In Zhong Yueâs secret realms, there was a land of a few dozen miles that was paved with godly soil. The godly rays were hovering above the soil, making it look like a fairyland. There were a total of 32 divine herbs planted here, and some of the naughty ones pulled themselves out and ran all over the place.
In Swords Gate, there wasnât even half a divine herb while there were 32 in Zhong Yueâs secret realms!
Tian Yanzhong was completely stunned; he only knew that Zhong Yue had stolen a divine herb from the Gui Shen Celestial Race. He also heard Zhong Yue speaking disdainfully on how ordinary that divine herb was but he never wouldâve thought that Zhong Yue had so many divine herbs in his possession!
âJunior martial brother, was there like a divine herb store in Kun Lun and that you robbed?â Tian Yanzhong mumbled.
Other than the divine herbs, there were also a total of 14 weapons in Zhong Yueâs other Yuan Shen secret realm. Six of them were shrouded with a dark miasma while the other eight shone with bright rays and exuded a warm sensation!
There were 14 divine weapons!
âOh my heavensâ¦â, Jun Sixie mumbled, âWhat exactly did you done in Kun Lun?â
Zhong Yue smiled, âOther than the Gui Shen Celestial Raceâs divine herb, I got the other divine herbs myself. However, there are many divine herbs here that have their own consciousness, some are even as strong as the Heavenly Dharma Qi Practitioners, itâll be a problem if they run.â
âThe Swords Gate has become the wealthiest place in the Ancestral Star, and all of this happened in just the blink of an eyeâ¦â
Jun Sixie couldnât even keep her usual composure as she still couldnât believe what she was seeing.
In just the blink of an eye, had she become the richest headmaster of Swords Gate?
A few moments later, Jun Sixie calmed herself down and said, âItâs not a problem, we can send them into the Swords Gate secret realm, they wonât be able to escape from there. Butâ¦â
She frowned and mumbled, âThere are so many divine herbs here, if the world knows about, Swords Gate willâ¦â
Swords Gate was still weak now. Although they were now on the rise, they were still vulnerable as of now. They didnât have many experts, and if the other races were to know about Swords Gate newfound wealth, they would all swarm toward Swords Gate!
By then, there would be no question as to whether Swords Gate would be torn to the ground!
Even the gods that went into the hermit lifestyles would come out and head to Swords Gate personally!
Zhong Yue mulled it over and said, âThe only thing we can do now is to select the talented disciples from time to time and reward them with the divine herbs. This can stop the news from spreading too quickly.â
âSeems like thatâs all we can do.â Jun Sixie nodded and said, âWithout a god on our side, Swords Gate will never be safe, the risk of total destruction will always hang over our heads. Junior martial brother, although Swords Gate has many treasures, without a god, then weâ¦â
Tian Yanzhong immediately whispered, âJunior Martial Brother Zhong, the extreme states, the extreme states!â
âWhat extreme states?â Jun Sixie asked.
Zhong Yue then told them about the state of extremities he learned in Kun Lun. He cast out his Nine Revolving Inner Core and surged his Yuan Shen while also opening the Six Paths Wheel. He said, âWhen one cultivates the state of extremities, they gain the potential to transcend into the deityhood. Our Swords Gateâs cultivation techniques are lacking of the Inner Core, Heavenly Dharma, True Spirit and Imminent Deity levelâs state of extremities.â
Jun Sixie ran the thought through in her mind, and she nodded, âI felt it too, the hidden potential in the various levels. Now that you mention it, I finally understand what Iâm lacking. But itâs impossible for me to turn back and cultivate the Awakening levelâs two states of extremity anymore. But I still can make it for the Inner Core and Heavenly Dharma levels.â
Tian Yanzhong sighed and said, âI also didnât cultivate my Yuan Shen through the 200-feet limit in the Atman Body level, I wonder if I can still do it now.â
A thought suddenly flashed across Jun Sixieâs mind ,and she smiled, âI will gather the disciples now. Junior Martial Brother Zhong, you will teach us all how to do it, and we will listen to your class! If there are any Qi Practitioners that have cultivated the extreme states, they can be given higher priority, and we can nurture them! Oh yes, call Fang Jiange as well, and also Elder Shui! I want everyone possible to be in Swords Gate. Half a month later, Junior Martial Brother Zhong will be conducting the class!â
Zhong Yue then handed over the divine weapons and divine herbs to Jun Sixie. He then went back and prepared the materials for the class half a month later.
