MERCY'S POV
We walked to the place Teni said was the final place .
It was a garden and different people were sitting in different areas.
The place looked so beautiful and I grabbed my camera and took a shot of a guy and a lady smiling at each other.
"This place is so cool." I said as I turned to look at Teni, only to meet him already staring at him and he didn't even bother to look away.
I dropped my camera from my hand and it fell back to my chest.
"Mercy." He called walking closer to me,
"Uhm ... Yeah." I said back with a gulp making him smile,
"Will you go on a date with me?" He asked looking deep in my eyes,
Teni is asking me out on a date, the guy I insulted for pushing me and who I later started talking too after that simple text he sent.
He was looking at me with uncertainty playing in his eyes , because I was just staring.
You can't blame my head is still processing the information , but it's only a date.
A smile found its way to my face because of the expression on his face ,
" A date you say?" I asked back and it warned a chuckle from him
"You heard me Mercy." He said in a low voice , walking closer and holding my hand .
I smiled , "okay I did , and yes I'll go." I said not even through with what I was saying he hugged me,
My heart was beating so fast , as his warm arms wrapped round my body.
My head was resting on his chest listening to his heartbeat. His breath was tingling my ears and it made me smile , was I falling for Teni?

"Mercy." I turned back but couldn't find the person calling my name.
"Mercy!" The person called again and I turned back , I spotted someone waving and I couldn't really see the face cause I wasn't wearing my glasses.
I picked my glasses from my top where I hanged it and put it on , it was Trisha.
She walked closer making me wonder how many things I would face today.
First was the basketball guy then Teni asking me out and now her.
Teni and I separated at the gate and even though he said he wanted to escort me home I knew he was tired too so I told him to go home straight.
"Hey Mercy." She said when she was right in my front.
I sighed as I looked at her ,
"Mercy , uhm... I talked to Mide and he told me I was a fool for moving out and I should have made it right to you . And I know I might seem like a very unserious person right now but can you let me move back in with you ... You know to make it right." She said with a frown .
She wants to move back in , again.
"It's your house Trisha. You can decide anytime." I said back at her making her nod.
"So how have you been doing?" I surprised myself by asking her.
She sighed,
"I'm.. I'm not doing good at all. My elder sister has been sick and she's just recovering, I thought I would lose her weeks ago and that thought was killing." She said back ,
Wow all this was happening to her and she didn't tell me,
"You didn't tell me." I said back accusingly.
"I thought you were wrong at the moment remember? I'm sorry again about how I acted ." Her reply made me wonder ,
"So how's she now?" I asked her as we both walked to our house.
"She's doing better now. She's a huge fan of Korea films like you so I packed all the series I had to the hospital right after she woke up from heir mini coma." She said chuckling.
Ehhhh, what did she just say, so she didn't do it because she was ignoring me . So I've been wrong all along? This is not making sense at all.
"What about the party time , was she sick that time too?" I asked ,
"Uhm yeah... It was taking a toll on me , I really love my sister and when I woke up to a call that my sister has appendicitis I was overwhelmed. So one day Mide told me to at least let go even if it's just for a day and we all went to a party. I think I had a lot that day but it helped me relax even for that night." She said again spoiling the matter.
So I have been judging her wrongly , and now that I think about it , wait I don't even know what to think about again.
"What about the gas time ? Why couldn't you just talk to me?"
"Gas? Oh that time, I was actually waiting for you but then I received a call that something was wrong but she's better now and I just decided to write it on the paper. Did that offend you?" She asked ,
We were already in front of the house and I could see Mide's car from afar.
"Yeah I thought.... You know what don't worry. I hope she becomes healed in Jesus name and you're welcome anytime." I replied back to her question making her smile
"Thanks and I have to go. And i saw you today with one fine boy , I'm waiting for the gist ." She said with a chuckle remembering me of the days where we were still close.
"You will receive it don't worry , bye." I said back and turned to the gate .
I didn't want to look at the car , what if Hakeem was also inside? I shook my head at that thought and opened the gate.
I walked into the compound and the music playing welcomed me.
Instead of going to my own apartment I knocked at Deborah's door.
"Who's there ?" Fikunmi asked from inside,
"Mercy." I muttered back making her open the door.
She walked back to the sofa in just a tiny singlet and shorts.
I walked to their kitchen and picked a chilled bottle water from their fridge.
I opened the bottle and placed it on my lips , drinking the water.
"Something happened ooo." I said gaining their attentions back from their phone.
Deborah dropped her phone and looked at me as I dropped on the chair.
"What?" Fikunmi asked as she also faced me.
"I met Trisha today...." I was cut off by Fikunmi's hiss ,
"What did she do again? What's wrong with that girl?" Deborah said
"Everything ." Fikunmi replied
"Stop guys.. we have been misjudging her from the start no I have been misjudging her. Her sister is sick and ..." I explained everything to them and when I was done their mouths were wide opened.
"Tell me it's a lie." Deborah said dramatically,
"I don't think it is oo mama. But she's still at fault . So don't let guilt eat you up. She started this." Fikunmi said and turned to grab her phone.
"It's true sha. If she didn't do what she first did , you would have gone through it together and helped her. Abeg no kill yourself jare." Deborah said,
It's true but I still felt somehow, it's not like she told me anything and it's not like I knew so no need to feel bad .
"And also Teni asked me out." I said making Fikunmi squel while Deborah just hissed.
Deborah has always been mentioning that she was shipping Hakeem and I. And I always tell her that can't happen.
"I knew it." Fikunmi said with a grin and later added
"We need full gist oo." Making me laugh , I wonder how it would have been without them just me .
............
I packed my natural hair into one bun letting the long black curly hair out making my face look smaller .
I wore my vans on it and my look was complete.
I was wearing a simple to match pink joggers and top with Gucci design on it and it brought out my little hour glass shape.
My phone started ringing beside me , I picked it and checked the caller, it was Teni.
I picked the call,
Me; " hey"
Teni; " hi , am outside your house."
Me; "okay , I'm coming."
I walked out of the house and closed the door behind me. I kept the key in my bag and walked downstairs .
I opened the gate and stepped out, Teni was standing right in front of me looking so handsome in his denim jeans and black T-shirt , he wore a Nike to go with it and he looked hot.
He moved away from the car he was resting on and walked closer to me ,
"You look beautiful." He said with a charming smile
"You don't look bad yourself." I said back with my own smile. I just quoted the famous reply on wattpad , I know.
"Awwwwwn..thank you " he said back making me laugh since he was actually acting like a girl ,
"Guy let's go" I said and then he walked to the Toyota Camry in front of me and opened the door,
I entered looking surprised, he has a car and he never told me ,
I looked at him , "what a nice gentleman." I said as I entered making him give me a false bow ,
"Thank you my beautiful lady." He said back before he walked to the driver's side.
I chuckled at his response,
" What could possibly go wrong?"
That question ehn.
And like I promised another chapter.
And see what happened to Trisha,
That's sad.
It is well .
We all misjudged her.
