December 31st; 12am
The Extermination Day.
It's only been a couple days since Christmas. Sure.. it was nice while it lasted, gave most of the sinners some joy until everything went back to normal. Though that was bound to happen anyway.
I honestly don't mind helping for just one night a year. At least I don't have to travel and entire ass globe. Fucking shit if santa WAS real i would question if he is actually a human.
But back to the topic at hand.. extermination day. It's started. Only a couple hours ago we finally finished boarding up every entrance to the hotel, making sure no angels get inside. Any openings they find they WILL come in. I learned that the hard way back on my first extermination day. Now I'm just watching through a crack in the boards down in the lobby, seeing the angels come down through a portal in the sky. 24 hours.. that's all we have. Just to survive. It's ok.. we all have survived this long, we will be ok. I hope..
As I'm staring outside with my hands in my pockets, alastor had quietly moved towards me, now standing next to me "It's such a wonderful time of the year isn't it!" He says with a wild smile, causing me to frown and glance at him "yeah. Wonderful." I say with a roll of my eyes and turn to walk away before he clears his throat
"well, it seems you are naked my dear" he says
"Why do you care." I turn and glare at him before angel rushes downstairs yelling "HEY! HEY HEY EVERYONE"
Though his yelling put everyone but alastor on edge, charlie speaks up seeming distressed "w-what is it angel!? Did one of them get in?"
Angel blinks then starts laughing "what? No no babe, i just found out what we could do while we wait"
Vaggie lets out an annoyed groan "dammit angel you cant just scare us like that!"
"Hey not my fault you all are scared toots. Besidesss. This should let everyone loose! Especially those two" he says pointing to me and alastor
I speak up raising a brow "what is that supposed to mean"
"Ah come on babe, you and the pimp have such sexual tension and its sooo noticeable"
Alastor makes a strange radio noise "excuse me. I wouldn't say sexual."
"Yeah more like hatred" i add
Angel simply rolls his eyes before charlie chimes in "well what's your idea angel?"
"Oh right!" He says smiling again "we can play games! 7 minutes in heaven, spin the bottle, truth or dare, strip poker-"
"I HEARD POKER I'M IN." Husks gruff voice speaks up as he comes over with a crate of booze
"Ooo great thinkin' husky we can all drink too! Make it more fun~"
"I just wanna beat your asses in poker."
"Sure ya do kitten~"
I smirk "sounds like the ones with sexual tension is you guys"
Vaggie then picks up a bottle and sneers "really angel? Isnt all those games.."
"Fun? Yeah they are. Hah lets start withhh.. strip poker!"
Alastor laughs nervously "oh im not going to participate"
I look at him "not even if you have your favorite wine involved?" I say as i hold up a bottle, which makes him stare and sigh, sitting in the circle with everyone "thats what i thought deer boy." I say as i sit down with the others
Alastor then, upon realizing something looks up at me with a quizzical expression in his eyes "how did you know it was my favorite wine?"
"Hm?" I look at him "oh. Don't you drink this a lot."
"... no. I don't" he says for a moment before trailing off on his words
"Ah who cares lets get this shit started already! Huskyyy~" angel looks at husk with a very flirty expression
"Cool it spider. I got it." Husk chimes in with a gruff voice before easily dealing all the cards and shit.
[Listen guys idk the first thing about poker so I'm skipping over all that]
Not long after the game started, alastor and husk still have all their clothes on, angel being mostly clothed, meanwhile vaggie charlie nifty and I are all nearly naked, it's embarrassing to say the least. But I've never been good at poker games, not even go fish. But alastor seems to be smug about his winnings, we all know he doesnt want to get undressed, so we all made a plan to try and get him out, husk was forced to join in but he honestly just wanted to see where this would go, so we all decided to fight against alastor in the game, piece by piece after each round he seems more shocked he has to get a piece of clothing off, lucky for him he wears multiple layers.
First his suit jacket, then his vest, next his monocle, belt, shoes, socks.. anything he could think of before he had to expose his body like the rest of us, and I can tell he is getting more flustered. His ears bending downwards as his smile shrank "ahem, I do believe we should stop here dear friends" alastor speaks up, which was then interrupted by angel "oh no no no we ain't stoppin' until we all are naked"
"Angel I think you just wanna see his dick" I look at him with a blank expression
"Whaaaattt... Yeah you're right-"
"Nobody is seeing my privates!" Alastor yells with a red hue spread across his face
"It's ok al, we'll all just be in our underwear, ok?" Charlie assures him
"Yeah angel is just being a horny bitch" I chuckle
"It's my specialty babe~" he winks and smirks as the game continues.
Once alastor had finally taken off his shirt I can see all the scars on his body, and I can't help but stare, not because I like how he looks, well I do, but I stare because I wonder what happened, if that happened before or after death, if he is ok.. if he was ok.. wait why should I care! He didn't care about me! I end up frowning and turning away, seething in my own anger so I don't end up letting some weak emotions get to me again.. I can't be weak, not like before.

Hours pass throughout the long and dreadful day, we all ended up drinking, angel and husk mostly, they ended up getting so drunk I shoved them in a closet during 7 minutes in heaven and I know damn well they were making out in there, maybe even fucking.
At some point, I guess I ended up getting shoved in there as I was getting a tad more drunk than I usually get, alastor being forced inside with me, and we both were locked in a small closet together, nearly touching.
