Note: This is a "bonus chapter"/"extra chapter." I made it 9.5 because it is not the main character's POV, but it is happening at the same time as Chapter 9. Chapters like this remind me of extended edition movies, but in a book. You get extra scenes. Let me know if you like extra POVs!
Drake:
"She will be mine!" I yell to Michael frustrated. "My asshole brother will pay for taking what is mine, again. Him commanding her to stay with him is perfect for her stubborn side, she will not give up getting away from him now. It is a matter of time before he leads her right back into my arms. I knew Raelyn would be mine the moment I saw her." I say pacing around my study.
Michael stands still unsure of how to react to my outburst. "How- How did you know?" He asks.
"Have a seat," I say gesturing towards the lounge chair in front of me. He hesitates and I push his shoulders down to make him sit. I circle around and lean against my desk. "You are lucky Michael, you will have a mate. When I met you, I was able to see an image of her in my mind. Just hope I don't find her first, because damn, she is a baddy."
I can feel his heat rise in anger, but he knows better than to try me. I smirk and circle around to sit behind my desk. "How can you possibly know what my mate looks like when I have not even met her?" he asks unsure of this information.
I roll my eyes at having to explain my "gift." "I chose to rule as Alpha of all the Rogues. The moon-goddess did not approve and gave me two options, don't rule or rule with a curse. Obviously I chose the latter." He looked intrigued. "They took away my mate, and I am cursed with the knowledge of knowing I am the only werewolf to never have one again. If that was not enough, as a constant reminder, every person I encounter, I get a clear image of who their mate is." I pause to let him try and make sense of it all.
I push out my seat and stand again ready to end this conversation. "Anyways, when I saw Raelyn, I knew she was Dylan's mate."
"If she is Dylan's mate, then how will she be yours?" He asks still trying to understand.
I thump him on the head and make him stand up. "Keep up you doofus. When I kill Dylan and I take my rightful spot as Alpha of Scarlet Moon pack and her as Luna, she will be my partner, she will be mine."
And the plot thickens... lol
