Chapter 300
Wilbur nodded. They were siblings, so it was nothing out of the ordinary.
They checked into their hotel rooms. Dom and Sammy were exhausted, so they fell asleep immediately.
Wilbur started to meditate while lying on his bed.
Moose looked anxious in his room. He wanted to run, but he thought about the lightning strike, so he did.
not dare to.
âIf I do run and he catches me, I will be doomed, right?â
Moose thought it over and clenched his jaw. He thought to himself, âIt might not be such a bad thing.â With that, he started to sleep too.
The next morning, Wilbur woke up and washed up. Dom and Sammy entered his room after knocking. Moose also obediently came over.
Wilbur looked at him and asked, âYou played nice, huh?â
âI wouldnât dare have any ideas in front of you,â said Moose in a pitiful tone.
Wilbur chuckled and said, âGood. I wonât trouble you any further if you take me to your mentor and break the curse. But if you dare to play any tricks on me, you wonât be able to afford the consequences.â
âI know, I know.â Moose kept nodding.
Wilbur chuckled. They arrived at the hotel restaurant. They planned to eat well before departing.
Wilbur looked at Moose while they were eating. He asked, âYouâre a cultivator. Donât you think itâs shameless to scam those people like that?â
âIt canât be helped. I have to pay offerings to my mentor every month. I canât do that without money,â replied Moose.
Wilbur frowned and asked, âWhy does your mentor need money?â
âNot money. Sacrifices.â
âWhat did you say?â asked Wilbur while frowning.
Moose looked startled. He hurriedly replied, âItâs nothing.â
âBe honest, or else,â Wilbur threatened coldly.
His face turned red with frustration, but Wilbur was too intimidating, so he could only clench his jaw and say. âEvery month, we have to provide ten corpses to our master. If we fail the task, the curses on us will take effect, and weâll meet an untimely death.
âCorpses?â Wilbur looked shocked Dom and Sammy had their jaws dropped. They were in disbelief.
Moose nodded silently Wilbur asked with a stern expression, âSo, you harmed a lot of people, right?â
Moose hurriedly waved and said, âNo way! I only purchased them through underground channels. You know these transactions require a lot of money, so I can only scam people to fund it
Wilbur frowned and said slowly, âIt looks like your mentor is not an earnest cultivator.â
âSir.â Moose clenched his jaw at that moment. He knelt in front of Wilbur before he said, âTruth be told,

my mentor cultivates voodoo spells. His six students have been cursed, and Iâm one of them. I canât help
it.â
Wilbur helped him up and said in a low voice, âYou better explain this clearly. If what you said is true, eliminate your mentor who is the source of all this trouble.â

Moose was about to speak. Suddenly, three men and one woman walked in. One of the men saw Sammy and there was a spark in his eyes. He asked, âArenât you Sammy Shandon? What are you doing here? Are you on a tour?â
Then, he sat next to Sammy without hesitation. He stared at her face, and he was being very rude.
Sammy looked annoyed. She said, âYouâre mistaking me for someone else.â
âYouâre not admitting it, huh? Donât be stuck up even though youâre a celebrity, got it?â he said arrogantly.
Dom immediately yelled at him, âGet up. Who allowed you to sit here?â
âOh?â The other guy next to him went up to Dom and pointed right at the rude guy. He said, âDude, this is the son of our governor. You better watch your mouth.
Dom was stunned. âHeâs the son of a tyrant, no wonder heâs so arrogant.â
The governorâs son crossed his legs at that point. He looked at Dom and the others arrogantly before saying, âSammy Shandon will be staying here. The rest of you should get lost.â
