Tobago: Cresenct Wolf Pack

The air was crisp, as dead leaves blew about softly. The wind whistles through the night. An eerily silence suddenly ensued, nature itself was shuddering at what was about to happen. Six feet underlaid the deceased beta of the crecesent pack.

Slowly there was a low scratching, as the ground above his grave shock lightly.

The silence echoed all around as a shadow materialized from the trees taking lesuired steps towards the tombstone.

Cain smiled wicked as finally, the beta has arisen. He should stop thinking of him as a beta, Cain thought. The last bit of the man had remained six feet under. This thing was a faithful being of his master, a demon but one that could walk on earth.

Cain thoughts stopped as suddenly a loud cracking was heard right before the tombstone shattered and a massive figure climbed out.

Jarred was much larger than his normal self. About the size of a dragon shifter. Muscles bugled as he stood with concrete and dirt falling from him. Cain stepped closer inspecting him. As a scientist he was curious.

Black ink ran thick through Jarreds vain. His blood was worst than a dark witch. Cain could feel the dark presence jarred possed. It rivaled his own. It was a good thing he cast all those concealment spells. The pack can't know mainly alpha cole and by extension the wolf council.

As Jarred finally looked up at Cain a swirl of black and red floated through his eyes. This reflected his soul, while he was a demon he still had a soul. If Lucifer didn't need him to find his mate there would be no use for it. Jarred was the first demon to remain with his.

Suddenly Jarred was alert staring straight at Cain in a defense position. Cain smiled as he unbuttoned the top part of his shirt to reveal his heart. Jarred had a good instinct on who was the stronger opponent, though he took long to notice him it was only because he know woke up.

A seal was revealed right over Cain's heart. Jarred quickly recognized it as he himself now had one. the seal of Lucifer. Only a few could hold it, the seal being as powerful as it was could only be contained by truly dark beings. It was also a mark of ownership lucifer used on his prized possessions.

Quickly Jarred relaxed as Cain open a teleportation portal thinking, no matter what Alaric had in store with a weapon like Jarred his queen would be safe, human or not.

. . . .

The Bermuda Triangle

Lord Gregory was finally able to retreat from Alaric's close observation. After spending days appeasing the tyrant into not killing anyone else he can finally call for help. The northern kingdom was their last hope, the king cannot be compromised. Alex represented the gates itself, defeat her and all hell will break loose.

Slitting his hand open blood floated around him as Gregory had escaped outside of the air bubble Alaric had created. As his blood floated around him he opened a vile allowing more blood to seep out and join his. Measures were put in place in order to contact the northern kingdom. Three mermaids were chosen to hold a key. The key their blood and when mixed together a glimpse is given to the north of their current state. In this case, that is all the northern king will need, a glimpse of Alaric on the throne with King Zander at his feet. Now he just had to wait.

Hurrying back inside Gregory slipped back into the bubble of air first ensuring no traces of blood was left on him. Walking straight up to the throne he bowed to Alaric's feet in fake respect as Alaric played with the gold staff in his right palm.

"Enjoyed the fresh water outside?" Alaric questioned seemingly not caring.

Gulping Gregory swallowed discreetly before responding as naturally as he could, however, he knew he had been caught.

"The air was uncomfortable, I had to take a swim. I'm sure the rest feels the same." He answered never raising his eyes.

"Oh is that so?" Alaric spoke faking curiosity as he tilted his head now staring at Gregory.

Gregory said nothing but kept his submissive position. He knew he could die in the next second with one wrong move, given Alaric fell for his lie.

Slowly rising Alaric stepped down from the throne as he leisurely approached Gregory. With each step, his clicked his staff on the stone floor. Reaching just in front of him Alaric motioned for him to stand.

Upon rising Alaric smoothly reached forward under Gregory's jacket breaking the many concealment spells placed there to grab the vile of blood.

"I see, so this was why you needed a swim." Alaric spoke matter of fact as a slow sinister grin grew on his lips.

Lord Gregory didn't speak knowing that the end was near. Alaric was going to kill him. At least he was able to contact the north and the king was still hidden.

"Finally." Alaric breathed and just as swiftly he brought his staff up to stab Gregory straight through the heart.

Choking Gregory fell to his knees now clutching at the gaping hole left in his chest as Alaric drew back his staff.

"Poor fool, you really think you were able to contact the northern kingdom under my watch." Alaric almost sang with that sinister smirk full of glee.

