"this hitting ma" I mumbled eating the mac n cheese my mom cooked, I really only liked my moms cooking and that's why I didn't really eat before because I only wanted her food
"You eat like a old man" Tara shook her head
"man please" I waved her off
"you know your brother is coming down tomorrow" my mom said making me snap my head up and look at her
"for what?" I jerked my head back, I had a older brother that I lowkey didn't like. Me and him never really got along because he was a bitch to be honest. He ain't really care about my mom nigga ain't even come to see her when she was in the hospital.
He always only came down to Florida because he wanted he wanted money, and he would try to manipulate my mom. And since she loved him with all her heart of course she gave him something every time.
And ever time I tried to tell my mom to not give him anything, she would it didn't matter what I said. Which I understood cause that was her child, and I had no say so.
"listen I'm not going to be here forever kai, and I want you and your brother to be good" she said and I just shook my head cause she ain't have to say the first part
"mhm" I mumbled shrugging cause I ain't even care anymore, if he wanted to come down here oh well. I was tired of getting all mad about people who clearly ain't give a fuck about me.
"so when he comes I want you to hang out and you know be brothers fr" she said and I just nodded
"Only doing it for you" i shrugged putting his plate in the sink

"DAMN SORAIH" kai yelled as soriah tore the wax strip off his leg, she laughed listening to yell cause he was being dramatic in her eyes
"man ain't shit funny" he mumbled mugging her
"Let me do one more" she said smiling
"hell no, ion even know why I agreed to that shit in the first place" kai said mumbling the last part
"cause you love me that's why" she said as he laughed under his breath walking past her and back into his room
Soriah laughed as she cleaned his bathroom, and he layed back down in bed rubbing his leg before he put his headset on and grabbed his controller
"nah bitch nigga!" Duke yelled into the mic
"nigga you a pussy omm" teek yelled, they was arguing over some game that teek had lost and he was mad about it
"can y'all shut up" I mumbled cause they was literally screaming in my ear
"Oh look who back" teek said an a weird tone, and I just ignored them both as they continued to argue
"did that shit hurt fr?" Soriah asked walking into his room and Kai nodded
"Who dat? Soriah?" Teek said and Kai let out a small 'yea'
"what y'all doing" teek asked in a nosy ass tone
"nigga mind yo business" Kai mumbled as soriah came over and layed her head on his shoulder
"wait so you wit my sister fr?" Duke asked, and Kai just kinda stayed quite. I mean no he wasn't wit soriah but he wanted to be so he ain't even know how to answer that
"I guess" kai mumbled
"whatchu mean you guess?" Duke asked
"Ima just be straight up. Yeah we talk I guess" he mumbled
"mm" Duke mumbled, Duke ain't really have a problem with them being together if they was going to be. Cause he knew kai was a good guy and he knew he wouldn't do anything to hurt soriah especially cause Duke would probably try to kill him.
"well I'm finna get off cause y'all niggas lame as fuck" teek said
"alright Nigga" Duke mumbled, and Kai muted his mic because soriah tapped his leg
"hm?"kai said as he continued too look at the tv
"watch this" she said and he paused his game looking at her. She then rolled off the bed falling on her head
"see why you do that shit" kai laughed and she rubbed her getting up
"idk" she shrugged
"aw it's 12 pm already" soriah frowned as kai got up and turned his game off
"just stay the night, ion like sleeping without you anyway" he shrugged and she nodded a little
"well how you be sleeping?"
"I don't" he laughed under his Breath
"I thoughr you said you ain't like sleeping wit me" she laughed
"I was tryna be hard back then, I liked it then and I love it now" he shrugged
"Mm" she mumbled as he went and layed his head on her chest
"what are you doing tomorrow?" She asked
"I gotta go see my brother" he shrugged
"you got a brother??" She asked in a confused tone, because she had never heard him talk about any siblings or any other family member than his mom.
And that was because he only loved his mom fr, he ain't care about none of his other family members cause they ain't do shit for him
"yeah" he mumbled
"you got class tomorrow?" He asked and she shook her head no
"wanna do sum tomorrow?" She asked
"yeah what?" He asked closing his eyes and moving so he could get comfortable on her chest
"I don't know yet" she shrugged
"just tell me in the morning" he mumbled in his raspy sleepy voice, and she nodded. They sat there in silence and darkness as the only source of light being the tv.
He had already fell asleep and she was just scrolling until a text popped up at the top of her screen.

Soriah looked at the message for a little while tryna figure how the nigga meant it. It was giving stalker vibes in her mind. So she just left him on read and put her phone over on the nightstand.
She slightly pushed kai off of her so she could get in the covers, which made him wake up a little bit and turn in his sleep. She cuddled up under him, rubbing his face until she eventually fell asleep
