"Last chance, Blue! The Shard, or your life!" Dread said, threatening the Hedgehogs.
"Settle down Dread." Metal-Bone chided him.
"No! Not until he hands it over!" Dread said, refusing to give up the farce.
Suddenly, Ryder's Regulator chimes. "Ryder! Can you hear me? Are you guys okay?"
"He be anything but okay, me boyo." Dread, who heard him says.
"Who was that?"
"Uhh, Nine, ol' buddy ol' pal, I'm gonna need to put you on hold for maybe fiv-"
Captain Dread points the sword at the Prism Shard, interrupting him. "That treasure be mine."
"Ten minutes." Ryder hastily hangs up.
The whole of Angel's Voyage crew steps closer and threatens them.
"Dread, what are you doing? This wasn't part of the plan!" Sonic exclaimed, confused.
"The plan's changed when you deserted us." Dread lied before he attacks Ryder and Sonic, forcing them to retreat.
Ryder grunts before turning back to them. "Deserted you? What are you talking about. We were gonna come back after we got the Shard!" Ryder said before showing them the Shard.
"Not how it looked to us." Black Rose said pointing her gun at him.
"You know what? That stings. Especially since we're standing right here, proving that we did come back!" Sonic reminds them.
"He makes a good point." Batten shrugs.
"Thank you Batten! At least one of you aren't nutjobs." Ryder said, annoyed.
"Ahem." Metal-Bone reminded him with a deadpan look.
"Two of you." Ryder nervously grins.
"Look, we're not traitors, but right now, we need to take this shard and get-" Sonic begins before Dread goes to attack them again, but is deflected by Metal-Bone.
"Metal? You dare betray me?!" Dread said.
"I heard what you said Dread. Would you really stoop this low?" Metal-Bone asked, appalled by his friend's choices.  "You're lying to your crew to get the Shard for yourself!"
"More lies!" Dread said before pushing Metal-Bone back and charges the two Hedgehogs, who run to the other side of the ship, protecting the shard and dodging attacks by the crew.
"Respect. Our. Boundaries! I expected Dread to take this hard, but what's with the rest of you?" Sonic said.
"You're a lousy traitor who abandoned your crew in battle!" Sails said.
"We didn't abandon you! Dread told me to get the Shard, and he w-"
"He's lying!" Dread lied as he jumps in front of the crew and threatens Ryder by swinging and pointing his sword. "Now give me the treasure."
"You know... now that I think about it..." Ryder holds it out to him. As Dread evilly grins at him, Ryder flips him off. "Nah!" He sticks his tongue out, blowing a raspberry before grabbing Metal-Bone, and carrying him and the gem out to sea, running away with Sonic following him.

Yolkomotive
Rex, along with Eggforcer units are seen repairing the ship as Dr. Done-It sees Sonic, Ryder, and Metal-Bone through his binoculars.
"The blue rat is abandoning ship!" He then sees Dr. Deep's backside and recoils. "Oh, for the love of quiche! Do you have to do that right now?"
Dr. Deep is doing yoga. "It relaxes me. Besides, it's not like I can do anything else with our ship dead in the water. Thank goodness the rest of the Chaos Council doesn't know about our 'predicament.'"
Mr. Dr. Eggman is then heard over radio. "Yes, well, they are nimrods."
"We're patched in." Dr. Don't tells him.
Mr. Dr. Eggman awkwardly notices and begins his transmission. "Oh! Uh, ahem. Mothership to Yolkomotive, we're en route, are you in position? I repeat en route."
Dr. Done-It, panicked began speaking. "No problems here! We'll be there with bells on, with the Shard in our possession." He told them as the transmission ended.
"Urgh! We need to move! How much longer until we're operational?" Dr. Deep asks.
Dr. Done-It puts on his goggles. "I've already programmed them and Rex to do the repairs. Just relax and do your yogurt."
"It's yoga!"
Rex watched them and couldn't help but scoff at them. He then shakes his head in shock. He's usually not acting this way towards them. What's going on with him today?

No Place Sea
Ryder and Sonic sprint along the water, struggling to hold onto the slippery shard.
