Life was better in suppression,
Words now lead to deep depression.
Feelings rise that once were hidden,
Unearthing truths long since forbidden.
Cast awayâthat was my way,
To cope, to keep the hurt at bay.
But now emotions grow too strong,
A tempest where they don't belong.
Chaos breaks like a raging flame,
A restless mind, too wild to tame.
The difference lies within our brains,
A storm of thoughts that leaves its stains.
Confusion swirls, a dreadful sound,
Spiraling fast, Iâm breaking down.
The calm I seek feels far from near,
As I am lost in waves of fear.
