The little flame was incensed; the Heaven Origin Reincarnation Mirrorâs core had been shattered and the mirror and Heavenly Monarch Tian Yuanâs Six Path Reincarnation were sliced apart. Such power was not something Zhong Yue was capable of.
The cause of the mirror spiritâs sudden death was certainly because of the shattered core.
With the core shattered, the mirrorâs power deteriorated and along with the mirror spiritâs death, the mirrorâs power deteriorated even further until it even descended into an Imperial Emperor level divine weapon from the grades of imperial weapons.
âXin Huo, Iâm that fool youâre talking about,â said Zhong Yue out of nowhere before he explained what happened to Xin Huo.
The little flame was caught off guard by Zhong Yue and he stared at Zhong Yue with a very shocked expression. Zhong Yue scratched his head and asked, âWhat?â
Xin Huo recollected his thoughts, shook and said, â30 billion years⦠That is way too long. Even I would have been extinguished by then, but you managed to overcome it.â
He was dumbfounded; when he went into slumber for 730,000 years, he woke up to a whole new world, yet Zhong Yue lived by himself within the mirror for 30 billion years.
30 billion years of solitude, just how did he get through this?
Zhong Yue smiled and replied, âI lived at most 3,000 years in each life in there. In some cases, I only managed to survive a hundred years long before I got killed again. In each of those lives, I would write down the experiences and knowledge Iâve acquired onto the walls and floors, thus, I spent less time in every life after that. However, in each life, I managed to learn new things, which were all written onto the walls and floors, hence, that place became filled with my scribbles. There are even totem pattern recordings in the air.â
It was impossible for Xin Huo to shed tears, but after hearing Zhong Yueâs story, he was on the verge of crying.
The longest was 3,000 years old and the shortest was 100 years old, just how many times was Zhong Yue reborn throughout these years? How many times had he stood before the Heaven Origin Reincarnation Mirrorâs core and Heavenly Monarch Tian Yuanâs Reincarnation alone to study them.
Just by briefly thinking about the loneliness Zhong Yue had suffered, Xin Huo couldnât help but shiver.
The most terrifying thing in the world was to experience the same thing over and over again in an endless cycle with no certainty of escape.
And that was Zhong Yueâs reality for 30 billion years. Fortunately, he managed to identify the flaws within the mirror and capitalized on them to work towards his escape. Like water drops endlessly striking a rock, Zhong Yue shattered the Imperial Emperorâs Innate Dao totem patterns and pierced the mirrorâs core.
Thus, not only did he save himself, but he also saved Xin Huo.
âBrat Yue, you truly are the most stubborn person Iâve met,â said Xin Huo.
Zhong Yue was left speechless by Xin Huoâs words and as he took out the Innate Divine Saber formed by the Heavenly Monarchâs scepter, he said, âTake a look at this. I used this saber to slice the mirror apart but what is strange was that the Innate Qi coming from the saber tip was not my own Qi. I have no idea where this Qi came from.â
Innate Qi was also a form of energy and Zhong Yue was sure that he had never cultivated this Qi.
At this time, the Innate Qi was still extremely powerful and it was far stronger than all of the Innate Qi he had cultivated!
Xin Huo examined the innate divine saber and he said, âWithin this Innate Qi is contained the Fuxi Celestial Raceâs draconic scale secret that could reflect everything. With your current level, it is impossible for you to cultivate such Innate Qi, not to mention you have yet to awaken your innate dragon scales. This is what we call Dao Qi, a type of Qi on a completely different level to other types of Qi. When Goddess Hou Tu shed her previous innate body, vaporized her innate celestial blood and condensed her Pure Dao Body, the Qi within her is similar to the one in your hands now.â
Zhong Yue had a shock and he shouted, âHow is this possible for me?â
âOf course it is not possible for you. This Innate Dao Qi is probably the remnant Qi that was residing in the Heavenly Monarchâs scepter. My guess is that this scepter once gave birth to its own spiritual consciousness and it chose you as its master to use your body and your cultivation to repair itself. As for how did this Innate Dao Qi suddenly became so strongâ¦â
Xin Huo thought and said, âEver since the Six Paths by Fuxi and Reincarnation by Hou Tu, the only one who could cultivate the same Innate Dao Qi as Goddess Hou Tu was the last Fuxi Heavenly Monarch. Perhaps when you passed by the Imperial Road, the Fuxi Heavenly Monarchâs unbending will detected the danger upon you, which prompted it to channel the remaining Innate Dao Qi to you? Or was it that this scepter knew that you were in danger, thus, it absorbed the Innate Dao Qi on its own?â
A clueless Zhong Yue then asked, âXin Huo, can the core be fixed after being split in half?â
âItâs not that easy,â said Xin Huo, âMaybe having countless living beings worshipping the mirror, it would repair itself after a million years and give birth to a new mirror spirit. The mirrorâs power however, might not be as terrifying as it was by then. How about this? With my own way, I will replace the mirror spirit to allow you to activate this item.â
âWill we be able to get out that way?â shouted Zhong Yue happily.
âThere is nothing Master Xin Huo canât do!â bragged Xin Huo.
The little flame then flew towards the ruins where the mirror and the Six Paths Reincarnation that Zhong Yue had split apart remained standing strong and still. In between the broken mirror, there were still totem patterns that were connected, sparkling fire from time to time.
However, Zhong Yue struck his saber onto the crack in this mirror throughout the 30 billion years. Initially, this crack was fixed by the Imperial Emperorâs Innate Qi, but now, with the Innate Qi broken by Zhong Yue, the crack within this mirror enlarged even more.
