Griscent seduced Slade with illusions, whispering him to take control of Violet at her weakest. Slade refused, much to its bewilderment.
As a result, Griscent was intruding into Sladeâs memory.
âTell me your secrets, little slime,â Griscent whispered.
Tremors crumbled the caveâs walls. The background dissolved, falling like snowflakes. The ceiling vanished, uncovering a night sky.
Skyscrapers and faceless human passerby surrounded them.
Slade wobbled down from Violetâs crotch.
They were in the middle of a pedestrian plaza. The busy people ignored him. Instead, they returned home, meeting up with drinking buddies and bustling under the shining neons of shops.
The never-ending stream of cars thrummed in the background.
The monster women were lying on the ground, still recovering from their orgasm. They still played with the tentacles, disinterested in their surroundings.
âFascinating. Is that where you come from? That place isnât Atlanoth,â Griscent said.
âNo, this place is Earth. What does Atlanoth look like?â Slade asked.
âSadly, I canât show you that without another rook in the illusion. What did YOU look like?â
âWha-?â
Slade stared at his human hands, probed his wrinkled suit, and pinched his cheek.
âIâm human⦠Iâm human!â Slade shouted.
He rushed to Griscent, leaping over a sprawled dragon woman.
âHey, what do I look like?!â he asked. He peered into the reflection of the giant eyeball, hoping to see his forgotten face.
âYour face is blurry. Were your memories removed?â Griscent asked.
âAaaargh, fuck!â Slade sighed.
The Evil Eye looked around.
âSo, youâre from Earth... Thatâs why you arenât acting like an interdimensional conqueror, playing with the life of its inhabitant,â Griscent said.
The scenery dissolved again.
A bedroom replaced the bustling city night.
âWhat about your life? How did you grow up and when did you leap into Hekalys?â Griscent asked.
âAhhh! Donât look!â Slade jumped over Griscent.
The illusion showed a faceless teenager going through puberty⦠reading cultured books about female anatomy.
Violet and the female monsters approached the boy to look at the drawings. They smirked and nodded at Slade.
âWait, what are you doing to young me?â Slade shouted.
The monster women latched on to the surprised, faceless teenager. They playfully slipped their hands under his shirt, sweeping all over his body.
âFascinating tastes,â Griscent said, rummaging through the teenagerâs stash.
âOi, stop digging up those things!â
The next illusion showed a faceless young man dispassionately working at a computer with slouching shoulders.
His days repeated like an endless cycle of stagnation, devoid of positive or negative change.
âUgh⦠Donât remind me of that,â Slade whined, holding his head between his hands as his mental defenses chipped away.
He really wasnât proud of himself. He couldnât fit into his environment, losing motivation before he could work his way up on the ladders of society.
âThatâs right, I was on my way for an interview to change jobsâ¦â
The illusion followed the crestfallen man, walking in the night after a failed job interview.
A deafening quack startled the Evil Eye, walking behind the illusory Slade.
Griscent was sent flying, bumping into the lamppost like a pinball.
"It hurts! It hurts, dammit!" Griscent rolled around in pain.
But the illusion wasnât over because the young man had dodged the truck.
âFuck, what was that?!â After recovering, the Evil Eye stood up near where Slade of the past had dodged.
The truck made a U-turn.
âWait, donât tell me- NOOOO!â
*BAM!*
The illusion returned inside of the cave after a drifting truck brutally ran them over.
âGyaaaaaah!â Griscent wailed in agony.
It didnât recover right away. After all, it just got smashed into a wall.
âWait, thatâs all? You actually died in your original world?â it asked.
Slade hammered his forehead with his palms, as if trying to break it open.
âIf only I didnât die! Maybe I could find a better environment! I would have bought a house and a car! I could have met someone and started a family, like everyone else!â he screamed.
Tears of regret trickled down his blurry face. He thought about the friends and family he left behind. His short life contributed to nothing.
Slade strived for more, but it was all naught in face of death.
âI⦠If only I could return! Give me another chance, for fuckâs sake!â Slade raved as his brittle ego crumbled down.
Griscentâs tentacles stopped Slade from hitting himself. It gently stroked his head and wiped his tears.
The Evil Eye hovered closer to his ear.
âDo you know why you didnât succeed in your goals?â it whispered.
âUgh⦠No?â Slade croaked.
âThatâs because you held on to values such as loyalty, gratitude or kindness...â
âWhat kind of ridiculous-â
A female minotaur laid a finger on his lips.
âThose are only a facade to hold your society together. But I know humans. They would trample on others for their own sake when nobody else is watching,â Griscent said.