"Ah! We'll never hit top speed juggling this thing around!" he mutters, skidding to a halt. He glances uneasily at the dark waves beneath him.
Ryder stops as well. "Not with that attitude we won't. Now come on, we gotta keep moving."
"All this water... it's just not natural. I always feel like something's gonna come up out of the darkness andâ"
A low rumble interrupts his thoughts. Sonic freezes, his ears twitching. "What is that?" he whispers.
Metal-Bone looks down and sees the Kraken approaching from below.
"Watch out!" He yells as the Kraken bursts from beneath the water, its massive hull pushing the Hedgehogs skyward. They yelp in surprise, flailing as the shard slips from Ryder's grasp.
"Whoa-oa-oa!" Sonic cries, twisting mid-air to grab the shard. He lands back on the water with a splash, immediately sprinting to keep ahead of the looming vessel.
Ryder darts behind a palm tree on the nearby shore, followed by Sonic, who is clutching the shard tightly. They're breathing is quick but controlled.
Metal-Bone goes behind a large rock and turns to them. "I'm guessing this wasn't a part of the plan?" He asks.
"Plan? At this point we'll be lucky with a concept!" Ryder said, panicked.
Sonic pats Ryder's back. "Calm down buddy. We still have the Shard. All we gotta do is find land big enough for us to get home."
"Where? The Devil's Lighthouse? That isn't around for miles!"
"Well we don't have much choice now do we?" Metal-Bone chimes in.

Yolkomotive
Rex is still struggling to make repairs when he hears Mr. Dr. Eggman's voice saying:Â "Mothership to Yolkomotive, we've hit a snag! Slight delay.""D-delayed!? What's takin' ya so long?! We're in-" Dr. Done-it begins but is stopped when Rex speeds his way to him, blocks his mouth and speaks for him.
"Grateful for your notification my liege. Take all the time you require. No problem." He hangs up on them.
Dr. Done-it pulls the hand away. "What was that rodent?! I was talking!"
"If we rush them to make it here, we'll be caught and they'll be at our heads for our failure. So how about you tone it down so we can do our jobs?!"
"Excuse me?!"
"You heard me old man." Rex said angrily before reverting back to his programmed personality. "I mean... my apologies my liege. I was simply trying to follow the logic parameters.
The two doctors looked at him uneasily, not sure if this is the beginning of a defection. For now they set it aside to focus on the mission. "Forget it. Focus on repairs."

"Nine to Sonic! Are you there?" Nine's voice crackles through the regulator, startling them.
"Nine?" Ryder whispers, holding the device close. "You've got the worst timing, buddy."
"Who's that?" Metal-Bone asks, not knowing Nine. "Is that Sails?"
"Huh, finally. Tell me you have the Shard," Tails Nine said through the regulator.
"You know it! Now all I gotta do is get this baby to the Void," Sonic replied confidently.
"What are you waiting for? You have to hurry. The mothership has been stalled somehow but it's on its way!" Tails Nine's voice echoed urgently.
"Ha! I'm trying, but I've got a bit of a pirate problem at the moment," Sonic quipped as he dodged another cannon blast.
"We find me treasure, or ye all be walking the plank!" Knuckles the Dread roared as his crew scrambled to their battle stations, weapons aimed at Sonic.
"Ugh, Dread's really losing it," Sonic muttered.
"Forget the pirates. Our reality is at stake. Stay on mission," Tails Nine reminded him sharply.
"Copy that, stay on missionâ" Sonic started to say but was cut off as cannonfire destroyed the palm tree he was hiding behind.
"You too, Catfish?" Metal-Bone asked suspiciously, spotting the nervous feline behind the cannon. "How could you? And after I called you my favorite." He glares with betrayal in his eyes.
Catfish looked apologetic, but Froggy, wearing an eyepatch, leaped onto the cannon and started firing wildly.
"Great," Sonic groaned, as they bolted away with the Shard as Captain Dread's crew gave chase.
Knuckles the Dread barked out orders as his crew pursued the Hedgehogs. "You'll never escape with me treasure!"
"Open fire!" Black Rose commanded, and Sails and Batten Rouge unleashed a flurry of bullets.
