3rd person POV:
Getting inside Solas, the cockpit doors closed behind him. Once fully sealed, the solar Gears systems booted up notably faster.
Yn immediately noticed that Lunas was on his radar.
Yn: Oh? Are you excited to fight those moon loons, too? I'm getting fired up, also! Win today, win it all!
Yn: Now, let's not keep them waiting! Solar Gear Solas... Launch!
Launching out the bay gates into space, Solas in a blaze of fire which he left a trail behind, flew towards Lunas at tremendous speeds as did his counterpart.
Flying far from the Dawn, Solas, and Lunas then almost flew into each other as they passed one another, twisting around and coming to a stop to stare off.
These twin Gears, now on opposite sides, finally met again after many years.
Yn and Luna both had screens pop up in front of them, showing each other their faces, or masked faces for one of them.
Luna:(coms) So we meet face to face at last.
Yn: Well face to mask. So maybe take that bucket off?
Luna:(coms) I rather not.
Yn: Eh, I guess the privilege of seeing your face will come when I cover it with bruises.
Yn: You'll be looking like a crescent moon when I'm done!
Luna:(coms) Hmph! I still cannot believe a barbarian such as yourself is in control of such a Gear.
Luna:(coms) Is fighting truly all you care for?
Yn: Figures a delusional war starter who wears a bucket on their head wouldn't get it.
Yn: With our situation, our talks are limited. So all we have is battle!
Yn: Our passions colliding and clashing... Talking the language of battle to learn the feelings of each other's hearts.
Luna:(coms)... Quite profound... But it's "language of fists" not battle.
Yn:?!
Yn: You watch "Total impact"?
Luna:(coms) I did... But I no longer have time for such childish things.
Yn:......
Yn: HIYAAAAAAA!!!
(Solas vs Lunas: round 1)
Flames erupted out of Solas as he charged towards Lunas, who quickly began surging with below zero air.
Red and blue lights emitting from the two clashed like them.
Luna and Yn both felt a moment of hesitation before their Gear's fists clashed but it soon faded upon impact.
(PUNCH)
A shock wave of fire and ice echoes out from the impact of their attacks.
Pushing themselves away, Lunas pulls out his beam cannon and fires at Solas who raises his arm to defend against the first few attacks, before curving around him to throw a wide swing.
Luna then took out Lunas's beam katana which they swung at Solas and Yn.
Turning their wide swing towards the beam katana, Solas and Yn caught the beam weapon in their hand.
(Bang)
Raising their other arm, Solas got shot in the face by Lunas's beam cannon.
Yn: Ugh!
The attack blinded Yn for a moment leaving Luna an opening to unleash a flurry of beam katana slashes.
Luna then tried to end her flurry by kicking Solas, whoever he caught the leg, and flipped Lunas around.
Then with a flaming leg, kicked Lunas's back mid-flip.
Luna: GHA!
Flying forward, Luna recovered quite quickly and turned around to shoot Solas, but instead got a punch across the face.
Swinging wildly, she tried to knock Yn away with her beam katana, but with a palm strike, Yn crushed the top part of the weapon causing it to explode in Lunas's hand, whipping it back.
She then tried to fire her beam cannon but Solas punched the gun, breaking it and causing it to explode as well.
With normal weapons, nothing more but an annoyance against his armor, Luna turned to what did affect the gear.
Melee combat.
Catching an incoming fist by Solas, the solar gear then attempted to push on his fist but Lunas's strength matched his twin.
Kicking Solas in the side, Luna knocked him away, just to fly up and place their hand onto Solas's chest.
Luna attempt to freeze Solas.
Yn: Oh no you don't!!
Ice began surrounding Solas's body until Yn began turning up the heat, destroying the ice.
Knocking away their hand, Yn grabbed Lunas and tried to burn it.
But it didn't take long for him to realize that they were also immune to their elemental attacks.
Luna:(coms) It seems our Gears truly are related. They're too evenly matched, not to be.
Yn: Maybe they are now, but when I get fired up, Lunas won't stand a chance.
Yn: For the feeling of rivalry is pushing me to go beyond!
Solas began pointing dual finger guns at Luna's.
Yn: Solar Gun barrage...FIRE!
Unleashing a volley of the flame blast towards Lunas, who at first didn't think much of the attack, until getting hit several times.
The heavy impacts of the solar gun barrage weren't something Luna was going to try and tank.
Taking evasive action, Lunas spun around the battlefield, trying hard not to get hit.
Little did they or the crew on the S.S Dawn know, but there was a third party watching and observing the battle.
Once Yn ended the Solar Gun Barrage, he jetted towards Luna.
The two quickly became blue and red blurs which flew all over the area, bouncing off each other, only to immediately fly back together to clash again, making a magnificent spectacle for all the onlookers to watch.
Yn and Luna continued to push themselves along with their Gears, to their limits.
For, this battle could potentially end it all.
But the two failed to notice, over their growing passion for the fight, was the stiffness of their Gears.
The more serious they got, the more Solas and Lunas, almost seemed to hold back, as not to turn a spar into a deathmatch.
Luna:(coms) It's time we end this!
Yn: You read my mind!
Yn/Luna: My soul/heart burns/aches with an awesome/magnificent POWER!!!
Luna: Freezing away any sense of mercy....!
Yn: It's raging flames....!
Luna: Howl out...
Yn/Luna: FOR ME TO DEFEAT YOU!!!
Yn/Luna: Take this!
The two Gear blastoff towards each other, with their fists raised, along with fire and ice coming out of them
Yn: SUNRISE OVERDRIVE!
Luna: FULLMOON OVERDRIVE!
(Sunset vs Fullmoon Overdrive)
(Booooooooom)
Sending each other back spinning, the two left large dents in each other Gears.
Yn: Ugghh...
Luna:(trying to stop head spinning)
Yn: You...You want some more...?
Luna:...(coms) This battle will have to continue another time...
Yn: Why-
Solas's sensors pick up several Mars ships that were coming to their location. Luna knew she couldn't take that many on with Yn around so she left.
Yn: Wait!
Aibella:(coms) Yn, return back to the ship.
Yn: Huh, but she's getting away!
Aibella:(coms) Solas is damaged, we don't know how badly.
Yn: It's just a dent!
Jacklin:(coms) Listen to our chief science officer, Direx.
Yn: Oh come on!
Cynthia:(coms) She's already gone. You might as well.
Yn:... Ugh!
Yn: Can't believe we're ending it with a tie!
Solas flies back to the S.S Dawn to receive a damaged report from Aibella.
(Meanwhile, Nexstar CEO office)
Staring out the window, into the stars, the CEO of the largest tech corporations sat quietly in his secure office until the AI assistant Aiba arrived.
Decardo: How is she doing?
Aiba: Living. Currently going through tests for her augmentations.
Decardo: Good, good. And the Eclipse?
Aiba: Delayed. Based on new information on the Lunar Gear, the design is getting reworked.
Decardo: Give me a look, I'll try to help. You focus on making sure Ixia is ready.
Aiba: As you wish.
She leaves him to his work.