âBrat Yue, give me the knowledge youâve acquired in the 30 billion years, then lend me your strength so that I can fix the Six Paths Reincarnation and the mirror to have them patched up!â
Hearing this, Zhong Yue immediately handed over what Xin Huo asked for and allowed his strength to be utilized by Xin Huo.
After quite some time of examination on the mirror, Xin Huo finally moved; with Zhong Yueâs power, Xin Huo created totem patterns that gradually linked and patched the split Six Path and mirror back.
As soon as the mirror was patched, the ground trembled and countless rocks, slabs, and tiles flew out from the ground, arranged themselves and formed a perfect palace.
Far away, the pavilions and other buildings crashed into each other before the debris merged and turned into long hallways, which formed into a huge maze.
The awestruck Zhong Yue was stunned completely; this maze which trapped him for 30 billion years and after pouring immense effort to destroy it, the maze had now restored right before his eyes without any scratches!
In a similar way, Xin Huo had also fixed the broken Six Path Reincarnation created by Heavenly Monarch Tian Yuan. This little flame floated among the Six Path Reincarnation, which circled around the mirror and he said, âBrat Yue, you are still too weak now. I can only keep this up for 15 minutes and everything will return to the original state again.â
âThen can we get out of here?â asked a nervous Zhong Yue.
âOf course!â replied Xin Huo confidently, âIf the little girl mirror spirit can do it, then Master Xin Huo can pull it off as well! Give me a second, let me stimulate the mirrorâs power.â
The completed Heaven Origin Reincarnation Mirror was actually a huge continental, a mirror that contained endless space within itself, filled with countless treasures left behind by the Heavenly Monarch and sacred grounds!
Now, with Xin Huo as the mirror spirit, he channeled power into these sacred grounds and in an instant, pillars of light rained down from the skies, merging into one light pillar which shot all the way up into the skies!
Zhong Yue looked at the light pillar and he was immensely shaken at the sight.
This light pillar was astonishingly huge and it contained the wonders of Heavenly Monarchâs Dao, whose power was unreasonably strong that the likes of Zhong Yue would be vaporized even before he could get close to the light pillar!
âHuh? Thereâs something trying to stop us from leavingâ¦â said the surprised Xin Huo.
Meanwhile, just as the light pillar skyrocketed, a yellow paper appeared in the sky. There were alluring totem patterns all over the yellow paper and as buzzing noise sounded, this paper enlarged and sealed the entire heaven and earth within this mirror!
Right away, totem patterns spread out all over the skies, danced like dragons, slithered like serpents and sparkled lightning menacingly.
Then, these totem patterns rotated and faced towards the light pillar before they swarmed towards it, shook the heaven and trembled the earth while arrays of light scattered everywhere.
âIt looks like the Realm Monarch Bo Luoâs skills. Itâs similar to the [Innate Saint Mystic Ritual Art] but itâs different at the same time.â
Zhong Yue was in awe and he couldnât help but praise the Creator level totem patterns all over the skies. These totem patterns were created based on the [Innate Saint Mystic Ritual Art] and as one who cultivated [Innate Saint Mystic Ritual Art], Zhong Yue was no stranger to these totem patterns.
âWhat is Realm Monarch Bo Luo?â said an excited Xin Huo, âBrat Yue, Iâm gonna need all of your psyche to manipulate even more power in this mirror!â
Without hesitation, Zhong Yue allowed Xin Huo to have full control over his psyche. With that, the sacred grounds, spiritual mountains, and even oceans were all under Xin Huoâs command; Xin Huo had the arrays of light gathered around, which caused the Heaven Origin Reincarnation Mirror to light up brightly and evaporated the totem patterns all over the skies!
The yellow paper was knocked back into its original state and it burnt into ashes.
âLetâs go!â
A power wrapped around Zhong Yue and teleported him out of the mirror.
Zhong Yue suddenly lost control of his body and when he opened his eyes again, he was already outside of the mirror. The five-foot-tall mirror was floating beside him and the yellow paper had been burnt into ashes.
He also felt that his psyche was completely drained away and the dizziness prompted him to quickly consume a godly herb from his Yuan Shen secret realms.
Meanwhile, Xin Huo flew out from the mirror and settled himself on Zhong Yueâs shoulder, âThere are countless divine herbs in this mirror. Wait here while I bring you some.â
As his psyche moved, a few godly herbs flew out from the mirror and fell into Zhong Yueâs hands; these divine herbs were at least 10,000 years old and they all possessed incredibly strong medical efficacy.
After consuming the herbs, Zhong Yue finally felt better.
âThis isâ¦â He looked around quickly, only to have his expression changed drastically as he exclaimed, âThis is?â
There were an endless amount of gigantic divine weapons floating around; some as long as heavenly rivers, some as bright as the sun, some were holy divine weapons that were saint and sacred and some were demonic divine weapons which were sinister and menacing.
Somewhere even further away, he even saw rain dew being collected into a ball by someone, which turned into a gigantic water ball in the size of a planet, floating quietly while it circled around a sun.
And that sun was made of the purest Pure Yang Demonic Fire that was blazing!
âOh my heavens⦠What is this place?â
Xin Huo too, was stunned and when he looked at a door, he realized that this door stood all the way into the clouds and it was an ancient one. He then murmured, âThis door⦠It looks like that Southern Heaven Gate in the ancient eraâ¦â
The young man and the flame exchanged glanced and they shouted at the same time, âWeâre rich!â