They darted and weaved through the chaos, narrowly avoiding the onslaught. One laser came alarmingly close to the Shard, prompting Ryder to gasp.
"This totally seemed like it was going to be easyâget the Shard and run fast, which I'm awesome at!" Sonic said.
As if summoned by his frustration, Shadow's hologram appeared suddenly.
"Who are you talking to?!" Shadow demanded, glaring at Sonic.
"What in the name of the deep blue sea is that? Looks like someone tried to make an evil doppelganger and got lazy." Metal-Bone said.
Ryder chuckled but ignored his variant and responded to Shadow's question. "I would say me, but he tends to talk to himself when he's nervous."
"I can see you both have the Shard. Run faster and get out of there!"
"Turns out it's hard to get up to full speed on water," Sonic explained, his tone laced with sarcasm. "Even with these kicks!"
"Then go where they can't blast you," Shadow instructed bluntly.
"We need solid ground," Sonic agreed. He smirked and glanced at the horizon. "And I know just where to get it! By the time that ship gets here, we'll be a blip on the horizon." Suddenly, a blip appeared on his head.
"What was that about a blip?" Shadow asked, his tone suspicious.
"Uhh, Sonic, you got a little something on your face." Ryder mentioned. Sonic tapped it and noticed it was a laser, coming straight from Rusty's eye from the Kraken.
Suddenly, a missile launched from the ship, homing in on them.
"Duck!" Ryder said, eyes wide as he darted forward. At the last second, he skimmed the water with his hands, the missile narrowly missing him and exploding on land behind him.
"You guys are gonna feel really bad about this later," Sonic called back as more cannonfire erupted around him. "When you think about how awful you're treating me while I'm just trying to save everyone!"
"Fire!" Dread shouted, unleashing a volley of homing missiles.
Sonic zigzagged through the water, narrowly avoiding each blast. "Why does everything have to be so difficult?!" he grumbled.
The missiles mirrored his every move, closing the gap. Sonic pulled a sharp U-turn, hoping to outmaneuver them, but they followed his path perfectly.
Knuckles roared again. "More missiles! Get 'im!"
Now surrounded, Ryder glanced at the incoming rockets. "Uh-oh!" With a quick leap, he triggered the missiles to collide, creating a massive explosion that blasted him backward.
As Ryder tumbled through the air, but managed to catch it mid-fall before splashing back into the sea.
"Oh, yeah!" he cheered, dashing away again.

The Kraken
Knuckles slammed his fist on the ship's rail. "Arr! Those blue treasure thieves will pay for this!"
Nearby, Rusty Rose and Black Rose exchanged glances.
"No one has ever asked if I was okay," Rusty admitted quietly. "Atleast... other than Rex... I am treated as a tool, not a..."
"Friend?" Black Rose finished. She sighed. "I know the feeling. All I do is follow the Dread's orders. And where has that led me?"
Knuckles's voice bellowed from afar. "Come on, ye lazy sea dogs! We're gettin' that treasure back if it's the last thing ye do!"
The two Amy counterparts stared at each other in silence, their misery mirrored in each other's eyes.

No Place, Yolkomotive
Ryder (Still carrying Metal-Bone) and Sonic are running into a rocky hideout while holding the shard, being chased by the Yolkomotive and the Council's vehicle. Rex stood between the two doctors, awaiting orders.
"What are we waitin' for? Let's attack! We can get the Shard and call it a day," Dr. Done-It exclaimed.
"All in good time. Let them tire each other out. A divided enemy is an easy one to conquer," Dr. Deep replied.
"Bah! Your whole generation is afraid to work. And all your yogurt won't change a thing!" Dr. Done-It retorted.
"For the last time, it's yoga! Yoga!" Dr. Deep snapped.
"I concur with Dr. Deep. It would be more logical of us to proceed after they've fought amongst each other. Whoever wins will be vulnerable either way, and then we can strike." Rex said.
"Exactly!" Dr. Deep exclaimed before taking a deep breath as he did a bit of yoga. "Now that I am centered, let's finish the job. I'm getting my suit!"
He leaves as Rex goes to follow him. "I'm going to prepare for battle."
Dr. Don't canes his way towards the controls.