Seven days after, Zhong Yue finished systematically sorting out the cultivation levels and states of extremity. But for the True Spirit extreme state, Zhong Yue didnât know much as even Chi Xue, who told him all of this, didnât know much about it either.
Soon, Qiu Jinâer broke through to the Heavenly Dharma level. The two of them then communicated and Qiu Jinâer asked of the events that happened in Returning Ruins after she went into the closed-door training.
Although Zhong Yue was careful to omit the part with Chi Xue, Qiu Jinâer still sensed something odd.
Qiu Jinâer has also cultivated the states of extremity as well, except for the Awakening level which couldnât be recultivated.
She was the Wood Infante Spirit Body, her Yuan Shen come with her ever since she was born and surely, her Yuan Shen was able to breakthrough the 200-feet limit. However, the Nine Revolving Inner Core was something not known to the Ancestral Star, thus, she couldnât have cultivated it.
The innate spirit bodies are really strong. Their spirits are innate, and their Yuan Shen are sure to break through the limit. Probably even the state of extremity in the Heavenly Dharma level is simply achievable by them as well, Zhong Yue sighed, he lamented the fact that he wasnât blessed with this sort of gift.
It was already hard for him to keep pace with the innate spirit bodies!
Another a week or so flashed past, and most of the Swords Gate disciples had returned in Swords Gate Mountain. Zhong Yue then conducted the class right after. He told his experience about the states of extremity. Showing them with taking the skills, totem patterns and every other ways and passed down all of his knowledge.
Zhong Yue also carved the Southern Heaven Gate he saw in the Returning Ruin, and infused it into the new ãSwords Gate Visualization Artã to teach to the disciples.
The whole of Swords Gate trembled in shock. While seizing the chance that most of the disciples were here, Jun Sixie, Fang Jiange, Qiu Jinâer, Zuo Xiangsheng, Tian Yanzhong and the others have all spoken to the crowd of their experiences and knowledge.
Ever since that day, the Swords Gate disciples immersed themselves in cultivation while the higher-ups of Swords Gate also went into their respective closed door trainings to trying to cultivate the Nine Revolving Inner Core. Jun Sixie passed the responsibilities onto Zhong Yue and Shui Zianâs hands, giving them the order to keep Swords Gate safe and operational.
âJunior Martial Brother, during our time in the closed door training, you need to take good care of Swords Gateâs safety. Never ever stir on any troubles!â Jun Sixie passed the Great Boundless Divine Sword and the headmasterâs seal to Zhong Yue, âI know you liked to be adventurous and canât stay in a place for too long. But this is not the time to do so, we are all in the closed door training and Swords Gate is in your hands now. Do anything wrong and you might be the cause of Swords Gateâs demise!â
Shui Zian, who was on the side, was smiling, âHeadmaster, donât worry. Iâll be here watching over him.â
Jun Sixie nodded, âWith Elder Shui on the side, Iâm more relaxed. Elder Shui, you must look closely at him, he mustnât stir any troubles!â
The eruption of the four Devil Soul Forbidden Lands had thrown the many races into disarray. They had been suppressing the devil souls and recovering from the damages. But little did they know that Swords Gate was going through a complete revolution!
Even if they knew about it, they didnât have the enough strength to stop it as well. By the time they could finally stop the humans, the stronger Swords Gate elders would be be waiting for them.
âElder Shui, how much time do you have left?â, Zhong Yue asked.
The two of them were discussing the state of extremity in the Imminent Deity level, they researched about it but had only little progress.
