So sorry for the late update , I saw lots of messages, here's the chapter.

MERCY'S POV
I don't know if it's just me but being on a beach just gives you this little happiness.
I remember the time we all went to a beach , Idara was still here and we just played in the water until it was already getting dark.
After that I noticed the horses , so I told mum.i wanted to ride one and Idara too was willing. We both rode one shouting and screaming on it making others look at us but it's not their business we were enjoying ourselves.
Then the last but not the least experience I can never forget is the time we entered the small roller coaster for a ride.
Idara and I both entered , before the roller coaster started moving we snapped pictures using Snapchat, she was even about to start a video when the thing started moving.
I don't even know how the phone did not fall down , and at this point if people were looking at us when we were on the horse , I wonder what they will do now. I kept on shouting , screaming while Idara was praying and shouting let us down , stop it!
Remembering it always made every one laugh, cause it was too hilarious. But it wasn't our fault now , the thing was moving fast and the river was right at our front like it wanted to swallow us anytime we reached the top , and then that feeling you just get when it takes you down only to take you up again was enough to make the both of us scream.
I felt a tap on my arm bringing me back to reality ,
I turned to face the person who just tapped me , it was Teni and guess what , he brought us to a beach.
"Are you that surprised?" He asked with a smile ,
I removed my seat belt , and turned to him , was I surprised, of course. Was he planning a picnic of some sort like how they do in all those Korea series and in all those wattpad books?
Cause if that's what he planned, then he really , really impressed me.
"I don't know , what are we doing here?" I asked with a smirk.
He removed his seat belt and stepped out , I opened my own door too and watched as he walked to the booth , opened it and brought out two baskets.
He raised it up ,"we're having a picnic." He said with a grin , which I'm sure isn't up to mine ,
"Are you serious right now.?" I asked excitement clear on my face ,wait I'm wearing a long joggers , how will I play in the water with my tight joggers ,
He should have told me his plan or something and now am dressed wrong for the event.
"I am ." He said replying my question and walking up to me.
I linked his arm to mine and he led the way to the beach side.
"Am dressed wrong for this , how will I enter the water in this?" I asked him ,
"I really didn't know, uhm maybe you should go in a bikini or wear one of my top , I brought one in case , oh I'm such an idiot , I brought one in case and didn't even tell you what to do ..."
"It's okay I'll wear the top." I said cutting him off from his rant , and why was he talking about bikini, is he serious?
He's way taller than me so I'm sure his top will reach my knee or a little above it.
I looked around the beach, it was booming with songs and I think since it wasn't the festive period it wasn't as crowded as it was when I came here the last time .
I looked around , since I was sleeping on the way I really didn't know the name of this beach but this one looked secluded somehow ,
"What's the name of this beach?" I asked him ,
"Elegushi beach. Do you know it?" ,
"Yeah I do , I have been here before but it was a long time ago and it was during Christmas time." I said back as I looked at the water.
I looked around and some people were there too , some were riding horses and some people were on the roller coaster taking pictures, so some people don't scream when they are riding this thing , it is well oo.
"Me too , I like it here and I thought maybe you'll like it too." He said back with that sheepish grin.
We got to a secluded side and we decided to stay there.
He dropped one of the baskets and brought out a mat which he folded. well , how did he fold it?
He arranged it and sat down patting the side beside him. I sat down there with a smile on my face , cause really I was enjoying myself.