"Hoo-yeah! Pop-pop's got the wheel!" Dr. Done-It cheered.

No Place Sea
Three missiles home in on Ryder, Sonic, Metal-Bone and the shard. They somersaults with a couple overhead kicks, allowing the missiles to fly past them. Soinc turns his back on the crew and taunts by wagging his finger.
"Not even close!" Sonic taunted.
The missiles explode into the neck of the pointed rock, causing the pieces on top to topple and fall onto them.
"Dang it Sonic!" Ryder remarks as he braces himself.
"Oh, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no!" Sonic screamed.
They try to dodge the rocks, but it's too late, as Sonic hits the rock and loses control of the shard, causing it to fly into the air. They all turn around and suddenly realizes what's happened.
"Oh, no," Ryder muttered.
The arm of Rusty Rose retrieves the shard and gives it to Captain Dread.
"At last," Knuckles the Dread said with satisfaction.
Furious and determined, Ryder jumps from rock to rock and confronts Dread and his crew.
"We're only gonna say this once. Give us back the Shard. Now," Ryder demanded.
"You'll have to do more than ask. If ye want the Shard you'll have to..." Dread began.
Dread uses the sword, with the shard's power, to shoot a laser at them, but they dodge.
"Fight for it?" Sonic quipped.
"Bring it on, Blue," Dread challenged.
The hedgehogs engage in their combat stances. The crew watches them.
Metal-Bone drops down to the deck and raises hit cutlass. "This ends now Dread." He said with conviction.
Ryder reaches for his boots to activate them, but before the battle could get started, an explosion is erupted in the middle of the deck, blasting the trio of Hedgehogs into the wall, along with the rest of the cabin crew, and Dreadâwhose shard falls out of his glove, watching it despairingly.
"No!" Dread shouted.
The shard stops about a yard from Ryder's feet.
"What was that? Captain! We're hit!" Batten Rouge yelled.
An aircraft appears with a swarm of Eggforcers in line with Dr. Deep clad in his suit, and Rex, who drops in his battle stance.
"No need to fight, boys. The Shard is mine. Destroy them all, every one of them!" Dr. Deep commanded.
The Eggforcers swarm down and attack Sonic, Ryder and the crew, with one of them picking up the shard, only to be hit by Sonic's Homing attack, resulting in him holding the shard.
"Ha-ha!" Sonic laughed.
Rex then hits him with his own Homing Attack, allowing him to procure the Shard.
Dread clobbers Rex and takes the shard from him.
"Aye," Knuckles the Dread said smugly.
Using the power of the shard, he unleashes a sword laser, defeating one of the Eggforcers. However, the robot's head hits his glove, causing the shard to be tossed to the hand of another Eggforcer. Using the tazer, Sails flies up and knocks the shard off the Eggforcer. It falls towards Catfish, who juggles with the shard before an Eggforcer hits him, causing it to get tossed up in the air once again. While an Eggforcer is trying to grab it, Froggy kicks the shard into Batten Rouge's hands.
"Yes!" Batten Rouge cheered.
With laser fire aimed at her, she tries to dodge but drops the shard as she does so, now into the hands of Rusty Rose, who is standing back to back with Black Rose. The two Roses attack whatever they see while the shard appears under Black Rose's feet. An Eggforcer prods the shard with its arm, forcing her to block his arm. At the same time, Rusty Rose picks up the shard and unleashes her extended arm to take out the Eggforcer to Black Rose's surprise.
"Hyah!" Dr. Deep shouted.
Dr. Deep punches the shard off of Rusty Rose's hands. The Shard then lands at Rex's feet, who then sweeps it off the ground and catches it. He then turns and sees Ryder and Metal-Bone staring at him. He then prepared for their attack, and then they charged at him, with Metal swinging his sword in the left and Ryder preparing his kick in the right. Rex manages to catch them both, but then something strange occurred. Suddenly, the Prismatic Aura that Ryder use for power started to erupt from all three of them. It was strange, but at the same time it was... familiar. But before they could even think, the Aura pushed them all away from the Shard, slamming them all to separate walls. When Rex lands, his hit opened a part of his chest that started glowing red.
