Xin Huo fell on his shoulder and said in a solemn tone, âGet your head right, young man! Itâs the spirit of a Heavenly Monarch, youâll need at least a thousand years of to acquire the spirit of a Heavenly Monarch! And even that is a slim possibility!â
Zhong Yue shook his head, âXin Huo, Iâm very clear on my path. This is the path I decided to walk on, not the path people granted it to me. I chose it myself and I will see it to the end. But my intelligent is limited, I need the Heavenly Monarch to give me some advice!â
Xin Huo sighed, he stopped persuading Zhong Yue.
âThe Fuxi, our most common name always consist of the word, âYiâ, do you know why, my young descendant?" Haoyi asked, his voice trembled with ancient power.
âYi?â
Zhong Yue startled, he bowed and answered, âThe word âYiâ is composed of a sun on the top and a moon below.â
Haoyi Fuxi said, âYi, the sun as its head and the moon as its body.ân/o/vel/b//in dot c//om
âHuman head and snake body?" Zhong Yue was dawned, the word âsunâ resembled a head and the word âmoonâ resembled the body of a snake. âYiâ was in fact, a representation of the Fuxi form!
This was part of the reason why all the renowned Fuxi had âYiâ in their names.
âYoung child, do you know how to write âYiâ?" Haoyi Fuxi continued asking.
Zhong Yue was puzzled, Haoyi Fuxi just told him what âYiâ was and he explained to the Earthly Sovereign as well. Why was the Earthly Sovereign asking him how to write the word âYiâ now?
Haoyi Fuxiâs voice said right after he asked, âThe word âYiâ resembles the Fuxi, can you write a Fuxi?â
Zhong Yue was bewildered, he shook his head. The word âYiâ resembles the Fuxi, but how could one write out a Fuxi?
He was asked to decode a simple word and yet, all of a sudden, his wide and deep knowledge in the world suddenly seemed so trivial.
Haoyi Fuxi continued, âThen, I shall teach you how to write, a proper âYiâ word.â
As he finished saying, âYiâ character shone brightly in front of Zhong Yue. It was solemn, grand and filled with an ancient aura. It looked like a bright sun with all the other stars and planets centered around it, it looked like a snake, a dragon that soared and waltzed high up to the heavens.
The word didnât look like a word anymore, it felt as if it were alive. Chants reverberated through the palace, as if there were Fuxi chanting about the abstrusities in the Dao, as if there were livings worshipping the word.
Then, âYiâ suddenly flashed into Zhong Yueâs forehead and disappeared.
And the palace regained its usual atmosphere.
âI had the spirit of Fuxi when I was alive, but you donât." Haoyi Fuxi said, âThis is all I can do for you, young child. You want to turn your soul into the True Spirit, this is a path that has hitherto never been walked. Measure your capabilities when trudging down this path that may lead you to an unknown end.â
A bright ray flew out from the Fuxi Heavenly Monarchâs corpse and reentered the Void World. The Heavenly Monarchâs mortal body then sank into the coffin, and the coffin returned back to its place deep within the imperial tomb.
The golden rays faded like the ebbing tide as it gradually disappeared.
âThatâs it?" Xin Huo was in disbelief, he was huffing unwillingly as he said, âMonarch Haoyi, how stingy! There is only one and a half Fuxi left in this world and Brat Yue is the half, if you donât teach him a little more, at least give him something, any treasures in this imperial tomb. If not, give him the little girl Haoyi Zither!â
âHow dare you call the Earthly Sovereign stingy, he even burnt his spirit essence just to see your half Fuxi!" The little girl on the Haoyi Zither was unpleased, she flared her eyes at Xin Huo, âFurthermore, why should I be given to him? Little flame, bad flame, you and I already have so many unsettled matters but you still continue to irk me. You still havenât taken responsibility for robbing my without asking all those times! The imperial tomb does not welcome you, you may leave now!â
Xin Huo laughed, âMonarch Haoyi is so stingy, are you as stingy as well? Little Sister Zither, you must have many treasures inside your imperial tomb, there is no use for you to keep them in the corner collecting dust. Why donât you give me a piece or two? Even if you donât want to give it to Brat Yue, you can give it to me.â
The little girl smirked frigidly and the zither sound rammed through the space barrier. Zhong Yue and Xin Huo were pushed into the space rift and were sent out from the imperial tomb.
In the blink of an eye, Zhong Yue was already back in Yu Wenjuâs Yuan Shen secret realm, still standing in front of the scale mirror. If it werenât for the fact that he knew it was all real, he mightâve mistaken it all for a dream.
âBrat Yue, you should have really chosen the Fuxi spirit." Xin Huo sighed and lamented. He rolled his eyes and said with a nefarious grin, âWe just saw Monarch Haoyi, he gave you too little help. Why donât we proceed to the other Fuxi Heavenly Monarchs? Other than Haoyi Monarch, there is still the first Fuxi Heavenly Monarch, Monarch Yiyi, then Monarch Shiyi, Monarch Taihao ⦠Someone among them must be generous enough!â
Zhong Yue shook his head and smiled in spite of himself, he told Xin Huo, âThere is no need for that Xin Huo. Haoyi Fuxi already explained and cleared my doubts. There is no need to disturb my ancestorsâ peace.â
âHe cleared your doubts? When did that happen?" Xin Huo asked puzzlingly, âThe answer is that âYiâ word? Give me some time and I can write a few thousand âYiâ characters for you.â
Zhong Yue shook his head and ignored the noisy little flame. He looked into his psyche ocean and saw the golden shining âYiâ word hovering in the air. It was like a sun like a moon, ⦠a worldly representation of Fuxi.
