I hope youâre all doing well. I know I was supposed to release a chapterâor even twoâtoday, but before I do, I feel the need to address something thatâs been weighing on my mind.
Let me start by saying Iâve been a part of the Wattpad community for a long time. My first account dates back to 2014, and Iâve been an avid reader ever since. This account was created in 2020, and I only began writing this year, pouring my heart and creativity into every chapter Iâve shared with you.
As someone who has read countless stories on this platform, Iâve noticed a recurring issue: no matter how much effort an author puts into crafting their book, there will always be a handful of readers who leave negative or dismissive comments.
I understand that everyone has different tastes, and not every story will resonate with every reader. But I also know firsthand how challenging it is to writeâhow much time, thought, and emotion go into creating a narrative. When authors see discouraging comments, it can drain the enthusiasm and passion we need to keep going.
Recently, two readers left comments on my story that were less than constructive (read chapter one comments). What surprised me most is that they were both writers themselves. This made me wonderâif anyone should understand how hard this process is, shouldnât it be fellow writers?
I want to take this moment to kindly ask for one thing: if my story isnât your cup of tea, I completely understand. Taste is subjective, and not every plot or style will appeal to everyone. But instead of leaving negative comments, I kindly request that you simply move on to a story that better suits your preferences.
To those who continue to support me with thoughtful feedback, encouragement, and understanding, I canât thank you enough. Youâre the reason Iâm here, and I promise to keep writing for those who truly enjoy my work.
For anyone who doesnât like long stories or the direction my plot is taking, I respect your choice to read what makes you happy. But please, I ask for no rude or unnecessary comments. Letâs keep this a space of positivity and mutual respect.
