"And you don't think I've missed you too.. shit hasn't been the same without you maya" Soriah laughed holding the phone up to her ear.
"yea that's what you say, but I see you and Kai living happily all on Instagram" Amaya laughed under her breath causing soriah to scrunch her face up.
"I mean kai has nothing to do with me missing you though" soriah laughed once more before putting her phone on speaker as she walked throughout Kai's house.
"Yea i guess, but we both know you stuck on that Nigga" Amaya responded causing soriah to laugh lowly.
"you probably over there playing wifey right now" Amaya added making soriah roll her eyes as if amaya could see her through the phone.
"playing wifey is crazyy, i don't even partake in such activities." Soriah shook her head.
"Oh girl please. You don't move without that nigga beside you " Amaya said sounding as if she was complaining.
"now you just lying." Soriah said before the both of them started laughing.
"Now can we not talk about me and Kai, and instead talk about mari's birthdayyy" soriah dragged out while changing the subject.
"uh oh yea her birthday is coming up" maya dismissively said
"yea in two weeks.. did you forget ?" Soriah asked.
"no i didn't. me and her just haven't been on good terms lately, so she hasn't really been on my mind " Amaya laughed.
"I wish one of you would tell me what's going on between y'all but whatever." Soriah said while walking into the kitchen.
"yeaaa i don't think she would really wanna see me on her birthday, hell i don't wanna see her either." Amaya responded.
"well.. ok then" soriah simply said.
"what were you thinking about doing for her anyways ?"
"I don't even know yet. Ima figure it out though, next week is kinda busy though i gotta go to some party that cortez momma throwing and then some other shit" soriah explained.
"You going with Kai ain't you ?" Amaya said before sucking her teeth in. "Well duh" soriah laughed.
"See my point exactly, you can't be away from that nigga for 2 minutes" soriah heard as she took her phone off speaker and put it back up to her ear as she saw kai come down stairs.
"No I'm just going to support him.. you know what ion' gotta explain shit to you" soriah laughed while amaya
Right before Amaya could completely reply, soriah saw kai coming towards the kitchen where soriah was standing.
"Amaya ima um call you backâ" the call ended as soon as the words came out soriah's mouth.
"well damn" Soriah mumbled.

"Soriah chill out, I'm fineâ" kai said as soriah felt him all over his face. He shook his head as she completely ignored him and continued to look at him to make sure that he was actually okay.
"I got shot in my leg, not my head" kai laughed before she sighed and just started hugging him. Kai looked over at Duke who was shaking his head at how his sister was acting.
"I told her yo ass ain't die." Duke said.
Kai only got shot in his leg and stomach, but every bullet went in and out and so he was fine. So fine that the doctors decided to dismiss him the same day.
"you thought i died mama" kai laughed, tapping the lower side of her back. "uh maybe but like i ain't never been in this type of situation, so my bad for thinking the worse" she pulled back from the hug to look at him.
"You know i ain't going nowhere. Niggas can try all they want" kai shrugged before she pecked him on the lips.
"Niggas ? you know who did this or assum" Duke spoke up causing kai to look over at him but before he could respond they all heard soriah's phone go off.
Kai watched as soriah pulled her phone out her pocket, since she was standing in between his legs he could see her phone and the person who was calling her.
Soriah and kai both seen the contact name which was "Amaya" she turned to him and he said "go answer it, I'm okay" he rubbed her lower back.
Just as soriah stepped out the room, kai looked over at Duke and said "whoever did this shit.. killed cortez"
"Bro that's not even possible." Duke shook his head, "and we both know why."
"Nigga you wasn't sitting right there with Cortez when he got shot. You went and killed them niggas assuming they did that to him" kai replied back.
"So yea, it's definitely a possibility" He added before Duke jerked his head back.
The two of them never really talked about what they did after cortez did. Kai just knew that Duke went and killed some niggas he thought that did it.
Kai ain't know why because he had no proof, he just figured it was because he was hurt. That shit didn't make it right though.
"Nigga let that shit go. You bringing all this shit up as if i didn't kill them niggas" Duke said.
"what I'm tryna getchu to realize is, did you even kill the right Niggas ?" Kai tilted his head.
"I had to do what i had too. Yo ass sure wasn't finna do shit" Duke snapped back completely ignoring everything kai said.
"Yea cause I'm not finna just be killing random ass niggas for no gahdamn reason" kai slightly scrunched his face up
"I know you needed somebody to blame for that shit, but damn you couldn't wait till you at least thought you had the right niggas ?" Kai said.
Duke stayed quiet, but by the time he decided to speak back up soriah had walked back in.
"uh. are y'all okay, i feel a whole lotta tension right now" Soriah jerked her head back before walked back over to kai.
"Yea we good. What amaya want ?" He asked switching the subject almost immediately.
"nun. I guess she heard you got shot and she thought maybe i got hurt. Idk she was kinda talking really fast, i couldn't even tell what all she was saying" Soriah looked confused explaining it all to kai.
Kai nodded at soriah's reply before Duke leaned up off the wall and said "I'll see y'all niggas later" he said but before anyone of them could respond he walked out.
Soriah squinted her eyes looking at kai. The two of them were acting very funny and she was confused.. as always.
"The fuck is wrong with the two of y'all ?" She simply said.
"I told you nun ry." Kai chuckled.

"Oh no this one is cuter" Soriah gasped, looking at the kissing stop motion that she was about to post of her and Kai.
"I like the other one, but chu' know you know best" kai scratched his head.
"now see that's what I'm talking about. give me a high five" she stuck her hand up but he only stared at her.
"Alright be like that then" she sucked her teeth in.
He looked at her, realizing that her attitude would start in only a moment. "My bad." He shook his head.
She continued looking at her phone, ignoring whatever he was saying to her.
"I said my bad luh girl" he mumbled before softly pulling her over to him by her neck.
She glanced at him with a smile, because now she had gotten what she wanted.
"I heard you kai" she looked back down at her phone.
"Mhm" he lifted her chin up, so that now her focus was only on him. He then kissed her lips very softly.
She sat her phone down so that she could wrap her arms around his neck. She watched as he pulled back from her kisses and start kissing her neck.
"Kai" she softly said.
"hm" he hummed as a response.
"What're you doing" she smiles now noticing that his hands was halfway down her pants.
"Whatever you want me to do soriah" he replied back, pulling her body closer to him with one tug.
She was going to respond to him and he knew that, which is why he quickly pulled her back in for a kiss.
Kai placed her back on the counter, so that he now was standing in front of her and had full control.
Soriah started to take her biker shorts off, but was interrupted immediately by the sound of a door bell.
Kai shook his head, showing that he didn't want to answer the door and wanted to continue what they were doing.
but the door bell continued getting rung and rung. Till eventually soriah pulled away from kai, "answer the door" she told him.
He shook his head after looking at her for so long. "Fine I'll do it, hold on" she jumped down from the counter as she pulled her shorts back up.
Kai threw his head back in irritation "fuckk" he mumbled. Soriah quickly went to open the door, leaving kai in the kitchen all alone.
He followed behind her very slowly but by the time he made it to the door she was already speaking to whomever it was.
"Is kai here" kai heard just as he made it to the door.
Just as he looked up, he saw AJ along with TEEK who was standing right beside him.
