With the breeze brushing by his ears, Bai Zhi secretly glanced to the side at the person engrossed in driving, and he suddenly felt somewhat happy in his heart.

Now, the villain shouldn’t hate him, right?

Isn’t he a step away from completing his mission now?

It would be great if he could just progress more……

Bai Zhi pondered for a while, suddenly saying: “Senior, let me tell you1 a joke ba.”

Fang Jingmo gave him a sideways look, not agreeing or refuting.

Bai Zhi amused himself once more: “Hahahahaha……”

Fang Jingmo: ……

Bai Zhi laughed as he continued to speak: “Once upon a time——”

“Once upon a time, there was a foolish demon.” Fang Jingmo suddenly said, interrupting Bai Zhi’s words: “It had not yet cultivated its human form, it was dim-witted and also didn’t know how to find things for when it was hungry. When it saw nestlings inside of their nest crying out to eat, it climbed up into the nest and also followed after them and cried out. As a result, it was pecked all over by the mother bird, and uglily tried to frantically escape back into its cave-dwelling.”

Fang Jingmo’s voice was nonchalant: “Is it funny?”

Bai Zhi shook his head as if his life depended on it.

But Fang Jingmo slightly hooked his lips: “It’s funny.”

Bai Zhi didn’t have the slightest idea of what integrity was, and immediately changed to nodding: “It’s funny.”

Fang Jingmo turned his head as he slowly parked his car.

“We’ve arrived, get out.”

Bai Zhi heard what was said and took a glimpse at the environment of the building, discovering that Fang Jingmo had already sent himself downstairs.

“Thank you, senior!” He said no more, hurriedly opened the door and got out.

Fang Jingmo immediately restarted the car, slowly leaving the place.

Bai Zhi watched the person gradually leave further away, silently speaking:

“Uncle, are you here?”

Topics like those flooded in a flash, Bai Zhi watched silently for a while. He turned off his phone and continued to sleep.

Then Liu Yi herself spoke out, explaining that she had simply fainted from hypoglycemia, and shot a video of herself to prove that she was indeed safe and sound. She also apologised to Du Jian on Weibo. Because he had actually done a good deed in passing, Du Jian was faced with scolding all day. She felt very sorry for this.

Du Jian very strongly brought out two waves of hot searches in a day, and they’re still hanging high on Weibo at the moment.

Liu Yi was already unable to maintain the smile on her face: “Ha?”

“Forget about it.” Bai Zhi promptly waved his hands: “You can just pay me back in the future.”

Liu Yi didn’t say anything for quite a while, fortunately, the directing team appeared at this moment.

“Your mission is to head to the hut before sunrise and sort out your breakfast yourself. Draw lots to assemble groups of two, and begin.”

Bai Zhi stood in the same spot, waiting for the person who got him to come over. But once again, he saw Liu Yi swaying her high ponytail.

“Don’t look at me like that, I really did casually draw it out.”

Liu Yi put one hand on Bai Zhi’s shoulder, indicating with her head: “You can’t resist fate when it comes ah, come, let’s go together.”

Bai Zhi wanted to cry but there were no tears. But fate had found the wrong person!

“The well is behind the mountain, you need to carry it on a shoulder pole yourselves.” The director reminded again.

“You find other people, I’ll carry water on a shoulder pole.” Bai Zhi made a prompt decision.

Liu Yi raised her head and looked at him, suddenly smiling: “I won’t necessarily be able to bring back many things.”

“They’re all yours if you find it.”

“Alright, I’m off.”

Liu Yi ran off in an instant, Bai Zhi finally let out a long breath, resigning himself to carrying the bucket.

When they had finally arrived at the back of the mountain, there were already two guys. They gritted their teeth and very carefully carried the buckets in their hands down the mountain road. Bai Zhi wasn’t too familiar with them, he also didn’t want to get too involved with people outside of the mission. He simply went around, quickly finished getting water, held the bucket and ran away.

Bai Zhi was very considerate and slowed down his speed to take care of the photography boy. A bucket of water went into the jar, the bucket was empty in an instant.

Bai Zhi looked at the absolutely empty bucket and looked at the not yet filled jar. He contemplated for a moment, lifting the bucket again.

The two male guests from before had not yet gone down the mountain, this kind of mountain road wasn’t easy to walk on. What’s more, they also had a large bucket in their hands. They slowed their speed, planning to rest a little for a while, then they heard a wave of footsteps.

Bai Zhi carried the bucket without regard for others, leaping ahead of their bodies. Not even a moment later, he was carrying another bucket of water down the mountain, going past them.

The great demon, Bai Zhi, filled the water jar until he was perfectly content and put down the bucket. He squatted, butt on the ground, beginning to think of what he should do.

He had not yet thought it out when Liu Yi came back, biting an apple: “I didn’t many people, just brought these back.”

She casually tossed a plastic bag to Bai Zhi: “A few fruits, half it.”

Bai Zhi looked at these ordinary fruits lacking spiritual energy, his heart disdaining them: “I don’t want it, I’ll give it all to you ba.”

“Really? You’re not hungry?” Liu Yi took another bite.

Bai Zhi shook his head, suddenly remembering something after a moment: “Aren’t you hypoglycemic? Can you hang on?”

Liu Yi had a bright smile on her face: “Those days, I was losing weight. I’m all right, I got better early.”

“Oh.”

“Are you worried about me?”

“I’m not worried.” Bai Zhi cast a glance at her.

Liu Yi, contrariwise, suddenly looked interested: “Do you have someone you like?”

“Don’t panic.” The system said: “She might fancy you.”

“I have someone I like, but it’s not you.” Bai Zhi promptly answered.

“Oh.” Liu Yi finished taking the last bite of her apple: “Is she good-looking?”

“Good-looking!”

“Handsome?”

“Taller than you!”

Liu Yi’s tone was profound: “I’m 177cm.”

“He’s9 187cm!”

There was a weird silence all around for a moment. Liu Yi glanced at him, tilting her head. Her tone was dragged very long:

“So that’s how it is ah.”

Zenne: Hahhhhh, finally done. I could translate 3k chaps in 2 days or so but then it just makes me not wanna translate for a while. So, hope you can bear with these updates that come every 5 days or so. This arc is soon ending and I’m not looking forward to the next arc since I found it kinda boring. But, some of you guys might enjoy it so, whatever. There are also two phrases that I’m kinda iffy about, so I’ll fix those soon.
