3rd person POV:
(With Cynthia and Ryuka)
Accepting the mission given to them by their Captain, Jacklin Trudian, the first mate and gear pilot with their Gears, and a shuttle, stealthily made their way back to Jupiter.
With the positions of the planets and the course of the S.S Dawn at the time, they got an easier time traveling to Jupiter, especially after they found and met up with a cruiser that was near Saturn which happily brought them back to the planet faster.
The cruiser then provided a line to Theo, the acting leader of Jupiter so they could speak with him about opening the wormhole gate for transport to Earth.
Theo:(coms) Open the wormhole gate?
Cynthia: Yes. We have the means to end this conflict, we simply need to get back to earth and deal with Nexstar.
Ryuka: So come on, sir. How quickly this conflict ends entirely depends on you letting us use the wormhole gate.
Theo:(coms) Twisting my arm, aren't you?
Theo:(coms) Very well, I'll grant you access, I don't see why not. But miss Foxtrot, I demand a rematch when it's all over.
Cynthia: Very well, but the outcome will be the same... your defeat.
Theo:(coms) Time will tell.
Ending the call, the duo prepared themselves to wormhole jump across planetoids.
(Opening theme)
Lunas and Solas flew towards the Crescent fortress, Pluto which was curiously making its way to Uranus.
Without any hesitation, they crashed through the dome of Pluto which quickly patched itself up after they passed through it.
Crashing onto the surface of Pluto the two found the Eclipse Gears waiting for them on the nation's council building where Luna made her base.
Yn:(speaker) So Saiko, what brings you here? I know it's not the climate, there are way better places than this.
Saiko:(speaker) My mission brings me here.
Yn:(speaker) What a coincidence, so are we. Our mission is to beat you up, and yours?
Saiko:(speaker) Classified.
Luna:(speaker) Then your safety is forfeit.
Saiko:(speaker) I will be victorious.
Yn:(speaker) Looking back, I have to question your definition of "victorious".
Yn:(speaker) Because for me, running away means you lose.
Saiko:(speaker) Yn Direx, you will-
Quasar then lifts its arm up in front of Blazar to stop Saiko from continuing. This confused everyone including Saiko herself, for she was supposed to be the one controlling both Gears.
Yn: D-did she just... Stop herself?
Confused, he asked.
Luna:(coms) She must have lost it. Let's put her out of her misery.
Jacklin:(coms) Do it after you get more information on what she is doing with Pluto.
Luna: Tch...
Saiko stared at the Lunar Eclipse Gear with confusion as she tried to move it to no avail.
It then turned its head to her.
Saiko:!?
Dyson: Your emotions are showing. Until you make yourself decent, I'll take control of Quasar.
Saiko: I don't understand how you're doing this.
Dyson: I don't expect a simple doll to understand, simply enjoy my gift and might give you a new dress.
Saiko: What are you talking about-
Saiko:!?
Saiko: GHAAAAAA!!!
She clenches her head in pain.
Yn/Luna:?!?
Saiko:(speaker) GHAAAAA!!
Yn: What's wrong with her now!?
Luna: What a pain...
Dyson:(speaker) You have 10 minutes to fight them.
The artificial voice said, coming from Quasar, confusing the duo even further than they were before.
Yn: Great, another voice changed prick...
Yn:(speaker) Who the stardust are you!?
Dyson:(speaker) You may call me Dyson. Consider me Saiko's "boss".
Yn:(speaker) I'll meet you in the middle and call you my punching bag!
Dyson:(speaker) I'm quite busy, so perhaps when I'm done.
Quasar flies off.
Yn: Oh no you don't!
Solas goes after Quasar, the two crashing through the Pluto dome.
Blazar was about to go after Yn but gets shot by Lunas.
Luna:(speaker) I will be your opponent.
Saiko:(speaker) New target acquired...
Solas chases Quasar around Pluto. Each time he got close, this Dyson would completely change his direction, it became quite obvious that he had no interest in Yn.
Instead of fighting Solas, Dyson attacked all the thrusters of Pluto, one by one until all were broken.
Dyson:(broadcasting) Should you really waste your time with me?
Yn:(sigh)... Do you know what he's on about, Solas?
A chibi Solas appeared shrugging.
Yn:(smiles) Oh my stardust, when did you get that?
Aibella:(coms) Yn, we have a serious issue!
Yn: How serious?
Aibella:(coms) At Pluto's current speed and trajectory, it's going to hit a city!
Yn:!?
Turning to Uranus, he saw a city orbiting the planet. Looking back at Quasar, it was leaving.
Yn: Dyson...you're on the list!
Yn: Aibella, how do I stop this thing from crashing into a city?
Aibella:(coms) We need something to push it off course.
Yn: You heard her Solas! Let's push this giant thing out of the way of the city!
Aibella:(coms) Get Lunas to help!
Yn: Luna! Get over here!
Lunas with both arms catch the fingers of Blazer's eclipse claw, holding it open so they don't snap together and bind the Lunar Gear.
Luna: Give me a moment...
Seeing the eclipse claw heat up, Lunas begin to try and freeze it, which caused a cloud of steam to form.
The two separate to attempt to used the blinding cloud to their advantage. Taking their gun out Blazar and Lunas opened fire, trying to land a hit.
