Every day, Bai Zhi enjoyed the luxurious lifestyle of having someone feed him when he was hungry, hug him when he went to sleep, and hand him clothes when he was cold. No one answered.

Gesius’s brows slowly furrowed, and his hand gripped his sword more tightly. He scanned all four directions once, and said low voice to Bai Zhi:

“Follow me from behind, and follow very closely.”

Bai Zhi didn’t dare interrupt. He straightened his ears to hear the surrounding movements with exceptional alertness.

Before long, the inside of the forest became foggy. Unable to see clearly, Gesius directly held Bai Zhi’s hand and pulled him along very carefully,  just in case.

The fog became denser and denser. Even if something was right in front of their eyes it would be hard to see clearly. Bai Zhi very distinctively felt the person pulling him walk faster and faster. He was pulled to the point of almost tripping, yet the speed of the person ahead didn’t slow at all.

He instantly lashed out at that hand with his tail, pulled out a knife, and slashed forward.

The refined witch with short silver hair intercepted his blade steadily, her expression carrying a few hints of surprise:

“How did you notice?”

Bai Zhi looked at her unwaveringly and said word for word: “He wouldn’t let me trip.”

“Tch…” After a very long time, that witch pulled the corners of her lips up and revealed a smile:

Gesius held his sword ready, stepped on the muddy forest floor, and said in a glacial tone:

The light laughter of the woman sounded eerily in the empty space: “Sure, if you walk forward…you will be able to meet that dragon. But whether he is dead or alive…it’s impossible to know.”

The witch’s expression changed.

Bai Zhi was currently standing in his original spot extremely anxiously. The silver-haired witch just now had disappeared without a trace after finishing her last sentence, Bai Zhi didn’t meet her again after searching everywhere for a long time.

Seeing his panicked appearance, the system also felt a little awkward, but it still silently comforted its nephew: “It’s ok it’s ok, if something happened to Gesius then there will definitely be a notice on my side. That witch must be lying, don’t panic nephew.”

Gesius froze.