The Shard lands in between the feet of Captain Dread and Sonic. A double screen of the two rivals appears, separated by a forward slash. They run to and pick up the shard at the same time, while Rusty Rose kicks Dr. Deep in the background. Dr. Deep kicks Rusty Rose, causing Sonic to notice and give him a worried look. In slow motion, Rusty Rose is about to be crushed by an Eggforcer's attempted ground pound. Sonic relinquishes his grab and runs to the Eggforcer, while Knuckles grins gleefully at the Shard. Sonic kicks the Eggforcer out of the way and offers Rusty Rose a handshake.
"You good?" Sonic asked.
"Thank you," Rusty Rose replied.
"Uh... you're welcome?" Sonic said, unsure.
In the background, after Sails is being chased by an Eggforcer, Black Rose battles Dr. Deep on the edge of the ship. Sonic Homing attacks Dr. Deep, causing him to fall onto the ship's turbine.
"Ouch!" Dr. Deep groaned.
A swarm of Eggforcers surrounds the three crew members. Sonic pinballs into and breaks all of them. He then gives a thumbs up to Batten Rouge and runs, standing next to Black Rose.
"We're overmatched," Sonic said.
"'We'?" Black Rose asked.
"I left you all once, and I'm not making that mistake again. Where's the Shard?" Sonic asked, determined.
"There!" Black Rose pointed.
They turn to Dread. He laughs evilly while he holds the shard, while two Eggforcers appear behind him. He turns and uses the sword laser to stop one of the robots. While a battle between the crew and the Eggforcers goes on, Captain Dread glides away, abandoning ship.
"Dread is abandoning ship?" Black Rose questioned.
Dr. Done-It's voice can be heard. "Gah! The pirate's got the Shard!" Dr. Done-It yelled. "Get him!" The Yolkomotive deploys Eggforcers onto the Yolkomotive and goes after Captain Dread.
Dr. Deep recovers and follows the Council's ship.
After the three doppelgangers wake up and get up, Rex sees the course the Council is making, and activates his rockets, allowing him to follow them.
Ryder struggles to get up, but sees the offering hand of Sonic and grasps it to help him up.
Ryder, Sonic and the two Roses, all looking determined.
"The Shard must not fall into the Council's hands," Rusty Rose exclaimed.
"But you..." Sonic said to Rusty Rose.
Black Rose restrains Sonic's arm and says: "We'll be fine after that rock is gone," Black Rose said, releasing Sonic's arm. "Get after him, you two."
Ryder nods. "We won't let you down. You sure you'll be fine Metal?"
Metal-Bone struggles to get up with his sword but gives a weak smile. "You go get him Blue Blur." He then throws his sword, and cuts through the chest of a robot.
Ryder smirks. "Cool." He said as he taps his boots, allowing him to use his full speed, he and Sonic set off to find Dread and peel out over the sea.
Dread, holding the shard, looks over at the mountain where it was originally found.
"Dread!" Sonic exclaimed.
Captain Dread turns around after being distracted by the duo standing on a rock. " Is this who you really are? A coward who abandons his crew?!" Sonic snapped.
"A captain makes sacrifices!" Knuckles the Dread retorted.
"Not to his own crew you fool!" Ryder retorts.
Dread ignores him and unleashes his shard-powered sword and fires at them, who dodges, but also evades an attack from the Council's ship, Wrecker Rex and Dr. Deep.
"Time to show off my warrior pose," Dr. Deep declared.
He shows off his superhero pose, giving Dread, Ryder and Sonic angry looks. He then poses with his legs up in the air, giving the duo surprised looks. He then poses with his backside facing them, giving the duo disgusted looks. He then shows off his yoga pose.
"Gah! Would you just grow up and attack?!" Dr. Done-It called out off-screen.
"I'm trying to be dramatic!" Dr. Deep responded, turning to Dr. Done-It.
With him distracted, Dread shoots his sword laser at him. The arm malfunctions, causing Dr. Deep to scream and get thrown around before crashing into Rex's rock and causing them both to fall.
"Thank you. That guy was never gonna shut up." Ryder remarks, causing Sonic to chuckle for a brief moment before noticing shots fired once again, and the Council's ship following Dread and the shard. They set off again, while Dread glides happily while the shard is in his hands.
