Chapter 100: Chapter 99 - Landing

Raphael POV We land in Venice on my private land and as soon as the plane touches the ground I turn my phone on.

I receive a text from Joseph ”boss call as soon as you land”

I called Joseph and no answer. What the fuck is happening.

I look outside and I see an SUV that I don’t recognise and I have a strange feeling about it.

I stand up and walk to the cockpit and the captain is getting ready to open the door.

“Don’t open the door” - I tell him “Everything okay boss?”

“I don’t know, but that is not my car”

“It’s a black SUV like always boss”

“That’s not my SUV” - I say and he looks at the car and I bet he can’t see the difference.

My SUV has a billet mark on the right door and this one doesn’t. I know what you are thinking, it for fixed. But no. I take pride on that bullet mark and it would never be fixed.

“What do you want me to do boss?”

“Ask permission to fly again” - I say.

“But boss, that will be a waste of petrol”

“Do as I say” - I tell him taking a seat in the cockpit.

The captain announces that we will be lifting off again.

My phone starts ringing and it’s Joseph.

“Joseph, what the fuck is happening?”

“Boss there was an attack in the club. Three dead and seven injured “

“Civilians or our men?”

“The three dead are our men, injured were civilians “

“Fuck, that’s all I need, my club having a gunshot fight”

“Police came around and I spoke to the chief and he is taking care of it”

“Good, now tell me you got some of their men?”

“We did, we have two on cells”

“Good, torture them and find out the name of the bastard behind this”

“I will boss”

“I will turn my phone off as we are taking off again”

“Why?”

“There’s an SUV that is not mine parked where mine should be”

“Shit, can you get the licence plate so I can check it out?”

“Not from where I am standing” - I tell him “Shit boss”

“They are surrounding me. How the fuck did they know I was in Italy?”

“Don’t know” - Joseph says with an annoyed voice. I know he is as pissed off as I am.

“Got another call” - I say before I end the call and it’s my cousin.

“Gabriel” - I say as I answer “Buongiorno cugino” - he says “I am about to take off again”

“Why? You just landed”

“How do you know that?” - I ask him “I know everything cousin, this is my country, and that’s my men waiting for you”

“You should’ve told me they were yours” - I say “Your men are doing a shipment to New York” - he says and I take a deep breath. I forgot about that.

“No need to take off” - I say to the captain that is now looking at me.

“Open the doors” - I tell him and I walk out of the cockpit making small talk with my cousin.

We end the call and Olivia looks at me.

“Everything okay?”

“Perfect “ - I tell her and she smiles at me.

We leave the plane and the men walk inside to grab your luggage. Maria is really happy to be out of the plane.

It’s hot for a spring day and Olivia is quite happy with that. She will be able to sunbathe the way she likes.

We walk to the SUV and they drive us to my house that is about thirty minutes drive from where we land the plane.

The drive was quiet and Mike is awake now. Olivia plays with him while I pay attention to the road.

When we arrive at the house the big gates open and I see three of my men coming towards the car when it’s parked in front of the house.

We all get out and I can see Maria’s and Olivia’s face are excited about the house.

I know it is a short chapter but I decided it is still Christmas and I wanted to give you all a little bonus.
