"Yes."
Choi Gaho nodded.
"Iâve been thinking about this for a while. Laura and Sora really work well together."
"Really?"
I tilted my head.
But as I listened, I could think of several situations where this made sense.
Back when we ambushed SerenadeKR at Asser Sal, and when we tried taking down the revived Duke in Dungeon Seeker.
Sora always seemed to take up a position that worked well for me.
It was so natural that I hadnât realized it until now, but thinking it over, it was clear that playing with Sora was always easy and convenient.
"So I was thinking about how to pair Sora with Laura. Then, the Sacred Knight was released."
Originally, I had planned to have Sora play a different character, but the Sacred Knight had a skillset that was perfect for executing the double invader strategy.
Thatâs when I started looking for a strategy to contain Son Nalim.
The Paladin is a character who initiates fights to fill their ultimate gauge, causing chaos and then disappearing with the Reignite skill.
Itâs not incredibly threatening, but if theyâre alive, theyâre an annoying character throughout the game, from start to finish.
Itâs best to eliminate them quickly, but if things get dangerous, theyâll escape with Reignite, so itâs not easy.
To take down the Paladin, CC (crowd control) combos are essential.
"Sounds good. The Sacred Knight for double invader."
And then there was a time when we had a scrim with pro gamers.
It was with Choi Gahoâs team, Steel Genesis (GGS), and Gaho seemed to think the Sacred Knightâs double invader was promising enough to bring his team members in.
"The Sacred Knight is surprisingly fast at hunting neutral mobs. Plus, the Sacred Knightâs passive heals, so its sustain is quite good."
"Any character can do that. Even a Berserker without a weapon seems bad for neutral mob hunting, but when we timed it, the Sacred Knight was way faster than doing it solo."
