âYou could say that. But I canât see where they are coming from.â He sounded crazy.
âDid you talk to Solara and Kayla about this?â
âSomehow, I just asked if they could hear the voices and they said no so I left.â
âHow about we go back to the house and we can try and pinpoint the source of the voices.â
âOk, by the way, dad this is one of the duties of a parent.â SJ joked.
âUh-huh, donât get too excited I donât know if I can help you yet.â
SJ and Stephan ran back to the house and from the edge of the forest, they began looking for the source of the voices. When they were done looking around the perimeter of the house they went into the house.
âItâs stronger inside.â SJ led the way as Stephan followed. They went up to Scarletâs room where it was stronger and the apparent source.
SJ froze as he realized where it came from, he stared at her motherâs belly. At that moment he thought about Vincent and Victor and how he assumed that their connection was only because they were twins. He gave his mother a quick kiss hello then left the room even more confused than he was previously.
âHe has that look on his face again. Whatâs wrong with him?âScarlet watched as SJ left the room, his shoulders drooped.
âHe keeps hearing voices and we donât know where they are coming from.â Stephan helped Scarlet up when she struggled to stand up. âI swear you keep growing bigger by the second.â
âI know right. I keep worrying that my back will snap in half or something. What voices is my born child hearing.â
âI donât know, but heâs bothered by it.â Stephan and Scarlet exchanged a worried look.
