boy.
"Fine." Skylar mutter, giving in to me.
"They are all perfect honey, wouldn't trade any of them or you for anything." I promise her with my whole heart.
"That is for sure." Skylar agrees with me as she kisses my cheek.
"I hope Alex will be very you," Sky says and I narrow my eyes confused.
"Calm and maybe a little shy. We need a shy kid, seriously. And it would be adorable to have a child that has those blue eyes that smile and with your beautiful hair." Sky tells me as she starts to play with my brown-red hair and my cheeks turn warm as I bite my inner cheeks.
"That is what I am talking about." Sky chuckles and I roll my eyes.
"Your shyness is just adorable, Hunti. I love that about you." She smile and it affects me.
"And I love everything about you," I brush her blond hair behind her ear.
"I need you more than anything, because I would take you up from the ocean, I could pull you out from the fire, and I would tear down the whole world and drag it through hell just to see your smile." I promise my wife just the way I did when I said I do at our wedding day. Sky struggle to breathe as a tear go down her cheek.
"Oh, god. I am so sorry." I say as I wrap my arms around her. Holding her tight.
"Goddammit, Hunti!" She cry and I can't but smile to that as my heart tickle.
"I know, honey."
"I-I... dammit, I love you." Sky says and her grip around me tightens.
"You can't say things like that." She tells frustrated in tears and I snort lightly.
"I kind of have to, when my heart can't speak for itself."
