In England, Henry had received news of his eldest daughter's pregnancy and couldn't be more pleased. He received a letter from Francis, asking permission to have Mary come to France to help Elizabeth with her pregnancy and to find a husband for her. He would grant his eldest daughter's wish since she had done her duty. Now if only Anne was like his eldest daughter and be a faithful wife, then life would be simple. Anne was getting too nosy about politics and he didn't know if he could take it anymore. With her pregnancy, Henry was getting restless. He had also heard countless rumors about Anne's infidelity. Luckily for him, he had a woman waiting in line to take Anne's place. Jane Seymour, a lady-in-waiting to Anne and a close friend of his eldest daughter. She was the total opposite of Anne. She was kind, obedient, loyal, and kept her opinions to herself. He had high hopes that Jane just might be the key to his happiness and his chance to have a son. Anne had lost their second child to a miscarriage and it was a boy. It was as if the same thing that happened to Catherine was happening to Anne.

Now, he had to put all of that aside and check on the preparations for his eldest daughter and son-in-law. Henry entered the council room where a meeting would be held to discuss about Anne and his eldest daughter's arrival. He said, as he sat down, "Tell me, milords. How shall we deal with the matter of Her Majesty?" Charles replied, "We could put her on trail and allow justice to decided, Your Majesty. Of course, the Queen will deny the truth but the evidence will say otherwise." Henry nodded and said, "And what about the preparations of my eldest daughter and son-in-law's arrival?" Another council member replied, "They are all being dealt with, Your Majesty. Nothing will be amiss. I had heard about the news of Her Highness' pregnancy. May I congratulate Your Majesty?" Henry said, "You may, milord. Thank you. During my daughter's stay, she must be well taken care of since she will be here for awhile. Her pregnancy is a sign of a golden age, not only for England but for France." The council members nodded in agreement and clapped for Henry. With that, the council was dismissed.

Outside of the castle, Jane walked around the castle gardens as she enjoyed the fresh air. She still couldn't believe that the King had chosen her to be his mistress. Both her father and her dear friend, the older Princess Elizabeth, warned her about the King's strong appetite for women. The Lady had no idea that she was falling into a trap but she couldn't help by fall in love with the King. Her thoughts were interrupted by the sound of her brother calling her name. Jane turned to see her brother, Edward, running over to her with a letter in his hand. Jane smiled at her brother and said to him, "Edward? What has caused you to be in such a rush?" Edward replied, handing Jane the letter in his hand, "A letter came for you from the Princess Elizabeth." Jane took the letter from her brother and began to read it.

My dear friend,

It pleases me so that you now have a hold on my father rather than that harlot, Anne Boleyn. I hear that my father is loosing interest in her just as he did with my mother. I am sure that the harlot must be loosing her mind. I am also sure that you have heard about my and my husband's departure to England from France to celebrate the news of my pregnancy. When we arrive, I hope to have a meeting with you to discuss not only my pregnancy but the matter of you taking the harlot's place. Don't be discouraged, this has nothing to do with my half-sister. A child should not be judged by their parent's wrongdoings. Lizzy will be under my guardianship once Anne is out of the way. On another note, my dear sister Mary will join us and will help me with my pregnancy and in return, my husband and I will search for a husband for her. I hope you will join us in the search. I will look forward to be in your company.

Sincerely,

HRH Princess Elizabeth of England and France.

Jane smiled after reading the letter from her close friend. Elizabeth was coming to England and she would be having a visit from her. Edward smiled at his sister and said to her, "Well, what did it say, sister?" Jane replied, "Elizabeth is coming to England and she wants to visit me. Just like we used to." Edward smiled and said, "Maybe she can help you get the throne." Jane sighed and replied, "I don't want the throne, brother. My only desire is to make the King happy. If he wants me to be his lawful wife and Queen, then that it is his will." Edward held the urge to roll his eyes, he knew that his sister never had eyes for the throne. She fell into the trap of love and she would either triumph over it or pay for it later. Just like Anne was doing at the moment.
