Leah's heart skipped a beat from this sound. She had only met Master Harris a few times. When they met each other back then, the atmosphere was not exactly pleasant either. Even so, they were not at loggerheads with each other like what was happening now.
What exactly happened?
Did she do something to make Grandpa Harris mad? Or did the Jones family or Jones Group do something to offend Grandpa Harris, hence he was taking his anger out on her?
"I am more experienced than you. You think you can fool me with that petty scheme of yours?!" Master Harris was almost completely yelling. "Do you take me for a fool?!"
He sounded extremely serious when he said those words.
Leah wiped the blood from the corner of her mouth. She still had no idea what was going on. The more she said, the more mistakes she would make.
It would be wiser for her to hold her tongue.
"You feel ashamed that someone is staring at you?" Master Harris asked her again.
Before she could answer, he ordered Ken. "Go and make this young man a cup of tea. Make sure he sits on the couch and takes a good look at this!"
He emphasized the last four words in particular.
Leah frowned and turned to look at the employee.
Meanwhile, the employeeâs legs were completely useless and could not even move under her and Master Harrisâ stare. Ken grabbed him by the collar straight away and lifted him onto the sofa, then ordered one of his subordinates to make a cup of tea.
"Can I ask why youâre doing this, Grandpa Harris?" As soon as Leah spoke, the bruise on her mouth would hurt when she stretched it. "Is there a misunderstanding between us?"
Master Harris rapped his cane on the ground abruptly and raised his voice. "A misunderstanding?"
As a man who had been in a high position for a long time, he had a dominating aura. The employee was so terrified that he nearly fell off the couch.
"Let me ask you a question first. Two years ago, was it your idea to take advantage of the news of the Jones and Harris familyâs marriage alliance so that Jones Group could enter the electrical appliances market?" Master Harris asked.
Leah bit her lip and replied obediently, "I admit that it was my idea, but didn't you already talk to the Jones family about this a few days ago? Jones Group has made the corresponding compensations already."
"You just need to answer yes or no. Thereâs no need to talk a bunch of nonsense!" Master Harris snapped.
Leah frowned. Even so, she still responded âokayâ in a soft voice.
"I'll ask you again, were you the one who told me about Sophia's fake pregnancy?" Master Harris asked.
Leah nodded, wanting to give a brief explanation but stopped herself from doing so after she recalled his castigation earlier.
Master Harrisâs mouth was dry from all the talking. He picked up the tea and took a sip. As soon as the tea touched his lips, he turned his head and spat it all on the floor. "What is this?!"
"Itâs..." Leah had just opened her mouth when he cut her off. "You don't need to answer!"
Leah's throat rolled a little. She was holding a document in her hand and was unconsciously crumpling up the edge of the paper. Her expression looked slightly awful.
Although the employee agreed that Master Harris had gone too far, he dared not say a word about it.
"Iâd rather drink plain water than stuff like that. Go, pour me a glass of water!" Master Harris ordered Ken before looking at Leah again. "I will ask you again, you knew about Sophiaâs fake pregnancy from the start?"
Leah had indeed suspected that Sophia was faking her pregnancy since the start. Sophia mentioned that her child was two months old now, but she had been admitted into the emergency room several times about a month ago.
Even if she was actually pregnant, she would not have been able to keep the baby either!
Therefore, she nodded.
"Sophia was speaking the truth after all!" Master Harris sprung up from the couch, layer upon layer of dark clouds enshrouded his face. "So youâre indeed the one who suggested that she fake her pregnancy!"
If Leah was the one who came up with the idea, then it would make perfect sense why she knew that Sophia was faking her pregnancy from the start!
Leah was stunned by the accusation. When she came back to her senses, her face turned pale as she explained in a hurry. "Is there any misunderstanding, Grandpa Harris? I have never suggested that Sophia fake her pregnancy!"
What was going on?
Sophia told Grandpa Harris that she was the one who suggested she fake her pregnancy?
Master Harris did not believe a word she said. He gnashed his teeth and said, "Youâre still trying to deny it!"
"I'm not trying to deny it, Grandpa Harris!" Leah said hastily, "Let me say something that you may find unpleasant to hear. I've always had a crush on Charles, so why would I give Sophia any ideas at all?"
Master Harris said, "Yes, of course you wouldnât be so kind as to give her any ideas.â
Leah breathed a sigh of relief after hearing what he said. Sweat had already soaked through her clothes.
Then, Master Harris continued, "You were up to no good when you gave her this idea! You told me about her fake pregnancy because you wanted to use me to get rid of this thorn in your side, werenât you?! I am only forced to echo your ideas. One after another. What a perfect plan, huh!"
Usually, he would have already praised her for doing well. However, he was the one who was caught in her scheme this time, hence this was a completely different matter! No one was allowed to set him up!
The blood completely drained from Leahâs face. "Grandpa Harris, I can explain. This doesn't make sense at all..."
"Leah, you shouldn't have included me in your scheme. You will soon regret it!" Master Harris cut her off and said with a ruthless expression, "Also, no matter how smart you are, you still got your calculations wrong. Sophia is really pregnant. Your plan to use me to get rid of her has failed!"
Having said that, he gave Leah no more chance to explain herself and left with Ken and several other men.
Leah could walk now, but she did not want anyone to see her limping. She sat in her wheelchair and turned the wheels swiftly to chase after him.
"Grandpa Harrisâ"
No response.
Master Harris did not even turn back to take a look.
Leah's eyelids began twitching violently. Her limbs were weak and sore.
What was going on?
How did things turn out this way?
Atrophy of Love: Mr. Harris, Stop Fooling Around!
ï¤Chapter 318 She Did Not Know How To Start Leah grabbed the wheelchair armrest abruptly, a gloomy and cold look flashed across her eyes. Oh right, Grandpa Harris said that Sophia was the one who said it... Sophia, Sophia was actually pregnant... If that was the case, the hickey on her neck!
Her pupils contracted suddenly. Sophia had actually... set her up?!

Once the needles were removed from Sophiaâs leg, she returned to the White residence with Charles. After getting out of the car, she noticed that the window on the second floor was open. Her mother was standing by the window staring at something so intently that she did not even notice her.
"It's cold. I think you should close the window instead of standing in a draught like that. You arenât really in good health." Sophia hesitated for a moment before speaking to her.
Jenny was taken aback at the sound of her voice and was momentarily stunned before saying in a fluster, "Mm. I just want to look at the scenery. I wasnât thinking about anything else. Ha... Iâll close the window this instant."
She gave Sophia a sheepish smile and closed the window.
Sophia frowned slightly, though she did not say anything else. She fished out her phone and sent Victor a WeChat message.
Sophia: [Dr. Hemingway, do you know any better psychologists out there?]
She was staring at her phone as she walked in and nearly stumbled to the ground.
"Be careful!" Charles had been staring intently at her. Seeing this, he quickly grabbed her by the waist and pulled her into his arms.
Sophia said thank you without sparing him a look. She was still staring intently at her phone.