"While the key can contact the north it has another purpose..." At his words, Gregory's eyes went wide in shock.

How could he know? Gregory thought frantically, Impossible!

"You just lead me straight to your king." Alaric finished joyously.

While the key was used for contact between the kingdoms, it was indirectly a contact with the king himself. If used by a loyal servant, that servant could find the king.

Mixing some of Gregory's blood into the vile Alaric passed the vile to Zander who upon one sniff eyes shot blood red before he released a great powerful roar.

Finally, I can claim the gates of hell, Alaric thought with a gleeful smirk.

Northern Kingdom (Heaven's Gates)

Pristine, clear waters surrounded the untouched kingdom. At the ocean's floor, the gates to heaven remained sealed since the beginning of time. Never was there a reason for passage. Clear white floors adored the throne room as the King entered. The entire throne room fell silent bowing as their king swam through the cleared path they made. Long red robes dragged along as the North's king approached. Climbing up the white marble one step at a time the crowd stayed kneeled waiting for their king's permission to stand. Reaching the top, the king dropped the low hood of the cloak to reveal a beautiful face. Rose Xavier, daughter of the previous king of Atlantis.

A beautiful gold reflected off the crystal ceiling as her mermaid tail stretched out behind her and long blonde hair flowed behind freely. Swimming up to the throne the king finally sat motioning for everyone the stand. Pure blue eyes scanned over the crowd from the throne as the golden crown rested on her head.

Rose sat proudly on the northern kingdom's throne. King to the gates of heaven she ruled over the last remaining kingdom of the mermaids. Her older brothers were supposed to be kings of the gates however when Alaric had killed one of the twin brothers during the fall of Atlantis, she had to take his place to become the king. Though a king she was beautiful. Long blonde hair almost as long as her pure liquid gold tail, along with ocean blue eyes and white milky skin, she was far from the rough image of a king. However, her looks didn't reflect her ability as king. She was the strongest there was, even stronger than her older brother Zander since she was a true king.

A loyal subject approached as she beckoned for him to speak.

"My king, the surface world is under attack. The werewolf council has lost some of their greatest warriors by the hands of a creature created by the witches. If let be, surely the humans would be destroyed. As god's fourth child we cannot ignore the humans. I believe it is time we surfaced."

Loud gasps were heard throughout the throne room as a deathly silence followed. Speaking of surfacing was taboo. Since the fall of Atlantis, the mermaids have remained hidden. Surfacing would mean putting their entire race at the risk of extinction.

As another loyal subject came forward she gave him permission as well to speak.

"My king I believe we should remain hidden. The younger ones may be unaware but the older ones should know of this." He spoke locking eyes with some of the older mermaids sharing knowing looks.

"We must never forget who is on the surface, the great right hand of the werewolf council. She single handily saved us from extinction. This is nothing she can't handle. Our surfacing would only put us at risk when she has the power to stop them. We must never forget who she truly is and that she holds the power to protect us all."

Listening to both sides Rose looked back to her followers as she spoke loudly.

"Anyone believes we should surface?"

While there was some shuffling, no one said anything and the one loyal subject looked on at the crowd praying for someone, anyone to agree.

Bringing down her golden staff hard on the floor she decreed.

"There shall be no more talk of surfacing as long as our savior the right hand of the werewolf council remains untouched."

Just as she finished her eyes clouded over as an image flashed before her eyes. She gasped gripping her staff hard as her eyes cleared. Slowly she leveled her followers with a serious look before speaking.

"The south kingdom is compromised. As we speak the Witch Council's Leader Alaric sits on the throne." Mummers broke out as she continued.

"It looks like I spoke too soon. Something must have happened for our savior to not be able to stop him." The mummers got louder as panic rise.

Slamming her staff down she demanded silence.

"This changes things if one kingdom falls the balance is lost. Worst if the gates of hell is opened. The world itself will be destroyed."

Stepping up one of the loyal subjects continued.

"If demons come onto earth they will corrupt everything. Darkness will live and breathe here."

While her followers worried about demons invading earth, the king was worried about a different darkness altogether. If the gates were opened there was a chance Lucifer could step onto earth. The last time that happen, it caused the apocalypse. God created his four children to fight off Lucifer's four horsemen. After, he had them stay and protect the humans.

However, the gates have remained sealed for as long as she knew. What happens now that there was no contact with the heavens? How will they fight Lucifer?