"Apologies dear, I had no choice in the matter" alastor speaks up, his voice irritating me. I'll admit I'm not the best person to get drunk around..
"Don't fucking act like you care. You haven't since I fucking found you" my orange eyes glare up into his red ones
"Dear.. I.." he sighs in defeat and pulls out something from his pocket "if you are who you say you are, then explain the gift I had received for Christmas" he holds out what is in his hand, I'm skeptical, and he can see it, but he pushes his hand still until I look at it.
It was a piece of paper, but actually a photo, a hand drawn one. It looked like the one I drew for him when we were children. Me, him, and the giant red deer we had saw in the woods that day. This may be just some childish drawing, but alastor knew exactly what it was, and I knew too "tell me, what is it."
I frown and hold myself as I look away "since when would you ever believe me. I tried for DECADES."
"Y/n... Tell me"
"... It's... It's the old drawing I made, the night after we saw the red deer. The deer that came up to me, and let me pet it.."
His smile faulters a bit in shock as he slowly puts the paper away
Alastor POV
I can't believe I've been so foolish, so blind. Such an idiot for all these years. All because I didn't recognize my old friend, I ruined what we were, and what we could've been. I can't believe I've been blinded by my own self worth and fear that I didn't dare try to believe them for even a second. Until a couple days ago.. when I finally questioned everything..
"Y/n.. it's actually you?.." I can feel tears well up in my eyes as I try to reach out and grab them, but they slap my hand away and glare up at my tall stature
"Yeah. It's about fucking time you noticed. Took, what, nearly 90 fucking years?"
"Mon amour please-" I try to explain my reasoning, but I know it's no use, I was in the wrong, and I know I was, this was entirely my fault, and I knew it.
"No! I don't want to hear your lousy excuses alastor! First you kill me, and end up sending me to fucking hell because of it. Where I had to fend for myself and CHANGE myself. I CHANGED With the decades too! While YOU stayed the exact same! So full of yourself, a serial killer with no brains because you don't have me there to stop you from doing something so idiotic! Secondly, when I finally found you down here you acted as if I was NEVER even your fucking friend. That none of the time we had together even mattered and that you don't even know me after I tried time and time again to talk to you!" Tears are seen pouring from their eyes as I stand there in silence, letting them go off on me "so I had to go through every single extermiation hiding away while you went out and killed angels because you're SOOO strong! You don't deserve to be an overlord alastor! You may have been the killer in life but I'm the only reason you didn't get caught, I'm the reason why you didn't go to jail multiple times! You took me for fucking granted and all I got was getting murdered and forgotten by your ass!" Their rant is finally over, all that is heard is the heavy breathing that is coming from them, before they finally break down and cover their face, sobbing. "I finally found my fucking place down here too, then you came by and ripped it out of my hands"
"... Y/n.. I.. i realized I took you for granted after I killed you.. and I'm sorry. I should have never done that.. and I was absolutely broken after I found out what I done.. that your blood was on my hands that night.. I couldn't live with myself, I kept.. I became unstable.. I was insane.. I needed you, but.. you weren't there.. I regretted what I've done to you every single day after your passing, even when I died, I could not stop thinking about you. When you finally found me, I still wasn't in a good mental state, I was filled with rage, and bloodlust, I was in the middle of toppling overlords, I was on a power spree that night.. I wasn't thinking, and because you didn't look like you.. not just because you looked demonic.. but because everything about you changed.. your attitude, your hair and clothing style, I just.. I didn't see the y/n that I once had. And I didn't believe it.. I didn't believe you for all this time and I'm sorry... I truly am. And I wish I could go back in time and change the past, but I can't. I can only observe.. that deer we saw this whole time.. it was me.. here in hell.. I was going back in time to our younger, alive selves, watching us.. because I missed you.. and I wish I didn't lose the one friend I had." My voice soft, and my eyes dropped, I longingly look at them, seeing their body has physically relaxed, their mind racing with thoughts, I know they are taking in my words
"And I never meant to take your place here.. you are still Charlie's bodyguard, you are still helpful, I'm just also here to help, charlie is the one confiding in me at the moment, but I promise... I'll include you more often now, you won't be alone" I slowly take their hands as they finally look me in the eyes
"Alastor.. I.. you realize it's going to take a while for me to trust you again.."
"Yes my dear.. I realize that.. I can't change what I've done but all I can do is start being better from this point forward.."Â their eyes glance around, as if trying to think of what to say
"... I forgive you Mon amour.."Â my dead heart skips a beat, I may not have them back completely, but they are finally here, my smile cannot contain this amount of joy, it's so wide, it makes them snort and laugh, the laugh I once loved and I still do.. I havent heard it in decades. I haven't seen them smile in so long "there you go.. you're finally fully dressed!" I cup their face and laugh, which makes them smile more, tears still going down their face
"Alright love birds time is up!!" The whore of a spider is heard behind the door right before he swings it open, the hotel staff seeing y/n holding onto me around my waist with their face against my chest as my hands placed against their head and back
Charlies eyes widen as she notices a change in this behavior "y/n.."
Y/n looks over, finally smiling "surprise, princess"
{Hey guys, I know it's been half a year.. well almost 8 months. But I finally brought you another chapter. I do need help figuring out what to do for the next couple chapters lol
