Barbados: The Blood Moon Pack
It was glorious, the smell of werewolf blood. It was something Cain thrived off. As it soaked the soil, dead bodies littered the land... men, women, children even babies. Cain left nothing in his wake. An entire pack wiped out even the team of council warriors didn't stand a chance against him of course, not to forget his pets. One little bite had royal Mason dropping to Cain's feet, much like his friend the great royal Xavier. Cain was beginning to think their titles were just for show. These royals couldn't even defend themselves against his pets. He had wished for a better fight, one he could enjoy. May be he would get it, with Ethan and Ryder. The thought brought a twisted dark smile to his face.
Turning from the pack grounds drenched in blood he was followed by about fifty of the creatures or as the witches call them the walkers. These zombies like creatures were unlike anything ever seen before. Logically they were dead yet still the witches reborn them, from werewolves to what they were today. The rate of failure was extremely high, the stronger the werewolf the higher chance of survival but obtaining high level wolves was difficult. They mainly got rouges and the few pack members in between.
The method of transformation was gruesome, lengthy and delicate and it all starts with a bite. The very reason why the creature would break its victims' necks before the change could start. Success was about one in every hundred and over the years became what stood behind Cain. Even after taking two hundred years of making them the perfect weapon against the werewolves and carrying the venom the walkers didn't obey anyone. They were mindless creatures so the witches gave them a master, Cain. Binding them to him and ingraining water talismans into their bodies created the perfect killing machine to finally bring down the werewolves.
Stepping into the ocean Cain could sense his first creation approaching, number one and the strongest of them all. He had sent her ahead so that she can create a trap. She would go first and turn the hybrid human before he approached with his army. He had a glimpse of the Hybrid's true powers before and he wasn't about to underestimate her again. He submerged into the ocean with his army close behind while keeping an air bubble around his face. The others though didn't need air, they were already dead. Walking the ocean's floor allowed them to stay hidden from the werewolf council. Water is the only thing that can block a supernatural presence. By the time the werewolf council figured out Cain's trap it would be too late. Smiling that evil twisted smile once again his plan was finally in motion. The hybrid was human and he just couldn't wait to get his hands on her.

Tobago: The Crescent Wolf Pack
The whirling sounds of choppers approaching could be heard from the open wall in the alpha's bedroom. Five black hawks came into view and one by one they landed. The first four at equal ends of the training field, north south, east and west. Then lastly the fifth descended directly in the centre. Warriors from the first four hurried to exit their choppers forming an impenetrable circle around the one in the centre and those already gathered hurried to their knees, not that they had much choice. With the amount of dominance radiating off the last chopper, many had difficultly to just stay standing.
As the last chopper's whirling sounds died down the door opened and out stepped Royal Ivan, the third strongest royal and the head of the council's personal guards. Royal Lucas followed the council's second strongest royal and their battle expert on Ivan's left and, Noble Cole the council's weapons specialist took Ivan's right. All the whispering died down and a hush fell over the wide training field. Many here has never seen this many powerful warriors together before. It was the full entourage but understanding dawned as the next figure stepped out.
Demetrius emerged followed by Aries and Roderick. As they came to stand behind Ivan, Lucas and Cole flanked them. Instantly a wave of dominance washed over everyone, some struggled under the pressure while others basked in it. Never before has the council left the headquarters, one wrong move and the entire world could be at stake reason being for such large amounts of security. With a small wave of his hand, Demetrius allowed everyone to stand though some struggled to do so. As a deathly silence ensued only the sound of weapons clinking and footsteps could be heard as the six moved forward towards the pack house and the outer protective circle moved with them, never allowing the council to be exposed.
Nearing the back entrance of the pack house Demetrius stopped and instantly all others followed his lead freezing where they stood. A large hole stood before them and above was a gaping wall, looking up Demetrius locking eyes with Ethan avoiding the hothead Ryder who was the first to jump out with Emma in his arms landing perfectly right outside the circle. Rushing forward the circle parted allowing him entry as Ryder growled, he was angry Demetrius lied to them. Ethan quickly scooped up Alice following in Ryder's footsteps as he jumped out with a squealing Alice who was now clutching at his shoulders as he too landed perfectly before entering the circle. Coming to stand next to Ryder, Ethan placed Alice back on her feet quickly aware of the uncomfortable emotions he felt when near her. However she crumbled to the ground at the lethal amount of dominance in the air and being a runt she couldn't even stand. Reluctantly Ethan grabbed her before she cloud hit the ground and once again scooped her up keeping her in his arms much like Ryder. Demetrius raised an eyebrow while Roderick and Aries looked on curiously at Ethan's weird behaviour with the female.
"Why didn't you just tell us the truth?" Ryder growled out angrily.
"So you figured it out." Demetrius stated without any guilt.
"We had no choice. We didn't want you two doing anything unnecessary." Aries added.
"We are now her personal guards you at least owed it to us." Ethan spoke more calmly glancing at Ivan whose jaw was tightly clenched. He knew Ivan couldn't wait for Emma to take over so that he can become her personal guard. He believed he had a debt to repay since Emma saved him from becoming a monster after his mate died. Since then he was completely loyal to her even more than the council itself.
