MERCY'S POV
I opened my small sized suit case where I keep all my cameras. I brought out my camera , not the new one oo. That one is still my treasure and It's still in the box sef.
I dropped the camera on my bed and entered the bathroom to take my bath.
When I was done , I wore my slim fitted three-quater jeans and a crop top since the sun was still hot and shining. That heat ehn .. I repeat that heat ehn.
I wore a simple sandal and grabbed my glasses. Yes I wear glasses but once in a while . I cleaned the lens and wore it then hanged my camera on my neck.
I carried one of my back bag and walked to the kitchen. It's boring living alone like this. A flash of what happened yesterday crossed my eyes and all I can say is Trisha is a coward.
I opened the fridge and picked the snacks to eat today. I put them in my bag and closed it. My snacks were reducing and I guess I'll have to do some shopping.
I sighed as I picked the packed bread. I opened the nylon and picked four loaves out.
I grabbed the butter from the fridge and placed it on the counter. I took a spoon and used it to scoop and smoothen the butter on the bread.
I arranged it on the toaster and sat on the counter waiting for it to toast.
I unlocked my phone and a message from Teni greeted me.
TENI ð¤ ; where are you?
ME ; am at home oo. I'll soon be there.
I tapped my fingers on the counter as I waited ,
I recalled what Idara said , she was actually worried that only I will be living in a house. She even said what if thieves come or something happens but I told her to think positively and I wasn't ready to tell my mum.
The toaster beeped making me jump down.
I opened it and removed the pair of toasts and placed them on a flat plate.
I ate it fast and soon enough I was outside and locking the door.
I walked downstairs, the whole compound was quite meaning everyone was out well except from that apartment beside Deborah's own.
That apartment ehn , I still think that they're Yahoo boys . I will even ask Fikunmi when I come back. But well because of them we always listen to latest songs.
They loved playing songs and it's always loud so even when I'm inside my own apartment sef , it will still be heard and it was a plus that they had great choice in music.

"Bye guys." I said to joy and Esther as I waved . Teni was standing beside me waiting for me to finish saying goodbye.
We were going on our tour today and Teni over here is my tour guide. We both walked out of the class with our cameras hanged on our necks .
"This sun is too hot." I said as the sun was burning my poor skin.
"I swear. I don tire. Rain should even fall." He said making me chuckle.
"I can't wait for that day that the rain would finally fall. So where are we going first?" I Asked with a grin.
"I'm taking you to a popular place , you know new hall right?" He asked me with a raise eyebrow.
"No I don't. I told you na." I said back making me chuckle.
"Okay don't worry , I'll show you everywhere today. " He said and walked closer . He slowly reached for my hand and held it .
I looked at it , at our hands and I remembered how Hakeem held my hand too when we were at the cinema but it was all a show.
And Teni here isn't pulling this as a show. I smiled at that thought and looked at the front.
"How's your sister?" I asked him , his sister is so beautiful and cute. He's younger sister by the way , and she's popular on tiktok sef.
I swear I can't wait to see her again. I saw her once , when they came for the matric stuff and cute is an understatement. They are all beautiful in their family.
And I'm even following her on tiktok. Apparently, before Teni resumed they use to do the videos together but now it's just her and their mum.
"She's fine . She said I should greet you sef." He said back making me chuckle.
"Really?" I asked back
"Yeah... Sometimes I think you like her more than me." He said making me laugh.
"Please don't think too much , I do oo." I said back making him hold his chest with his free heart.
"Ouch that hurts." He replied with a pout which looked cute .
I pouted back , "Pelee." I said .
He pointed at a building
"This is the popular new hall , inside it there's two male hostels , Enijoko and Shodeinde , there's also three female hostels , Makama , MTH and Fagunwa." He said making me look at the area with different buildings.
It was big and different ppl were walking in and out of it.
"Is this Esther and joy's hostel?" I asked
"I think so." He said back with a shrug.
My eyes caught two ladies laughing heartily and I quickly grabbed my camera and clicked it.
Capturing the moment. They were holding each other's hands and surprisingly they jumped at that moment giving the picture a unique look.
I showed Teni and he looked so surprised,
"This is so wonderful and beautiful Mercy. " He said with a large grin.
We walked pass there our hands still held together. I was a little worried since my palm was sweating but he wasn't complaining.
"Are you hungry?" He asked suddenly,
"Yes !" I said back ,
We walked and we reached one area where there were lots of canteens or restaurants anyone .
He held my hand and we walked into one shop.
'iya Moria Amala joint' was written in front of it.
The shop was full showing that their food is really good. We sat down on one of the plastic chairs which had tables in front of it.
We both ordered for Amala and ewedu.

"That food made sense." Teni said from beside me,
"Made? More than made it's over delicious." I said back as we kept on walking.
"My leg is paining me oo."
"Pelee, and we have taken only three pictures remaining two."
"Yeah."
"Okay let's go to the sport center."
"Sport center?"
"Yeah . Let's enter a taxi . "
He waved his hand and a taxi stopped.
We both entered ,
"Sport center." Teni said ,
"You get change?" The man asked back.
""I have hundred naira ." Teni replied making the man nod.
He started driving off to the sport center ,
"So are you sure we'll be able to take pictures there?"Â I asked , seriously I was already drained and this sun wasn't helping.
"I hope so too. I'll be the one to edit the pictures right?" He asked back.
"We can as well share it ."
"Okay I'll take three you'll take two since you're the one who has been taking the shots ." He said back making me nod.
"Okay fine ."
The taxi stopped and Teni stretched a hundred naira note to him.
He collected it and brought out some naira notes from his pocket and searched before finding the two twenty naira notes he stretched back at us .
We stepped down and walked to the sport center , different people were there some playing basket ball and others football.
We walked closer to the basket ball court and watched .
I love basketball, and I'm proud to say I can play it. I used to play it in my secondary school and I was even the assistant captain.
The guy from one of the team grabbed the ball , bounced the ball and ran with it. A player from the other team where he was running too wanted to block him but he ran past the guy and kept on bouncing the ball, he threw the ball and it entered the basket.
I started clapping cause that throw was amazing, the guy was really good.
I looked back at the basketball court and the boy was laughing, and the rest of his team mates were gathering him while laughing.
I quickly took a shot of that and it came out well .
"That was so good." I said to Teni who was with the camera checking the pictures apparently he also snapped too with his own camera.
I checked his and his own was when the guy jumped,
"Maybe we could use it as the last two."he said , I looked back at the front and my eyes caught the player who got the ball in the basket and he winked.
I smiled back , don't blame me he was looking so hot while playing in just a jersey shorts and a tank top.
Teni who was still beside me was still checking the camera not knowing what was happening here.
Well it's not like I was doing something bad and why was I feeling guilty, it's not like we're dating or something.
"Let's go." I said and that caught Teni's attention,
"I thought you were watching the match." He asked with a raised eyebrows
"The sun is too hot and it's draining my energy." I said back making him nod.
He held my hand and we both walked out I felt a lingering gaze on me ,
I turned back and I met that guy's eyes on me.
I quickly faced front back and kept on walking with Teni .
Who's this guy now?

More drama ,
