Chapter 9: The Girl and The Boy by The House of Yellow

LUNAWords: 1269

I saw a girl and a boy

And they reminded me of us

The way she held her yellow papers

And how he played using his fingers

Her black hair, falling in front of her shoulders

As she sits with him on those large painted boulders

I couldn't hear what they're talking about

Only I can hear is the string's sound

Sitting in the backseat, with this pen and paper

I looked at them in a curious manner

Asking myself, not expecting an answer

"Are they writing a song together?"

A black bag behind her

A red bag behind him

He didn't notice the bag was slowly falling

For he's focused on her and his strumming

They moved closer, few inches apart

That made me feel flutter in my heart

They listened to a song, from her phone

I blinked, for I think I saw their faces shove

The boy looked back, I tried to hide

But I still wasn't successful even if I tried

My heart beated faster, wishing they didn't saw

For I never wanted them to stop this show

But with a saddened heart, we had to leave

And the last thing I saw was the paper she had give

He then put his strings down, and read

And then he smiled with such a need

I looked back, but they weren't visible anymore

But I will never forget them, I'm sure

For they've made my heart feel mellow

The boy and the girl by the house of yellow.