"I'm sorry but it had to be done." Roderick spoke being the only one that looked regretful.
"Enough, time is of the essence." Demetrius spoke dangerously low. Everyone grew quiet once again.
"Let's go, you three need to leave now." Demetrius spoke walking towards the forest. The spell needed to be done near a large water mass. So he intended to go back to where it all started, on the cliff. He was about to have Mathew lead when Ethan spoke up.
"Five..." He spoke softly as all eyes turned to him in confusion. Demetrius glanced at the tiny brunette in his arms once again as understanding finally dawned. Looking back at the pack house he can now see two other warriors bringing an unconscious high level pack member out, mostly likely the ex-alpha.
Glancing back at Ethan he continued.
"Us five need to leave. The ex-alpha and the runt need to come as well."
"I understand the ex-alpha but the runt?" Demetrius asked confused while Ryder grew irritated, why does everyone think this idiot needs to come too?
"They can't be separated trust me, I'll explain to you in private after we get to safety. Right now we need to leave." Ethan pleaded urgently.
With a fine, Demetrius quickly marched forward as Mathew lead the way. In a few minutes they neared the famous cliff.
Ever wondered why a supernatural presence can't be felt under water? It's because water was a means of transport to both heaven and hell. Their gates lie somewhere deep in the ocean and to hide its location god made water a neutralizer. It blocks all super presence and in some case even the magic itself like with the Bermuda triangle and the rumored mermaids. In order for the teleportation spell to work the council will need a large water mass to use as a vehicle, it would make the process easier. The spell is still doable on land but with much difficultly. It was already changeling considering only high level dark witches can do what the council was about to so without the help of water would make it almost impossible, something only the witch council themselves could accomplish.
Stepping up to the side of the cliff Demetrius motioned for Ivan and the other guards to fall back giving them some space. Lucas took half the warriors and headed to the northeast side of the island. Ryder placed Emma down though with reluctant and Ethan followed. Alice was too weak to stand or even sit near such high levels of dominance leaving her lying on the ground next to Emma. Roderick and Aries were now knelt next to Emma as Demetrius looked on from his spot with the cliff behind him. He knew she was a human, they all did but it didn't stop the other two from trying to wake her, though considering she literally came back from the dead that wasn't happening anytime soon. She might sleep for another few days before waking. Just then a warrior stepped forward with the ex-alpha placing him next to Emma before retreating to the others. Silence followed as Demetrius firm voice echoed throughout the clearing.
"We have twenty minutes at most. Let's start."
On cue a servant came forward with an aged wooden box passing it to Aries before stepping back and Demetrius finally stepped forward joining the other two next to Emma. Roderick opened the box to reveal a chalice used for blood magic, looking as old as time itself. Aries lifted her limp right hand as flash of sliver from Demetrius caused Roderick to flinch slightly looking away. Aries now held the chalice under her hand while Demetrius brought a small sliver knife to her palm but before it could make contact a loud menacing growl erupted from behind him. The three freeze, their eyes automatically going to a still unconscious ex- alpha mate in confusion. The growl sounded way too possessive to belong to anyone else but her mate. The wolf behind them sounded close to shifting, if not the ex-alpha then who.
Turning they meet the pitch black eyes of Ryder. His wolf was furious but why? His wolf should have no interest in anything here. What could have sparked his anger?
"What are you doing?" He growled out accusingly glaring at the knife in Demetrius' hand.
With one glance to Ethan, Demetrius turned again leaving Ryder in Ethan's hands. Time was running out and he didn't have time for Ryder's random outburst. As he focused on filling the chalice with Emma's blood he could hear Ethan explaining in low whispers to a furious Ryder.
"They have to use her blood. They don't have that kind of power to do such a spell, especially if it's going to be used for the five of us. The magic running through her blood will be enough. Calm down we have no choice. It's the only way to keep her safe." As the last of Ethan words settled Ryder finally calmed down. Black eyes turned forest green but there was something else there, a hint of gold remained for a few more seconds before disappearing. His behavior was further confusing Ethan. Why was Ryder's wolf so affected by Emma getting hurt?
When the council had first saved Emma two hundred years ago, they knew they couldn't let the witches get their hands on her again so they developed a backup plan. In the event the witches were to ever close enough to get her they would do the teleportation spell once again and send her to a safe place they had created for her.
The three stood chanting their ancient spell as Ethan and Ryder came to stand near Emma, Alice and Jake, waiting. Ten minutes have passed and nothing. They were beginning to doubt that the spell was working.
Suddenly the chanting stopped and Demetrius turned with the golden chalice in hand walking towards the cliff. Reaching the edge he lifted his hand out and poured all of Emma's blood into the ocean. After a moment nothing happened, a few more and still nothing. Only when minutes were starting to go by did the heavy truth of the situation set in. Emma was completely human meaning even her blood. As a cloud of dread hang over their heads, they quickly came to realize that their plan failed.
Ring Ring!
Ivan's phone began ringing breaking the silence that had settled over everyone. Taking it out he saw Lucas' name and dread crept in. Pressing the answer button he wordlessly lifted the phone to his ear well aware of the entire clearing listening in. Lucas' voice came out shaky and fearful on the other end.
"The council was right. Cain is here and he is not alone."
