I wake up to the sound of my phone ringing on the night stand. What time is it? I move Abby gently off of me and grab my phone, looking at the time. One twenty-six in the morning. I look at the caller ID on my phone to see it's Troy.
"Hello." I answer, not fully awake.
"Come to the party!" He yells through the phone. I can hear loud music playing in the background.
"No. I told you I was staying in tonight." I tell him.
"Yeah, because you were finishing up the bet. Now come celebrate. You did sleep with her, right?" He asks.
I look back at Abby, who's still asleep before getting up off the bed and leaving the room. Having sex with Abby had to be the best experience of my life, but I couldn't even enjoy it like I wanted to because of the nagging voice in the back of my head telling me how wrong I am. I know I should have told her, but the thought of her leaving me made me back out of telling her.
"Yeah, I did." I say.
"Well, come to the party and celebrate your win. Reminds me, I have your money with me." He says.
"Are you around people right now?" I ask.
"Duh. I'm at a party dumb ass." He laughs.
"Well stop talking about the bet, dumb ass. I don't need people finding out about it and it getting back to Abby." I fuss at him.
"Calm your tits. No one heard me. Just come to the party." He says.
"How am I supposed to get there?" I ask.
"Call a cab. I expect you to be here in about thirty minutes. I have to go. It's my turn to do body shots." He hangs up the phone and I shake my head.
I go back inside the room and get dressed quickly. I smile at how beautiful and peaceful Abby looks asleep. I honestly don't deserve her, but I'm glad she's mine. I put my phone and wallet in my back pocket before making my way downstairs and leaving.

The party is packed like I knew it would be. You would think people would have started leaving by now, but this is when it gets fun. All the people who can't hang leave early and the people who really know how to party stay late.
I walk around the room, looking for Troy. I spot him a few seconds later, shirtless. A girl is doing a shot off his body and everyone around them is cheering him and her on. I can't believe I used to be into stuff like this. I make my way over to them and when he sees me, he gets up off the table.
"Jordan, my man." He stumbles.
He's drunk. Of course he is. He looks around for his shirt before grabbing it away from some dude. He throws the shirt on before wrapping an arm around my shoulder and giving me a drunk smile.
"I'm glad you're here. Have a drink with your best bud." He says.
I want to protest, but that won't get far with Troy. He doesn't know how to take no for an answer. We go into the kitchen where I spot Daniel, Jake, Ryan, and some other guys. I go over to them and Troy tosses me a beer from the cooler.
"What's up? You guys not tired of partying yet?" I ask.
They left around seven something so I'm sure they're tired of looking at drunk people. Jake yawns and I can tell he's ready to leave.
"I actually think I'm going to get going." Jake says.
"Where's Alyssa?" I ask.
"Somewhere dancing." Daniel takes a drink of his beer like the answer is obvious.
"Well, I'm going to catch a cab home. I'll see you guys in the morning I guess." Jake fist pounds us all before leaving.
"I thought he would never leave." Troy says.
I narrow my eyebrows at him. "You don't like Jake all of a sudden?" I ask.
"It's not that. I actually have a surprise for you. All of you. Follow me." Troy smirks, leaving out of the kitchen.
I give Ryan and Daniel a questioning look and they shrug their shoulders, just as confused as me. The rest of the guys follow us upstairs and we enter into a dark room. What the hell is Troy up to now? The lights come on and I immediately see five girls who are only wearing a bikini and heels.
"This is for you Jordan. You won the bet and this is your prize. Along with the money! Girls, please do your job." Troy smiles at them before turning his beer up.
What the hell is wrong with him? Not only did he just tell everyone about the bet, but he hired girls to dance on me or whatever, knowing that I'm in a relationship with Abby. I try to back out of the room, but three guys from the team block my exit. I turn around to see the girls coming up to me, rubbing up and down on my chest.
"No, thank you. I'm not interested." I try to shake them off of me lightly, but they don't take the hint.
"Relax, baby." One whispers into my ear.
I move from their grip and look over at Ryan and Daniel. They both seem to be just as pissed as I am. Troy is dancing with one of the girls and I rush over to him, grabbing him by his shirt. The girl screams and I push him up against the wall.
"What the hell is wrong with you!" I yell at him.
"What are you talking about! Get the fuck off of me!" He pushes me off of him and I try to keep my cool.
"I need to talk to you in private." I say through gritted teeth. Everyone is looking at us, but I don't care.
I leave the room and he follows me out the door. I walk down the hallway close to where the bathrooms are. No one seems to be down here, so we're good.
"How the hell do you announce the bet like that in front of everyone and then you hire some half-naked girls to dance on me! What the hell were you thinking?" I yell at him.
"I was thinking my best friend wanted to have fun because he won the bet. You don't have to be with her anymore. We can go back to partying like we used to." He says.
I take deep breaths, trying to control myself from punching him in the face. This whole time I've been with Abby wasn't just a game to me. I love her. How could he not see that. I even told him I love her. Did he think I was joking?
"I fucking love her, you asshole! I don't care about these shitty ass parties anymore!" I push him against the chest and he stumbles back.
He looks pissed before letting out a small laugh. "You love her? You know, that's really funny considering the fact that you went through with the bet. You fucked her for three hundred dollars. Oh yeah, that's love." He laughs and I punch him in the face as hard as I can.
He falls to the ground, not being able to get up because he's drunk. Any other time, I would be scared to even play fight with Troy, but he crossed the fucking line.
"You know what, Troy? I shouldn't have went through with the bet. You're right. You can keep the lousy three hundred dollars. Fuck you, dude. You're supposed to be my friend! You're just a sad pathetic piece of shit of a friend. Asshole." I walk off, leaving him on the ground.
I go down the steps and leave the house. I'm beyond pissed right now and I feel like beating somebody's ass. I call a cab and wait for it to come pick me up. I don't bother telling the guys I'm leaving because they'll want Troy and me to make up. I know he's an asshole, but tonight he was acting like an asshole just for the fun of it.
The cab finally gets here and I get in. I tell the guy the address to the beach house and drives me there. I look down at my busted knuckles and immediately think of an excuse to tell Abby. She's going to want to know. Maybe I can hide it from her.
When I get to the beach house, I pay the driver and go inside the house. My phone vibrates in my back pocket and I take it out, looking at the call. It's Ryan. I press ignore and a few seconds later, my phone vibrates continuously with text messages. I turn my phone off and make my way upstairs to my room. Abby is still asleep when I walk in and I undress before laying down right beside her. I close my eyes and fall asleep, having a nightmare about a broken hearted Abby leaving me because she finds out about the bet.
