[Louis, your kid is amazing, huh?]
The voice came through the headphones.
Louis, though a leader in Leviathan with a vast network of connections, was essentially more of an introvert at heart.
People often mistook him for an extrovert, but he always felt drained from socializing. It was difficult for him to approach others, and even harder to maintain relationships.
He wasn't very good at becoming close with people on a personal level either.
For that reason, Louis didnât often do voice chats outside of streams. If he talked to someone, it was usually about work. He kept private conversations to a very limited circle.
Asahina Hikari was one of those precious few.
"Kid? If you say it like that, it sounds like I gave birth to her, Hikari."
[Isnât that pretty much the case? Youâve been taking care of her like sheâs your child.]
"Well, it benefits me too."
Louis shrugged.
"After all, Laura's popular, isnât she? I have to ride on that popularity if I want to survive in this industry, right, Hikari?"
[Youâre giving her so much attention though~. Making maps was pretty tough, right? You put a lot of Easter eggs in there, and then, of course, the ending is the meteor ending.]
"Yeah, itâs because I feel guilty about it. So, what was it againâ¦? You said weâll do it first, right?"
[I actually prefer going first! Iâd rather get it over with and watch others afterward!]
"Going first is disadvantageous though."
[But even if we do this, how many more subscribers can we really get? Letâs just enjoy it.]
"Thatâs true."
Louis nodded and jotted down a note in his memo pad: 'Sora-hosted Song Relay Planning: First performer is Hikari.'@@novelbin@@