"Dread! Where are you going, what's your plan?" Sonic called out.
"I don't need a 'plan'! As long as I've got me beauty!" Knuckles the Dread shouted confidently.
"So no plan. Great." Ryder groaned.
Sonic spin dashes onto the ramp-shaped rock and hits him, knocking the shard off and causing him to crash onto the beach. Ryder then jumps in a Homing attack, claims the shard, striking his iconic finger-gun pose to the viewers in celebration before landing safely on the beach...
"Oh, yeah!" Sonic exclaimed high-fiving him.
...before being attacked again by the Council, causing him to run away. He consoles an exhausted Captain Dread.
"Sorry, Dread, but we've got a shatter-verse to save," Sonic said apologetically. They dodges more ammo-fire and runs up the mountain with the shard, leaving the infuriated Dread.
Three more Eggforcers were deployed to go after Sonic and Ryder. They appear in front of them, but they use homing attacks and defeat them, easily.
"Land! Sweet, solid land!" Sonic shouted excitedly.
"Finally, I can get some traction under these kicks! Time to get outta here. So long No Place! Hello Green Hill!" Ryder said.
They jump at the top of the mountain and for the first time, is able to warp.
"It's working! Yes!" Sonic cheered. The Portal appears at the top of the sky, but a second later, the Chaos Council's Mothership appears out of the portal...
"What the...?" Ryder exclaimed. ...and blocks him, causing him to fall. He hits the ground while the shard lands on his chest.
"Thanks for the head's up, Shadow!" Sonic yelled.
While a recovered Dread starts climbing up the mountain, the Mothership lands. Eggforcers and Tails Nine arrive at the scene.
"Nine?!" Ryder called out.
"Ryder, get out of here!" Nine warned, getting electrocuted by the two Eggforcers.
"Nine!" Sonic cried out in despair at Nine.
Mr. Dr. Eggman appears behind the Eggforcers "What?! You still have the Shard? Doctors, where are you? What have you been doing all this time?" Mr. Dr. Eggman demanded.
"Oh, cool your jets, sonny! Deep's just cleaning up a few barnacles. We'll be there shortly!" Dr. Done-It called back.
"Do I have to do everything myself?" Mr. Dr. Eggman grumbled. He then turned to Ryder
"Playtime is over. Give me theâShard!"
The Eggforcers prepare for combat.
"Why don't you try and make me," Ryder taunted.
After a stare down, Dread pops in close by to Ryder.
"No, she be mine!" Dread shouted. He unleashes his sword.
"Dread!" Sonic exclaimed.
Mr. Dr. Eggman commands the Eggforcers.
"Shoot the pirate!" Mr. Dr. Eggman ordered.
With Dread unaware, the Eggforcers shoot a towards him, but is stopped when they are deflected by the surprising Rory who enters in a heroic landing.
Rory looks up and smirks at the Doctor. "This where the party's at?"
Mr. Dr. Eggman looked at him surprised. "What?! Who are you?"
"That would be a long story, but you can call me the guy who's gonna kick your butt." Rory said wiping his nose to show confidence.
The doctor groans in anger. "I said playtime is over," Mr. Dr. Eggman announced, his voice full of menace.
They all turn around in horror as the Yolkomotive rises up to his level. Dr. Deep evilly laughs. It is revealed that Rusty Rose, Metal-Bone Ryder and the rest of Angel's voyage crew are wounded and cornered by Eggforcers, equipped with tasers and Rex, who has his taser right at Rusty's face. Dr. Done-It raises his ship up too, with evil laughter.
"Excellent work, Doctors. It's amazing what my cohorts and I can do when we work together," Mr. Dr. Eggman said, grinning. Ryder's furious look turns into nerves. "I'll make this simple. Hand over the Shard, and whatever Chaos Emeralds you have in that little sack, or say goodbye to your friends forever."
Ryder looks at Nine, who frowns and shakes his head. He then looks at a nervous Dread, before turning around to face his friends' counterparts.
"Don't. I am expendable," Rusty Rose said firmly, getting electrocuted by Rex.
"I wouldn't listen to her if I were you." Rex warned Ryder.