Monarch Haoyi did not write âYiâ, he wrote Fuxi.
There were infinite abstrusities hidden within this Fuxi, waiting for him to explore them on his own. The chants of the Fuxi helped him even more, greatly inspiring him to think deeper and wider.
The chants were able to enhance oneâs intelligence, allowing the listenerâs senses to become sharper. This greatly helped him in comprehending and understanding its mysteries!
Xin Huo held a wealth of knowledge and heritage that he was able to pass onto his inheritors; however, he couldnât really directly guide and answer the deeper questions.
He was a unique existences created by the first Sui Sovereign, a one of a kind specimen who had an indispensable importance. Yet, there were still things he simply couldnât do.
Haoyiâs âYiâ had answered all the doubts Zhong Yue in his cultivation path.
Yi, Fuxi ⦠it is truly amazing, Zhong Yue studied the âYiâ word in his psyche ocean. It was a word, but it felt like he was actually studying on a Fuxi Heavenly Monarch. The changes of the Fuxi totem patterns, the body structure of the Fuxi Heavenly Monarch, the composition of soul and spirit and also the Yuan Shen, the cultivation arts and techniques, and much more.
Yu Wenjuâs inner core was depleting at an incredible rate, his Huaxu bloodline was being refined at a great speed, causing his Fuxi bloodline to greatly enhance!
The more he attained from the Fuxi âYiâ word, the faster his bloodline was refined and the more energy was needed. The monster godâs inner core was exactly the source of energy for him in the whole process. Thus, Yu Wenjuâs inner core was being catabolized at an accelerating rate!
Time continued to pass, and unbeknownst to him, he had spent all his time and energy in comprehending and attaining the abstrusities within the âYiâ word. The more he studied, the more questions he had in mind, and the hungrier he become for more knowledge.
If he had asked for a piece of the Fuxi spirit from Monarch Haoyi, he would be able to cultivate the True Spirit on the spot and greatly enhance his prowess. But that would also mean that he would give up the opportunity to further refine his Fuxi bloodline as well as truly enlighten himself on the Fuxi Clan.
Although being given just a word sounded trivial, it had brought him greater benefits than he couldâve ever asked for!
What was more important was that, through studying the âYiâ word, Zhong Yue attained the abstrusities within the Fuxi Clanâs mortal body, Yuan Shen and bloodline. That could greatly help him in cultivating his soul into the True Spirit!
The more he understood about the Fuxi spirit, the higher the success rate of him cultivating his soul into the True Spirit would be.
Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime. What Monarch Haoyi had given to him was exactly how to make a net and fish on his own.
After a long time, Zhong Yue could tell his attainments in the âYiâ word had reached a bottleneck. Although there were still many unknown mysteries and knowledge within the word itself, his currently limited comprehensions refrained him from attaining anymore. It was only when he knew he had reached a bottleneck was he willing to stop and stand up.
I wonder if the scale mirror can reflect any abstrusities from the word? He thought and quickly turned to the scale.
The scale was smooth like a mirror, it reflected Zhong Yueâs image in it and also his psyche ocean. The âYiâ word also been reflected in the mirror while seemingly undergoing a multitude of changes.
Zhong Yue looked carefully at it and was overjoyed, there were really many abstrusities that he never attained that were reflected in the mirror!
However, even when the mirror can reflect everything, the abstrusity in the âYiâ word were changing at an incredible rate. The longer the reflection lasted in the mirror, the more unclear the âYiâ word became. Clearly, even the scale mirror couldnât seen through the abstrusities in it.
While scale mirror limited has use on the âYiâ word, but its still really amazing enough, Zhong Yue praised.
He never hoped that he could attain and comprehend everything in just such a short while. So, he quietly sat down before the mirror and slowly studied again.
The more he studied it, the harder he found it to proceed. Even with the help of the mirror, he couldnât continue.
Iâm at the limit of my cultivation level now already, anything else would be beyond my current perception.
Although there were many other abstrusities the mirror could reflect from the âYiâ Word, his current cultivation level limited his understandings.
Now, I might just be able to cultivate the Fuxi True Spirit?
Zhong Yue yelled sternly, his divine third eye opened and his eyes reflected the sun and moon. Three divine lights shot out into the mirror and were reflected into his Yuan Shen.
His inner core emerged and essences billowed like a raging ocean toward his Yuan Shen.
Behind him, Long Yue and Bo Xun both surged their Yuan Shen, psyche, arcane energy, inner core and totem patterns into him.
Meanwhile, the divine herbs also gushed their medicinal efficacies into his Yuan Shen, helping him cultivate the True Spirit!
His Yuan Shen grew clearer and looked more real, soon, it reached the most crucial point of the whole process!
Attainments surged out from Zhong Yueâs mind and they turned into totem patterns that were engraved into his soul.
These totem patterns were the totem patterns of the Fuxi Clan, the natural talents of the Fuxi Celestial Race. although he attained these talents, his weak Fuxi bloodline precluded him from casting them out. However, these totem patterns were recorded in his mind and he engraved them into his soul!
This is it, make it happen!
He suddenly raised his hand and pointed at his forehead. The Fuxi blood surged out from his body and deluged his Yuan Shen. The blood merged with the totem patterns, becoming eternally engraved in his soul!
The word âYiâ (æ), is composed of two major parts, the top æ¥ and the bottom æ. Also, the word âYiâ, literally means changes.