There were many misses until Lunas jumped in the air over the steam cloud and fired at Blazar who also fired, leading to their shots hitting in the middle and canceling one another out.
Putting her dusk rifle away, Lunas pulled out the Dusk blades. With the blades out, Lunas swung down as he fell to hit Blazar.
Landing with a twin downward slash, Lunas's attack was negated by Blazar catching both blades with its hand.
The two were at a clash, where both tried to outpower the other.
Quasar then landed behind Lunas.
Luna:!
Luna: I might be a while...
Yn:(coms) Aw screw it, me and Solas will do it ourselves!
Solas flew more towards the city to give himself a running start.
Yn:(mind) Okay...come on, come on! We got this!
Yn: HIYAAAAAAA!!!
In an explosion of flames, Solas flew towards Pluto and crashed straight into it.
Yn: Ugh!
Not stopping there, he continued pushing.
Yn:(Struggling) M-MOOOOOOVVEEE!!!
Back with Luna, Quasar was approaching her from behind, so Lunas raised his wings and blasted a stream of cold at the gear with such force, a frozen wave of ice was formed, but that only delayed the Lunar eclipse Gear.
That was enough for Luna to flip over Blazar and move away to reassess the situation.
Luna: Two against one... the odds aren't in our favor, Lunas...
Dyson:(speaker) The mission is complete. We may leave.
Sakio:(speaker) UGH.... huh.?
Dyson:(speaker) We're leaving.
Saiko:(speaker)... We're not finished until I defeat Direx... And her.
Dyson:(speaker) Grudges are a waste of time. Especially against someone who has served their purpose.
Luna: Huh?
Luna:(speaker) What are saying?
Dyson:(speaker) There is no reason for me to tell a pawn anything.
Luna:(speaker) Pawn?
Dyson:(speaker) Worry about the leader then that question.
Luna: Le-
Luna:!!
She turns to the nation's meeting center after remembering that the leaders themselves were still trapped in the basement.
Dyson, taking this opportunity, drags Saiko off Pluto.
Saiko: Wait!
Dyson: Their chance of survival is below 50%. If they survive this, you may kill them the next time we meet.
Luna makes her way to her base and exits Lunas to quickly make her way down to try and save the world leaders.
Jacklin:(coms) What are you doing, Luna?
Luna: The world leaders are still down in the dungeon.
Luna: I might not like them, but I will not let them die until they face the price of their crimes!
Luna:(mind) If I allow them to die, they will just become martyrs!
Meanwhile with Yn.
Yn: AAAAGGHHHHHHH! MOVE YOU, HEAVY BASTARD!
Luna arriving in the dungeon finds the worst-case scenario.
All the world leaders with a bullet in between their eyes, including her father.
Luna:!?
Luna:.... RAH!
In anger, she punches a wall.
Luna:....
Jacklin:(coms) Luna, report.
Luna:... They're dead.
Luna:(mind) What was your goal here...?
Aibella:(coms) No use fluffing about! Get out of there!
Luna: Right.
She dashes out of the dungeons back up to the surface.
On the S.S Dawn, The captain asked Aibella...
Jacklin: How are things looking?
Aibella: Surprisingly, Yn is pushing it off course, but he needs to do a bit more to allow the Pluto to fall into Uranus.
Juliet: He better hurry, before the city's defenses begin shooting at him!
Aibella: Don't worry I have a plan.
Aibella: Yn.
Yn:(coms) W-what...?
Aibella: Is that all you got? Luna could do better than you!
Yn:(coms)... RRRRRAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!! WE'LL SEE ABOUT THAT!
Pushing himself even further, Solas's flames increase immensely as he pushes Pluto more.
Aibella is able to tell that Solas was pushing near 80% of his engine's max output.
Aibella:(mind) So close...
Ron:... He's done it, Yn has successfully pushed Pluto on a new trajectory straight into Uranus.
Jacklin: Yn, get back to base. We must continue to chase the Eclipse Gear.
Yn:(coms) R-right...
Jacklin: You to Luna.
Luna:(coms) Understood.
Solas and Lunas quickly make their way back to the S.S Dawn where they saw Pluto get pulled into Uranus's orbit and get destroyed upon falling into the planet.
Luna:....
(Hours later)
Yn enters his shared room with Luna, to find her brooding on her top bunk in a cool manner.
Yn: Still wearing that outfit, huh?
Luna: Well I can't quite lay around in my birthday suit with a degenerate such as yourself living with me.
Yn: Degenerate? Would a degenerate do this?
He tosses a bunch of clothes at Luna.
Luna:(removes underwear from face)
Luna: I believe so... Who's do these belong to?
Yn: They're yours.
Luna:?
Yn: Pluto, was your base, which means all your stuff got destroyed with it, right?
Luna: Yes...
Yn: Well I'm sick of smelling your stinking clothes!
Yn: Now you can get them washed.
Luna:.... Thank you.
Yn: No problem.
He jumps into his bottom bunk as Luna inspects her new clothing.
Luna: Where did you get these...?
Yn: Some are extra clothing from the crew uniform, others are stuff I nicked from Aibella.
Luna: Are you sure she won't get mad?
Yn: She's a robot. She doesn't need fresh clothing because she doesn't sweat...
Yn: You, however...(fake gag)
Yn: Change already, will ya?
Luna:(sigh).... I will.
