3rd person POV:
Yn: Zzzzzz...
Luna: Zzzzzz... Hm? (Yawn)
Realizing she had woken up, Luna got up and hangs her feet from her top bunk as she wiped away the crud in her eyes.
Yn: Zzzzzz...hmmm...?
Waking up half-covered by his blanket, Yn got up groggily, trying to leave his bottom bunk only to get a face full of Luna's feet.
Yn: Agh! What the-!?
Luna:?
Yn: Get your feet out of my face!
(Slap)
Swinging his arm, Yn whacks Luna's leg with an open palm.
Luna: Gha! You little...
Getting out of bed, Yn was met with Luna's revenge. She swung her leg to the side to smack Yn against the head.
Yn: OW!
Yn/Luna:(glare)
Yn:(cracks knuckles) Wanna go?!
Luna:(cracks neck) Why not...?
(30 minutes later)
Yn and Luna arrived roughed up in the mess hall, to find the others finishing up their breakfast.
Ryuka: What the heck happened to you two?
Yn: Morning brawl...
Aibella: You two are supposed to be recovering, not fighting.
Yn: She kicked me in the head!
Luna: After you slapped my leg.
Yn: Because you shoved your feet in my face!
Luna: I did not shove my feet into your face.
Headbutting her helmet-covered face, Yn initiated a clash where the two of them began pushing against one another with their heads like bulls.
Yn: If you didn't, then who's feet were in my face!?
Luna: They were mine-
Yn: So you admit it!
Luna: Ugh! Let me finish! They were mine, but I did not shove them in your face!
Luna: I didn't intend for you to walk into my feet!
Yn:?
Yn: Why didn't you just say that at the start!?
He pushes himself away from Luna.
Yn:(mumbles) Freaking creating misunderstandings... Oh, great, my heads bleeding!
Cynthia/Ryuka:.....
Aibella:... I'm sure it's a phase... They'll get close real soon.
(Opening theme)
(S.S Dawn, Bridge)
Ryuka: Heading back to Neptune, eh?
Ron: With both Solas and Lunas on our side, we now stand a chance against the eclipse gears.
Juliet: We can finally arrest Saiko.
Ryuka: Don't know if "finally" is the right term, but alright.
Ryuka: Do we have a plan set up?
Juliet: Currently, the plan is to have Luna make her forces contain the eclipse gears in a certain area.
Juliet: From there, we'll take them on.
Ryuka: Simple enough.
Luna: If only it was in practice.
Everyone:?
Joining the conversation, Luna started to explain the difficulties she was having.
Luna: I've been trying to contact the Crescent on the private line I can access with my mask.
Ryuka: And?
Luna: No one is responding.
Ron: That's a slight problem...
Luna: Slight is an understatement.
Luna: I made sure that there would always be someone on the line, who would answer.
Luna: And I know the line is still open.
Luna: So something is wrong... I fear the worse.
Ryuka: That being?
Luna: Crescent being compromised.
Ron: It's good to be prepared for such a thing, but let's not jump to conclusions when there are many other possibilities.
Ron: For all we know, their microphone is broken and they haven't realized it.
Luna: Someone will be strangled to death if that is the case.
Juliet: Ron, call the captain. We're nearing Neptune's capital.
Calling Jacklin, she soon arrived on the bridge, followed by Yn and Cynthia.
Once the S.S Dawn was close enough, they were able to scan the capital to find it abandoned with only the eclipse Gear, Quasar, and Crescent Gears but strangely, they weren't fighting.
Yn: Looks like trouble.
Cynthia: Are we getting any responses to our calls?
Juliet: Negative.
Jacklin:.....
Cynthia: Captain, orders.
Jacklin: Luna, Direx, you two will launch out and investigate. Luna, focus on reestablishing contact with Crescent.
Jacklin: Yn, in the meantime, you'll act as support.
Yn: "Fun".
Jacklin: Get to it.
Yn: Aye aye Captain...
Luna: We'll get it done.
The two leave the bridge and talk on their way to their Gears.
Yn: What do you think Crescent is doing?
Luna: Don't know. This behavior is strange.
Yn: Strange how?
Luna: They aren't attacking the eclipse Gear.
Yn: Looks like we're going to have to do it for them.
Luna: Seems so.
Entering their Gears which they promptly awakened, Solas and Lunas soon launched and flew towards Neptune's capital.
Yn: Can we crash through the ceiling?
Jacklin:(coms)... If they bill us, it's coming out of your paycheck.
Yn: Oh, right! I'm getting paid for this! Forgot about that...
Leading the way, head first, Solas crashed through the Capitals dome. Lunas flew through the same hole Solas made and together landed atop a few buildings, looking down at the Crescent Gears and Quasar.
(H²G mass production: Poseidon)
Luna:(speaker) It is I, Luna! Crescent attack the eclipse Gear!
All the mass production Poseidon's slowly turn and aim their weapons at Solas and Lunas.
Luna:(speaker) Crescent, it's me, Luna. Stand down.
There was no response.
Yn: Uhh... Luna?
Luna:(coms) They've betrayed me?
Saiko:(speaker) These Gears are under my command now.
Luna:(speaker) What do you mean? They would never follow a corporate pawn, like yourself!
Saiko:(speaker) These Gears are the only pawns here.
Yn:(speaker) Huh? Are you saying you're puppeteering these Gears like your extra one?
Saiko:(speaker) Come find out.
