Luna awoke the next morning and was ready to head out with Lucian.

The went to her house to get packed. She really looked forward to

meeting other wolves and seeing the one responsible for her growing

up without parents put to judgement. When she got to her house, her

mother and Stepfather well, adopted parents were seated at the dining

table. It was as if they never moved.

She greeted them and went up to pack a bag. When she came

downstairs, she explained that she was going on a trip with Lucian to

meet family.

They couldn't do anything to stop her considering Lucian was her

family and had documented proof that he should have been her legal

guardian. Luna thanked them for taking care of her all her life and

assured them that she did not hate them but that she needed to learn

about herself and that could only be done by getting to know more

people like her. She couldn't tell them that she was a ware wolf since

they were quite human and had attributed the things happening to her

as low self- esteem and somnambulism.

With that she hugged her so called mom and waved goodbye to them.

She left with Lucian and within a matter of hours they came to a

wooded area with huge pine trees and a few miles in they came upon a

PRIVATE PROPERTY sign.

Luna's mother looked at Lucian as he walked away with Luna and

smiled to herself. She knew that he would be trouble for her but she

never thought that she would stand to lose Luna to him at this point.

She still needed Luna and she would get her back. She was the key to

her plan after all. She was so tired of pretending but she just needed to

hold on for a moment longer till her plan unfolds. She just wanted to

put an end to all this drama. She was now living with a man whom she

had to pretend to love in a world that she never wanted to be a part of.

But in spite of those limitations and disappointments she was flawless

in her role play. She'd be dammed if she let some wolf get the best of

her. She would destroy them before she let them win.

Luna was surprised to see a whole town in there. They were greeted by

a huge man in his mid-sixties and a grey-haired woman next to him. He

greeted my Uncle Lucian and apologized for what had transpired within

the pack.

My uncle went on to introduce me but was cut short by the woman.

“You are the spitting image of your grandmother.” Lucian cut her short

by continuing his discussion with the Alpha. My niece here Luna seems

to have acquired my mother’s gifts. She grew up with humans after her

parents were killed and needs to catch up. She needs to learn as much

as possible about our ways. I have no doubt that she will have no

trouble fitting in. Luna smiled as she did want to learn. She wanted to

know where she came from and wanted to be a part of this new world

But most importantly she wanted to see the woman responsible for her

parents’ deaths.

They were led to a beautiful house in the center of the village next to

the alpha’s mansion. “I see you didn't tear it down.” Lucian said. “Thank

you.” “I always doubted that Aurora had anything to do with this whole

mess but I had no proof. Everything pointed to her and even when Your

brother my beta pleaded with me to have mercy, I couldn't look weak

in the eyes of the pack. I had no choice but to cast them out. I quickly

came to my senses but they were already gone and you left soon after.”

“Well thank the goddess we found the witch so she can be punished so

my brother and his wife can rest.” He said to the Alpha squeezing

Luna's hands. Tears streamed down Luna's cheeks mostly out of anger.

A rage was boiling inside her. One she wished to let loose on the

woman who caused her life to be so empty. She was brought back to

reality when her uncle told her “Come on, let's go inside. When she

entered the house, she came upon a family wall with pictures of a

woman with hair just like her. She was drawn to her. The woman looked

like her only older.

“This was your grandma. She was a force. He pointed to a picture that

she recognized too well. It was the only one that she could associate

with. It was a picture of her mom and dad holding her as a baby. She

knew because the baby was white haired and the woman felt familiar.

“This was my mom? This is our family?” this was more than she

expected. She had started to feel so many feelings at once. It was

overwhelming. Luna began to shift and this time it happened so

quickly.

Luna was a great white wolf in the middle of her family home. Lucian

looked at her and gave her a hug as he sensed her pain. “It's ok. It's ok

sweetheart I know this is a lot but you are strong and you will get

through this. We will get through this together.