"Uhh, she doesn't speak for me!" Metal-Bone said, getting a glare from Ryder and giving an apologetic glance.
"I agree! Give 'em the blasted rock!" Batten Rouge exclaimed, provoked.
"Well? Last chance," Mr. Dr. Eggman said, his patience running thin.
Ryder, knowing he has no options, sighs. "Fine."
"Fine. When you put it that way," Ryder muttered, taking off his satchel.
"No!" Nine shouted in protest.
Ryder places the Shard in the Satchel and is approached by two Eggforcers.
"You want these? Go get it yourself!" Ryder yelled as he threw the satchel into the lake.
"Get the Shard! And destroy him!" Mr. Dr. Eggman ordered to the Eggforcers.
Ryder, Sonic and the Eggforcers set off to find the shard, to Tails Nine's relief, and the counterparts' relief.
Rory then turns to the counterparts, preps himself, and rushes to their aid. He Spin Dashes each of the Eggforcers surrounding them and stops at Rex. "So you're the me of your world huh?" He then sees Metal-Bone. "Wow. Never thought I'd see so many of us in one place. I wonder..." He takes a step closer and a small amount of Prismatic Aura erupts from all of their bodies. "Hm, it seems that even though you guys don't have Prism energy of your own, our close proximity to one another allows me to pass it to you. I guess it only happens when it's three or more. No matter, once I'm done, I'll never see any of you again."
"Who are you?" Rusty asks.
"I'm a friend. Don't worry Robo-Amy. I got your back." Rory said before jumping towards the Mothership. and knocking down Dr. Deep with a Spin Attack.
"Oh, no!" Dr. Deep screamed as he fell off the Yolkomotive, his screams fading as he was rescued by the Eggforcers.
"You two make quite the team," Sonic said to the two Roses with a smile.
"Aye, we do," Black Rose replied.
"Now, if you'll excuse me, I've gotta fly," Sonic said, jumping off the Kraken, striking a pose as he dove down.
"Welp. It was nice meeting you. I hope you can take care of him." Ryder said referring to the surrounded Rex.
"Yes... he will be dealt with."
"Ooh ominous. I like it." He then activates his Air Shoes and flies after Sonic.
Rex scans the crew and the leaving Ryder and he then activates his taser hands, slides behind Catfish, and tazes him and froggy before kicking him towards Batten and Sails before flying away.
Rusty sees this and stretches her arm towards him in shock but focus. However before she can reach, he blasts off to the Hedgehogs.
"The Mothership! It's leaving!" Sonic shouted in alarm from his place on the leg of the flying Eggforcer as the Mothership fires an energy beam into the sky, generating a portal while it heads towards it.
"So are we." Ryder said, flying next to him.
Behind them, Rex emerges from below and confronts them in mid-air. He kicks the Eggforcer occupying Sonic, knocking off the shard, which he now has in his possession. He glares at them coldly as he returns to the mothership, while Sonic screams and falls down with a robot part. He is soon rescued by Rex.
"Need a lift?" Rex asked,
"You know it," Sonic replied with a thumbs up.
The Kraken approaches them.
"You must stop them, Sonic. If the Council acquires all the shards, total annihilation is inevitable," Rusty Rose warned urgently.
"Well, doesn't that sound terrifying," Sonic said, uninterested.
Sails calls out. "Sonic, look!" He tosses him the binoculars. Sonic looks through them and sees Dread climbing along the edge of the ship with Rory not too far behind.
"Dread?" Rory Sonic asked, confused.
The Council's ship returns to the Mothership, with Dr. Deep grinning as he holds the shard. Back to Sonic.
"Thanks for the lift!" Sonic called as he and Ryder took off with a long spin jump towards the Mothership.
"Wahhh!" They yelled as they clung to the edge of the Mothership, just in time before the portal closed, leaving the crew.
Thank you for reading and waiting. We've officially reached the halfway point of this story, and boy do I have a doozy in mind for all of you in the finale. But that's four weeks from now. And I hope you enjoyed what I got for you so far. And I am glad to say that I have made great progress on the New Story, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.: Blaze. It even has a surprise main character in store for you. Anywho, I'll see you all next time.
