After talking with Lyria, I felt as though I had opened up a whole new world. It was a bit shocking to hear her talk so openly about things I had never even imagined, like sparring naked or "horse play."
It seemed these activities revealed her barbarian background quite vividly.
Or perhaps, unexpectedly, they were Karaham's preferences. After all, he looked almost indistinguishable from a barbarian himself.
I wasnât really interested in the specifics of their preferences; I just wanted advice on my relationship with Ethan.
But in the end, after hearing Lyriaâs stories, it all seemed irrelevant.
'Really, what do positions or methods even matter?'
I had intentionally set some boundaries before. If Ethan made too demanding a request, I might not be able to refuse next time due to the difference in status between us.
But now? Although we werenât officially married yet, Ethan was making an effort to treat me as an equal, so if I said no, he would respect it and not push me.
I had also restrained myself out of concern that indulging Ethanâs fantasies too much might make things difficult for his former fiancée, Lainie. â¦That was a baseless worry, though, and now it felt utterly meaningless.
After all, I am and will be Ethan's only partner, and thatâs a future that likely wonât change.
So, in the end, I would be the one to accept all of Ethanâs desires. That was the duty of a wife who would not allow her husband to take any other consorts.
'For now, I should prepare tonight. Iâll make sure Iâm clean inside and out, move Erisâs cradle to Isabelâs room for the nightâ¦'@@novelbin@@