"I know that school , you guys like Shakara Jo." Teni said as he ate another piece of chips.
I laughed at what he said and looked up at him , he was sitting down while I was lieing down my head on his lap.
"Thank you , that's how stars do." I replied with a smirk.
We were talking about random things and now we were on the secondary school matter.
"I can see , yeye." He said with a chuckle as he looked down at me ,
"Do you want to ride a horse?" He asked making me sit right and grin , have been wanting to ride but I was too lazy to stand up from my long supply of snacks and my comfortable position.
Teni really knows his way to my heart , and I have a feeling that this date will change us.
He stood up and stretched his hands out to me , I looked at it then gingerly placed mine in his. He pulled me up without any effort , I know I'm light weight so don't bother.
We walked to one of the horse which only Thier rider were on it.
He stopped in front of us and stepped down ,
"How much?" Teni asked the rider ,
"1000 naira for the two of you." He said back.
That's expensive, the last time I came it was five hundred naira but that was five years ago.
"Okay." Teni said back.
The guy knelt down , and patted his trousers, I climbed it and he hoisted me up , I was even surprised at how easily he did it but it was his work and I'm sure he has been doing it for a long time.
Teni climbed the horse himself , followed by the rider ,
"Hold yourself ." He said and slowly I felt Teni's hand wrap around my waist making all my waist feel warm and my heart beat faster , he was right behind me with his arms wrapped around my waist.
Suddenly the horse started moving , I used my hand to touch the hair , it was a beautiful horse and it's brown hair was shining. I rubbed it slowly but then stopped.
Not because I wanted to but because the horse started moving fast , the air was brushing past my face and I felt light , the excitement course through me and I started chuckling as the horse kept on speeding.
It was a really nice thing , it just makes one feel free, so free that I even almost forgot about the arms wrapped around me.
I could feel his body vibrating against mine showing that he was also enjoying this , we turned when we reached the end and we reached our spot back.
"Let's take some pictures ." I said as the rider stopped and climbed down from the horse.
I brought out my phone and opened the camera app , I raised the phone and took shots of both of us.he even had his arms wrapped around my waist in most of them.
He stepped down from the horse and collected my phone ,
"Pose for the camera." He said making me laugh ,
He took lots of shots and then we finally decided it was enough , Teni came to my side and helped me down.
His arms wrapped around my waist and helped me down , when my leg finally touched the ground we just stared at each other , until I heard a groan
"Teni pay the guy na." I said almost bursting out laughing, the guy was frowning already and I have to admit we wasted his time.
Teni opened his wallet and brought out a thousand naira note.
The guy muttered a thank you and climbed his horse back.
Teni held my hand and we walked to the spot again ,
We sat together and checked the pictures we snapped ,
"I like this one , you look so beautiful in it." He said , I followed his gaze and it was the one where I was laughing when he was saying pose for the camera.
It Looked really beautiful, and I could see his handwork as a photographer ,
"It's beautiful I admit ." I said back making him nod ,
"It's me that snapped it na , you can't expect less." He said back , am sure his head is swelling.
I touched his hair , "ahhh your head is swelling oo. And I've you forgotten that I'm the beautiful model in it." i said making him tap my hand
"EMI . " He said and we both bursted out laughing.
"Sha send all the pictures to me." He added .
"Yes sir . " I replied back ,
"Do you want to ride the roller coaster ?" He asked making me frown , he obviously doesn't know about my relationship with that roller coaster but the mischievous part in me made me say yes again.
"Put me down!!!..... Teni tell them to stop!!!.... No oo ....... God ! Stop .. please am begging you ... please!" I kept on screaming and you guessed right we were riding it.
Teni was trying to calm me and his laugh at the same time and I ask again how can he not be affected ,
"Mercy calm down. You told me you were not scared now." He said in between laughs making me glare at him as I kept on screaming , I looked at the front again and I could see the river laughing at me.
I quickly held his shirt and placed my head on his arm , and I could still feel him laughing. Yeye boy and who send me message to ride this thing again.

"Thanks for the date." I said to Teni who was smiling as he was driving ,
"You liked it?" He asked back , making me chuckle
"Are you kidding , I loved it . " I said back earning a sheepish grin from him.
We were at the front of my house , and I was pretty tired , the stress of screaming and shouting.
"So you loved the roller coaster part?" He sked with a smirk ,
"Don't remind me ." I said back glaring at him.
I removed my seatbelt ,
"Mercy. " I heard him call ,
I turned to him and looked at him , he raised his hands and gently brushed a strand of my hair to the back , stubborn natural hair.
He leaned in , wait is he about to kiss me ? , I can't believe my first kiss will be in a car?
I was cut off from my thoughts when I felt a soft kiss on my forehead, I was actually surprised at how he couldn't hear my heartbeat and the way I felt warm all over.
He pulled back and we grinned at each other ,
" Bye Teni "
"Bye Mercy." He said back as I stepped out of his car.
I waved at him ,
"Go." I said , but he shook his head , "you go." He said back.
"No you go." I said and he chuckled before waving and zooming off.
The smile didn't leave my face as I turned to open the gate ,
"You have a nice boyfriend."
I heard an awfully familiar voice say.
