“S…sorry.”

Sunghee hurriedly apologized and hung up. Her face was burning from embarrassment. Masturbating… That’s what she was doing just now! And this was the first time she has ever done it! Sunghee felt a little scared. It felt like… she did something she wasn’t supposed to.

When her phone rang, she answered it without thinking.

“Hello?”

She knew it was an empty flattery, but she still liked hearing it. With a small sigh, she added,

“Alright. I’ll call you when I’m ready. You’re coming to pick me up, right?”

“Yup. I’ll be there in 30 minutes.”

Perhaps Sejin lied about wanting to watch a specific movie, because he stood outside the theater for a long time contemplating what to watch. In the end, Sunghee picked out a Korean movie she heard was good, and he agreed.

But unfortunately, watching a midnight movie didn’t suit Sunghee’s lifestyle. She began to nod off within the first 10 minutes of the movie, and after 30 minutes, she leaned on Sejin’s shoulder and fell asleep.

Sunghee opened her eyes when she felt someone shaking her. She saw that the movie was over, and most of the seats were empty around her. The cleaning staff was already picking up the garbage on the floor. Sunghee blinked.

“Here.”

Sejin immediately handed her a napkin. Realizing the fact that she not only fell asleep but also drooled all over him, Sunghee blushed and wiped her mouth.

“I must’ve been really tired. I’m sorry. You took the time to take me to a movie and all…”

She apologized to him quickly, but Sejin patted her head gently.

“I can understand that you must be really tired. Tomorrow’s a weekday, so we both have work. You think you’ll be okay tomorrow?”

“I’ll be fine.”

He smiled, and they left the theater together. The theater was located within a large mall, but all the stores were closed except for the  24-hour convenience store and a night club. Sunghee rubbed her eyes and yawned while Sejin went to the convenience store. He came back with warmed up milk, and he drove her back home.

As she got out of his car, Sunghee looked at her watch.

“It’s really late. Are you sure you’ll be able to get home?”

Sejin smiled.

“I’m not exactly a kid who can’t find his way back home when it gets dark, Sunghee.”

“That’s not what I meant…”

Sunghee frowned. She couldn’t understand why she wanted him to stay with her. She didn’t want him to leave. Being with Sejin… She felt so comfortable around him. Sunghee felt so comfortable with him that she didn’t even feel embarrassed by how she drooled on him earlier.

“I’m telling you that you can spend the night at my place. We can’t… do it, obviously, but you can still just sleep.”

Sejin looked at her for a moment. Sunghee, feeling awkward, averted her gaze,  and kicked a stone nearby. Even if he says he’s leaving, she knew there was nothing she could do to stop him.

Finally, Sejin nodded.

“Alright. I’ll park my car and be there in a minute.”

Unfortunately, both of them had to work on the weekend when Sunghee’s period ended. For the following 10 days, everyone in their office was forced to work overtime because their company ended up stealing a competing agency’s contract.

After the night they went out for a movie, Sejin continued to sleep in Sunghee’s apartment, but all they did was LITERALLY just sleep. Her period was over, but because they were so tired from working hard, neither of them could do anything else when they got home. Every morning, they could barely wake up. Some days, they even forgot to walk into the office separately, but no one even noticed. All the other workers were so tired as well that no one cared. Even Yura didn’t seem to find it odd that Sejin and Sunghee arrived to work together.

But their project was finally almost over, and it was Saturday. Sunghee woke up late in the morning and cheered.

“Yay! Hooray! Today is a weekend! And we don’t have to go to work!”

Sejin, who was sleeping next to her, groaned.

“I need to get more sleep. Just one more hour please!”

“This is our hard-earned weekend, so how could you sleep it away?! That would be too boring, Sejin! Be a man! Don’t you know that a weak man can never find a good woman?!”