âNoâ¦â
A female medusa brought his head to her chest to soothe him.
âThe fact is that people wear masks. They pretend to be good, but they would go far beyond your imagination dor their own interests.â
âThatâs wrongâ¦â
âOnly lunatics do what they say. Not because they are upright, but because they lost the ability to hide their mad heart,â Griscent said.
âAm I⦠a lunatic?â Slade asked, despondent.
âDonât worry. You are perfectly fine for Hekalys. Stay at my side, and I will grant you more than what your sovereign can offer.â
Once again, Griscent lifted Violetâs body to present it to the young man.
âHekalys is a world of tyranny where the strong rule over everything. Cast away the chains that bind you and become a true Overlord,â Griscent said.
Slade hesitated, brushing his hand against Violetâs waist. He looked at her from above, as he was slightly taller. It was a strange change from being a slime.
She coyly averted her eyes, enjoying his touch.
âPlease let her go,â Slade said.
He wrapped his arms around her, and Griscent removed its tentacles from her.
She rested her face against his shoulder, as they were tightly knit together. It healed him, reminding him of what he could lose.
âIs it okay to be myself?â Slade asked.
âOf course.â
He removed her gagging ball and kissed her crimson lips. After their mouths parted, they stared at each other.
âThen I wonât betray her no matter what,â Slade said.
She gasped.
âYes, huh what?â Griscent stammered in confusion.
âKindness, gratitude or loyalty, those arenât chains! They are what I am made of! Can I remove my brain and yeet it away?! Hell naaaaw!â Slade shouted.
âThis world will kill you if you stubbornly walk this path! Didnât you learn from the gnollsâ betrayal?â
âIâll change when I need to change. And youâre still alive thanks to that kindness! Should I correct my past mistakes and kill you?â Slade asked.
âWhy are you going against your own gains? Against me? Against Hekalys?!â Griscent howled at his illogical choices.
âDo I have to spell it out for you, dumbass? Thatâs because I love Violet!â Slade cried his heart out.
Griscent froze and fell, not hovering anymore.
âSlade!â The illusory Violet covered her mouth with her hands.
âNo matter how unfair my death was, Iâm grateful to her for giving me a second chance,â Slade said.
âThatâsâ¦â Violet muttered.
âShe risked her life to save Milia, Shaki and me! She even had the kindness to spare you!â Slade said.
Violet cried with a big smile.
Seeing the positive reaction of her illusion, Slade regained confidence.
âI love her from the bottom of my heart! Iâll help her, even if the entire world turns against us!â Slade shouted.
âNo! No no no no no no!â Griscent said.
Violet and Slade backed away from the Evil Eye.
âHuh⦠Whatâs wrong with you?â he asked.
Griscent had collapsed into a ball of pulsating flesh.
âOf all people... You chose a sovereign?" Its voice shook.
The ball opened up, a silhouette slowly emerged from it.
âNo, you donât love her. Youâre just a loser who has never met another love interest.â
âYouâre a damn jerk, you knâ¦ow?â Slade stuttered.
The flesh crumbled down, leaving a naked brown haired woman behind. Trickling blood covered her intimate parts.
"Let me tell you why sovereign are unloved. But don't worry, you can love me instead," the woman said.
âGriscent?â
âThatâs right, Slade. Iâll give you all the sex you want. I have finished compiling all your tastes in women and fantasies,â Griscent said in a feminine voice.
She snapped her fingers, and a policewoman cosplay appeared over her body.
The monster women also changed into fake police outfits with handcuffs and clubs.
âUh-oh, weâre getting arrested~â Slade wheezed in laughter.
Getting closer, Griscent pushed Violet away and wrapped her arms around his neck.
âWait-â Violet said.
The monster women restrained her, putting their hand over her mouth and handcuffing her.
âYouâll change when you need to change? Then let me re-educate you. Iâll teach you whatâs good and bad in Hekalys,â Griscent said.
She got down on her knees and unzipped his pants.
Griscent licked his penis from the testicles to the tip.
âThank you for the meal, but how is this supposed to make me change my mind?â Slade asked, scratching his ear.
âYouâll understand after Iâve worn you down,â Griscent said.
Does she have to go to such length to influence my mind? Slade wondered.
Violet struggled, looking at him in tears. She didn't want him to be stolen away.
Don't worry, illusory Violet! Slade thought.
She gobbled his erect penis and started rolling her tongue.
âHmm?!â she blurted.
âI wonât go down without a fight!â Slade grinned as he held Griscentâs hair.