Yn:(speaker) Challenge accepted!
Yn: HI-
Luna:(coms) Yn.
Yn:!?
Solas who was about to leap off the building he stood on, stopped and caught his balance to let Yn listen to what Luna had to say.
Yn: What?
Luna:(coms) Leave the eclipse to me.
Yn:... She's yours until I incinerate the minions.
Luna:(coms) Deal.
Yn: Now this time for real... HI-
The Poseidon's opened fore on Solas and Lunas with their hydrogen-powered rifles.
Yn: Come on!
The buildings they stood on, collapsed after Solas and Lunas leaped off of them.
As Lunas flew straight past the crowd of Gears to Saiko's Lunar Eclipse, Solas meanwhile flew straight into the crown.
Quasar leaped back and used its thrusters to create distance between it and Luna, who used Lunas's own propulsion system to follow.
Luna:(speaker) You cannot run!
Now a good enough distance away from Solas and the Poseidon's, Saiko ground to a halt and swung at Luna's with the blade on the right arm of Quasar.
Lunas met her attack with one of its own. Pulling out both Dusk blades, Luna and Saiko canceled out the other's attack upon impact.
Streams of freezing "air" jetted out of both Lunas and Quasar, freezing the nearby ground.
Luna:(speaker) Now tell me specifically, what did you do to Crescent.
Saiko:(speaker) Talking to you is not necessary at the moment.
Kicking Lunas back, Saiko freezes the ground to try and trap Luna. It failed as she flew into the air and flipped out her Dusk rifle.
Every shot left the area it hit with a chunk of ice. Quasar avoided getting hit as best it could.
Luna: Tch...
A holographic screen then popped up for Luna, revealing Saiko was not in the Gear, she was controlling it remotely.
Luna:?
Texed then popped on the screen telling her "Put pressure on her, don't give her room to think".
Luna:... Fine.
Putting the rifle away, Lunas flew straight towards Saiko like a missile.
With the exhaust in the hands, Lunas fed his frozen excess energy through the Dusk blades, leading to the frosty gusts coming out the back of them.
Swinging them horizontally across, Saiko had no choice but to jump back, but Luna didn't stop there, twisting them around, she swung the blades back horizontally, making Saiko jump back, again.
Lunas followed up those swings with a barrage of sword thrusts.
While retreating back, Quasar took out its beam katanas it had holstered on its backside.
Saiko used them to help deflect the strikes from Lunas or at least believed it would help.
The beam katanas obviously couldn't damage the Dusk blades, for they were made from Nexium, so the heat from the beam blades didn't really affect them, not to mention the cold temperatures they were currently in.
Due to the cold temperatures of the Dusk blades, Saiko noticed how her beam katanas were getting disrupted.
Noticing how she was also getting pushed into a wall, Saiko tried to change the tides of the battle by taking control of its flow.
Quasar lifted its right arm and froze the air in front of it, solid.
Lunas quickly demolished the wall of ice, but that time it took to do it was enough for Quasar to get above, Lunas and strike him.
Punching the Lunar Gear in the head, Saiko knocked it onto his back. Following up the attack as she fell towards Luna, Saiko raised the blade attached right arm in preparation for stabbing into the cockpit of Lunas.
On instinct, Luna swung both blades at Quasar, but it was too far to hit the Gear, so all she managed to do was create an ice construct in between the gears.
Which was exactly what she wanted. Saiko lowered her guard, believing she had Luna acting desperate, so she became surprised when she shattered the ice construct in between them only to see the dusk rifle in her Gears face.
(BANG)
With a single shot to the head, Quasar was sent flying back.
Luna then saw some text pop on her screen. "Are you okay?" her Gear worriedly asked.
Luna: I'm fine. We only fell, nothing to distress about.
The Lunar and Lunar Eclipse Gear's stood back up. Quasar's head being quite dented and encased in ice.
Luna: It's time to end this... Here-
Yn:(speaker) HERE I GO!
Luna/Saiko:?
The two turn to look at Solas to see what Yn was screaming about.
Yn:(speaker) My soul! It's burning with a great, rising, POWER!
Flames intensely swirl out from Solas.
Yn:(speaker) With love, hate, and sorrow it rages for your defeat!
Solas flies into the air.
Yn:(speaker) Take rhis!
Encased in flames, Solas flies down towards the remaining Poseidon's with his fist raised.
Yn:(speaker) DAWN-SET OVERDRIVE!
(CRASH-KABOOOOOOOOM)
Solas incinerates the remaining Poseidon Gears in an explosion of fire that damages the city which the repairs would most likely come out of his paycheck.
Luna: Show off...
Luna:!
Realizing she had been distracted, Lunas turned to Quasar only to find Saiko chose to escape.
Luna:... Tch... Good job, fool. You managed to distract me enough to let the eclipse escape.
Yn:(coms) Hey! That's on you! You should have focused on the battle!
Luna: When you shouted, I thought you were in trouble, so I looked-
Yn:(coms) And got entranced by my awesome skills and devilishly good looks... Look, Luna, if we're going to work together you need to get over this crush.
Luna: I'll slit your throat when you're sleeping if you continue to insinuate these ridiculous things.
Yn:(coms) That's a start I guess...
Jacklin:(coms) Enough you two. We're leaving now before she truly gets away.
Yn:(coms) Alright...
Luna: Let us hurry.
Solas and Lunas then returned to the S.S Dawn.