Zhong Yue then asked Shui Zian, âHow long can your mortal body and Yuan Shen live?â
âA hundred for the mortal body and another 2,600 years for the Yuan Shen.â Shui Zian was placid despite knowing that his end was near. In fact, he was happy to know that humanity was in the midst of a resurgence. âThough it's a pity Iâm gonna die before you little ones.ân/ô/vel/b//in dot c//om
Zhong Yue then laughed, he said, âThatâs hard to say. Elder Shui, do you still have the token I gave you?â
Shui Zian took out the token, and his heart turned vigilant as he said, âWhat do you want to do? This is my last token! All of the other tokens were used by you! All of them! The last time you attacked the Fiery Capital, I gave out a batch of the tokens, then the last time when Headmaster Jun takes the place, I gave out another batch again, and the last last time I brought you out from the West Barren, I gave out another batch again! Am I like a fortune giver or something like that?!â
Zhong Yue gave a dry laugh, he said, âIf you return the token back to me, I can give you a big return on your investment.â
Shui Zian was even more vigilant as he said, âWhat return? If itâs ordinary, then you might as well forget. Iâll cash this in once youâve ascended into deityhood.â
Zhong Yue then took out the Peaches of Immortality he got from the mother tree, he smiled and answered, âHow about a thousand years of longevity? This is the Peach of Immortality from the mother tree planted by Reincarnation Saint Monarch himself. This thing can grant you a thousand more years and its seed can grow into a new Immortality Peach Tree. But as it's not the mother tree, the peaches it bears can only give 300 years of longevity.â
Shui Zian was completely stunned, he exclaimed in shock, âIs there really such a treasure?â
Zhong Yue quickly tucked the Peaches of Immortality into Shui Zianâs hands while he took back the token, he smiled and said, âBe prepared, you might be able to live eternally with the Peaches of Immortality. I think this token is best to be back with me.â
Shui Zian raised the Peaches of Immortality up and was still in disbelief. While Zhong Yue swiped his hand across the token and turned into dust. Zhong Yue said while smiling, âElder Shui, donât eat the seed please, we still need it to grow into a new Immortality Peach Tree.â
Shui Zian nodded happily, he said, âMy teeth canât possibly be strong enough to eat a divine fruitâs seed. I will go into seclusion nowâ¦â
Just as he was going to leave, he suddenly stopped. He turned his head around and said, âBut Headmaster Jun has tasked me to look after you. She doesnât want you to stir anymore troubles. If I go into the closed door training, then who will look after you?â
Zhong Yue laughed, he replied, âGrand Elder Shui! Iâm not a troublemaker, Iâm in Swords Gate, how do you think stir any troubles when I canât even leave from the mountain?â
âTrueâ¦â, Shui Zian nodded and left happily.
Zhong Yue shook his head and said, âWhy does everybody think so poorly of me⦠Oh yes, why is the sword in Swords Gate still unmoving?â
Xin Huo suddenly leaped into his vision and said, âOf course it wonât! That sword has a master and without meeting its master yet, it wonât move a single inch at all.â
âMaster of the sword?â Zhong Yue was startled and asked, âBut who will be the swordâs master?â
Xin Huo pondered and said, âMust be someone with a great background.â
A thought flashed across Zhong Yueâs mind and he said smilingly, âI know! The sword master is already, here in Swords Gate!â
He turned incredibly energetic, rushing toward Shao Dia and Fu Baoâs palace. As soon as he entered the palace, he saw Fu Bao playing with the child. Xuan Yuan was now already one and half years old, he could walk steadily but still somehow preferred crawling the ground.
Zhong Yue walked toward them and he said with a smile, âSister-in-law, please lend your son Xuan Yuan to me for awhile.â
Fu Bao was surprised, she asked curiously, âJunior Martial Brother Zhong, what do you want him for?â
âDonât worry. Itâs something good!â, Zhong Yue hugged the little child and brought him all the way to the golden summit. Xin Huo leaped out again and whispered to him, âDidnât your Elder Shui asked you to not stir any troubles?â
âIâm just trying to test if we can take out the sword, how is this stirring trouble?â, Zhong Yue then answered with confidence.
Xin Huo then heard mumbled, âWhy do I have a bad feeling about thisâ¦?â
