Aryan had been meticulous in planning the evening, wanting to create a night that would leave an indelible mark on Reena's memory. Over the past week, he had spoken with the city's best event planners, reserving a private section of one of the most exclusive restaurants in town. Every detail, from the menu to the decor, had been curated to perfection.

As the evening approached, Aryan arrived at Reena’s house, his eyes sparkling with anticipation. Dressed in an impeccably tailored black suit, he exuded charm and confidence. Reena, in a sleek crimson gown that accentuated her figure, stepped out, feeling a mixture of excitement and nervousness. The dress was another of Aryan's gifts, and she had chosen it specifically for tonight.

As they arrived at the restaurant, the valet opened the car door for Reena, and she stepped out, her heels clicking softly against the marble pavement. Aryan extended his hand, and she took it, feeling the warmth of his touch.

Inside, the restaurant's private section was a vision of elegance. Soft golden lights hung from the ceiling, casting a gentle glow over the room. A string quartet played soothing classical music in the corner. The table was set with fine china, and a path of rose petals led to their table, where a centerpiece of lilies and orchids added a touch of romance.

“Wow, Aryan,” Reena whispered, taking in the grandeur. “You didn’t have to do all this.”

“I wanted to,” Aryan replied, guiding her to her seat. “You deserve the best, Reena. Tonight is all about us.”

The waiter brought out the first course, a delicate arrangement of appetizers that looked almost too beautiful to eat. They sipped on sparkling juice, toasting to the night. The conversation flowed effortlessly, their laughter filling the room. Aryan’s eyes never left Reena, his gaze full of adoration.

“You know,” Aryan said, his voice soft, “I’ve never felt this way about anyone. You’ve brought so much joy into my life.”

Reena smiled, feeling a pang of guilt mixed with gratitude. She reached into her purse and pulled out a small box. “I have something for you too.”

Aryan’s eyebrows raised in surprise. “For me?”

She nodded, opening the box to reveal a Tulsi mala. “This is special. It’s sacred. I want you to have it.”

Aryan took the mala, his eyes widening. “It’s beautiful. What’s the significance?”

Reena hesitated for a moment, then said, “It’s a spiritual tool. I’d like you to chant the Hare Krishna Mahamantra with it. At least five malas every day.”

Aryan looked at her, puzzled but intrigued. “You’re serious?”

She nodded. “Yes. It will bring you peace, strength... and maybe more.”

Aryan chuckled. “Alright. If it means that much to you, I’ll do it. Five malas a day. And then, back to... romance?” He wiggled his eyebrows playfully.

Reena laughed, feeling a rare lightness in her heart. “Exactly.”

As the evening continued, they shared stories, dreams, and hopes. The main course was a sumptuous blend of Indian and continental cuisine, each dish a masterpiece. Aryan’s efforts to make the night special were evident in every bite.

By the time dessert arrived—a decadent chocolate soufflé—they were both lost in the moment, the weight of reality momentarily forgotten. Aryan reached across the table, taking Reena’s hand in his.

“Thank you for this,” he whispered. “For being here. For everything.”

Reena felt a lump in her throat. “You don’t need to thank me, Aryan. You’ve done so much...”

“No,” he interrupted. “You’ve changed my life, Reena. I don’t know what I’d do without you.”

She forced a smile, hiding the turmoil within. “I’m here now. That’s what matters.”
